Ok
Yes I'm finally cool! Love your content sir!
@@ky333333333 thanks
Maybe, but only a piece of shit tries to bully me into it.
I get that Meta has some pretty shady decisions in the past. But they have done more to bring VR to mainstream then anyone else. That definitely deserves recognition.
Completely agree! Meta is a pretty terrible company I think we can all agree but they aren't giving up on VR which is commendable in my book!
Agreed. I'm also not a fan of Zuck and his decisions BUT Meta has been carrying mainstream VR on its shoulders!
The Quest is easily the most supported and updated gaming device ever.
@@HUMDUDEthey arnt even that terrible imo. All their services are free so it shouldnt really surprise anybody that they are making money of your data, you get free services in exchange.
I have rather that buisness model than paying for extremly overpriced products
I played VR 2 on PS5 I was soo disappointed on the resolution it's still blurry then I checked out quest 3 big difference on the quality and interface and I love the that there's a app you can use to watch movies in a theaters room it's been the best thing I've used meta quest 3 for before bed and the games are fantastic in there! I just wish the battery life was better but I've been using a cable that charges as I play extends the device duration for another 2 hours so.
I was a 'Ew. Meta. Pass.' person for a long time. My son kept begging for a Quest 2. I finally caved and got him a Quest 3 for his birthday last October thinking it would be something he plays a bit every now and then and mostly gathers dust. He has been hooked on it ever since. I made the decision to upgrade from the PSVR1 recently and due to Sony's seeming lack of effs to give about the PSVR2 and no backwards compatibility, I went with a Quest 3. It's been fantastic. My wife was feeling left out so I got her one too. Now it's like Ready Player One in my house on VR game nights. 😂
VR with the wife is awesome, so many co-laction games now too.
@VR_Ready Is there really? What are some good ones? Like can you play story modes together.
I gave my godson my quest 2 when I got a quest 3. I thought he would barely use it. He is like a beat saber god now. Hardest levels at the highest difficulty. He has the nerve to want to battle me. I have a hard time with easy on BS lol
@@frozenninja4030 that's awesome. Hope Meta throws more at us in the future. It's really the future of gaming IMO.
Fave games together?
I love how people will spend $1500 for a damn iphone and then complain pc game rig is too much. You can literally get a vr ready setup for the same as an iPhone. For now PC is the best visual VR gameplay currently. Now give it 5 years or less and we will have some awesome standalone headsets that not only can run pc style games directly or i'm sure this streaming service if done correctly could be a huge win. Meta has the money to make something like that work. As long as VR keeps moving forward i'm ok with whatever happens. Great Vid Matteo
I hope in 5 years we manage to stick RTX 4060’s or RTX 3080’s in headsets with ample cooling and a good cpu, running steam games on a standalone headset would be such a game changer.
Dude that's like saying "people complain about the price but then they buy a car" 😂 if you're using your VR as much as your phone, you're defo using one of them wrong
@@tanyabones215Yeah you beat me to it, a phone as a thousands times more use cases where it’s price is more than justified. It’s more than an entertainment device, it’s a tool, VR on the other hand is a very niche product, my question quest 2 literally sits on my shelf collecting dust.
The Quest 2 had kind of a perfect storm that I think really boosted their sales: Covid and the shortage of the new consoles. The Quest 3S will probably do ok at the lower price point, but I wouldn't expect it to do as well as the 2.
True but the Quest 2 will continue to get support for at least a few more years.they have taken it out of production but with such a large user base,I don’t think they will be in any hurry to completely abandon it.with that being said,I definitely expect to see more games coming that are exclusive to Quest 3 like Batman.I think they are going to want to push the Quest 3 hardware to the limit to make Quest 2 owners feel like they need to upgrade.I expect Quest 2 will still have plenty third party games to look forward to though
Thumbs up on the VR community @ 9:25. I love giving first experiences to kids in VR and watching them. I'm bringing VR to over 3k kids in a 6 week period. It's been amazing so far in Into Space: 1st & 2nd step. Not only that one but many others. I'm actually working on a project that is going to be super amazing when it comes out this year. It's something in Mixed Reality that no one has ever done before. That's all I can say. Love your videos, keep up the good work!
