I think it really comes down to what you prefer. This one seems a little more "automatic" like a Sony or Canon with a Fuji package, the XT4 is probably more "manual" due to having separate dials for everything. But I assure you will be happy with any.
@@blackentrepreneur244 If you want photos only, you could get an XT3 and save some money. The XT3 and XT4 are pretty much the same camera, just that the XT4 is better equipped for video stuff. Or if you want to save even more money, go for an XT30 that has the same sensor as the XT3 and XT4 anyways. Keep in mind the Fuji X system is not a cheap one, including lenses so if you are going to buy lenses as well, it could be good for your wallet to save wherever you can.
@@Michaeltje2.0 I use the a6400 for video bro. When it comes to stills, i don't like the image it produces straight out of camera personally. Fuji color science, & film simulations is the reason why I want one for stills.
So good to see you actually using the camera, so we can see some great pictures. Most other reviews, up to now, have dealt with the UI and tech details.
Yeah I didn’t even really want to review it. I just wanted to vlog a road trip shoot with it. but I assume ppl would be mad if I didn’t talk about the UI and buttons etc
ahh I love fuji, currently shoot on an XT3! just waiting for that next sensor! I love the flip screen on the XT4 but can not justify the cost of upgrade. This Xs10 is great but feel like it would be somewhat of down grade as im avid fuji user and don't want to let go of my dials! great video your work always inspires me to shoot! loving the way classic neg looked, I need to try this out more often! I can never seem to get the colours right with it... are you shooting raw then applying the fuji preset in post or are you shooting JPEG ?
Just bought this camera used to start my mirrorless journey. Wanted to go small. Got a pancake lens. Maybe I’ll go XH2S in the future for hybrid if I still like it over time.
Nice preview. The shots I liked were those by the pier. They were all good just my preference. I imagine Fuji will firmware fix the eye tracking and its not an issue for most of what I shoot is static anyway. But having certain eye issues spot on acvurate auto focus for some thing is important for me. I've always found Fuji coloration all the way back to my 2 MP S5000 to be fabulous and even then the B&W was sharp. I'll miss the ISO dial for sure and not sure if I'll trade in my X-T1 or not. But that grip regardless of the pinky issue might be resolved with a mod or add on battery grip. And just having a deep grip might get me.
Looking to buy a Fugi camera. I think this is the fugi I would want if they had kept the traditional analog control system. As is, I think the xpro 2 is what I will get.
Thanks, really enjoyed. I bought an X100V which got me a little bit excited about Fuji and now thinking about adding an interchangeable....X-S10 is quite a compelling alternative to XT4 with weight and grip advantages - I have vintage-look covered with the X100.....
Damn I love Classic Neg. I hope the XT3 firmware update coming later this month comes with it. Are those SOOC JPEGs or did you do any sort of post? That shot at 8:34
Man those shots were deliriously delicious, the colours and the model worked seamlessly with the light. I wish Fuji made faster wider zoom lenses for vlogging.
Love your video. You did a great job. I think it's a lot do a lot with your skills as well. I can't get such great pic with my 18-55 kit lens. Oh, your model is such a plus. She is amazing.
I tell you what, this guy should have WAY more followers. Those are some serious commercial quality shots. I downloaded Lee's presets the other day, and..... have now moved from Fuji over to Sony (sorry Fooj guys). It's all about having confidence in the eye focus and tracking. If Fuji could match Sony eye detect and real-time tracking - it would be almost perfect. But with Lee's presets and a sony body... we're 99.9% there.
That’s the 1or 2 thing Sony is better at and is critical I agree. It mean being efficient, 95% wins vs 70-80% wins depends on ambient. Depends on corporate goals, they are passing Nikon, next will be Canon or Sony most likely. Hope they can improve it or just add Lidar + Pixel Shift on the next XH2 and make everyone go bonkers. Haha
Wish you did more video review on the camera. And you mentioned you don't recommend i.s boost? I started with photography 12 years ago and I kind of wanting to do more on video side of things.
Lush photos Lee. There's one thing you can't buy and that's gorgeous natural light. I've always loved more moody, darker late afternoon skies in portrait photography and the way they make colours richer. X-S10 looks a winner, but man I keep forgetting how good that kit lens is. Its bokeh still looks great at f/4 telephoto and it's super-sharp, best kit lens out there I think - in fact the kit name is a bit of a disservice! Quality modelling as well, and solid work by your mate doing the filming too. x
I have no camera but I already know that if I have one I have to shoot in lower ISO. There's something special in low ISO LOL. Can you make a simple photo editing vlog?
Every other reviewer: This is a picture of an old man crossing the street. The next one is of my sleeping cat. Lee: Here are some cool fashion photos right out of the camera!
Compare body to body they're equally capable. A6400 has superior AF with real-time tracking but the S10 has better dynamic range and can focus in low light better. The real difference is lenses. Fuji APSC glasses are the best in its class. You need FF glasses on the a6400 to get the same IQ.
Great review! Do you feel like the IBIS does well enough to film with the 35mm f2? More drawn to the 35mm because of size and bokeh, but want to be able to film steady shots as well!

Well it depends what you classify as cheap or expensive. For me this camera costs 1100 bucks (body only
