Proud to see how proud you're with your Jewish heritage! And proud of the business you built. In my office we only have mini kind bars in the coffee room.
Love the brand's message and origin story. I remember kind handing out free bars at my university several years back! They are definitely kind in their business values as well.

I've always wanted to start a wholesome nutritious bar business and then I saw KIND bars on retail shelves as I grew older and I was like "man how I could I possibly compete?" so I switched over to supplements lolol. Anyway, I can't complain. This man is amazing. His story and and his mission are bar none. I mean what a great company.
@@chrislanejones have you also seen the ingredients of the bars? They’re like 75% almonds/cashews. I wouldn’t underestimate how much they cost to produce compared to your oat-filled similarly marketed bars (Cliff bars would be a good example). I love Kind bars, we had them at my last company. They are absolutely delicious, but I wish they were wrapped in paper or some other sustainable material rather than plastic. Plastic offers the transparency for customers to see the delicious ingredients but maybe in the future, they’ll be in paper but a small window of plastic. Love them!

Agreed. Literally just ordered a few boxes of their chocolate sea salt bars before popping on here and seeing this video. Love that they’re so low in sugar that I can give one to my little brother and he thinks he’s getting a treat like a candy bar , when it’s relatively way healthier lol
Working for KIND was the worst job I ever had. I would refer to them as UNKIND. And it’s a shame because he seems like such a humble, hardworking man. But I guess when companies expand to that extent, you can no longer personally know the managers being hired.
Genuine question - it stood out to me that he said Israelis and their Arab neighbors... would there be a reason he said that instead of Israelis and Palestinians?
I’m happy for his success but how can he be claiming that the products have wholesome ingredients when there’s glucose syrup in ? Modified starch ? Preposterous.
I admire him so much. I basically had no family didn't know my heritage but just recently I found out I'm Jewish. I'm over 50 still alone no family and pray I find love before I die. I just wish I knew more about my people.
CNBC needs to fact check all these "I started the business with $10,000" stories. Like Trump's business origination story, you will find most of them are fake or highly exaggerated.
One Kind bar cost about $3.50 USD!!! 💵💵💸... This is why this guy is rich and the poor are forced to go with unhealthier choices. Next time a company brags about doing well think about how many people are actually losing out. Maybe "Kind for the soul and Unkind to the wallet" should be this company's mantra.
I mean, I don't really buy into the whole "mission" of the company or his background story tbh... BUT you can always create your own bars, sell them cheaper and see if you can last in business.
I💞this KIND BAR is not too sweet and it Has All Good Ingredients. Nutrients and my Kiddos 9 and 10 yrs. They Love them. Bonus Why I Buy them its because it doesn't taste like Cardboard. Thank U Daniel💙💙💙😉
While I do like his energy, I feel the “mission“ element is a bit empty. It’s just a snack bar. If they donated some amount of each bar to a charity or something then maybe it would ring a bit more true.