That sounds really cool! What are some games you'd recommend for kids on the younger side? I'm looking for games without "social" elements, bonus points if it supports private co-op.
@@dmon1088 Elven Assasins, Blaston, Beat Saber are really good. They can be private co-op. Also Among Us but, you have to have at least 4 for private.
We need MORE FOV already
for real dude nobody is focusing on FOV other than pimax and theyre such a mixed bag. i would trade our color passthrough on the Quest 3 for a much wider FOV any day. it increases immersion so much.
FOV is overrated. All high fov headsets have garbage edge to edge clarity anyways
I own the Pimax5KSuper and having that large FOV feels like you’re playing on Triple Monitors it most definitely makes a difference. I just recently got my Pimax Crystal Light and its FOV is similar to my Quest 3 but, because the image is so sharp and crystal clear. You feel like you gain more FOV in distance. Being able to see such detail even far away is amazing. If you ask me which one is better FOV or Clarity. I would go with Clarity. Best Visuals I have ever seen it is Magnificent!
Yeah Quest 4 should focus on FOV and eye tracking etc to squeeze more out of the chip.
@@deejnutz2068 I don't think edge to edge clarity matters. It's the fact that it'll feel more real without the black binocular effect we get. Edges aren't crisp in real life either, they're blurry.
YES! i asked for flat to vr to become an official thing and it's happening! That's amazing news!
I wanted to stay away from "Meta" as well being owned by Facebook and all their earlier shenanigans. The quest 3 and "Oculus" have really blown my mind tho. I also appreciate the constant upgrades through firmware updates. As far as I am concerned the Quest 3 on a PCVR setup with a dedicated Puppis router is the apex value VR right now. Yea it's a few thousand dollars but it's not 5 grand just for one headset and the gameplay is just unreal...
Love my Quest 3 ❤
Flat to VR becoming an official studio is great news. Really hope we see a lot of official VR releases.
PCVR streaming would be pretty great
looking forward to behemoth!!!!!
Such a thoughtful and well articulated video. Really got me in the feels at the end. I'd have to say I'm most excited about the quest 3s from an availability and ease of manufacturing perspective.
Great Video Matteo thank you for the updates.
If the quest 3s releases this year, I’ll definitely buy one for my wife since I already have a 3. Would be fun to have a VR game night.
I think Flat2VR Studios will announce the first game they are working on at gamescom in august.
I am most excited about the first games coming to vision pro. In the UploadVR Showcast there were at least two games also announced for vision pro.
I hope so,there are so many great flat screen games that would be incredible in VR.any of the old Call of Duty or Battlefield campaigns,Fallout 3 and New Vegas,Mass Effect,Witcher 3,any sim racer,Dead Space,Tomb Raider,etc..the possibilities are endless
I'm most excited about Metro Awakening. To prepare for this game, I'm reading the Metro series novels and have reached the final book. The worldbuilding and story are both incredibly captivating, making me even more eager for the game. Especially since it's being developed by the studio behind Arizona Sunshine 2, I believe the combat experience will be fantastic. Their previous shortcoming was not having an epic story, and choosing to create the Metro story will address that.
I agree 100%,Ive always been a huge fan of the Metro games.Metro Awakening is gonna be intense.the Metro games always had intense moments and in VR,it’s going to bring it up to another level..I can’t wait to run through that Russian subway system and start sending those mutants to hell
A polished and tinker free flat 2 VR experience would be incredible. I've tried UEVR a little, but low frame rates, tinkering, and bugs just detract from the experience too much.
Can't wait for Metro Awakening, Gunman Contracts, Behemoth, Alien, and hopefully this year fingers crossed Geronimo.
I’m ready to see some gameplay for the Batman game,I’m going to be highly disappointed if they drop the ball.
8:11 The flat to VR mods are so good. Did you know that Madison VR was done by Team Beef? Thats hands down one of the best VR games out in the last couple of years.... sure, the VR controls aren't super amazing but the ambiance, the sound, the graphics, etc... so insane.
Unlike to happen, but it would be really low latency solution to cloud gaming be it flatscreen or VR.
I work as Headend Tech for an ISP. If gaming services like GeForceNOW or Meta’s upcoming version had local servers at the primary Headends of in the various Metropolitan areas in the States, that would solve the latency problem.
We (my company) already have in the partnered in the past with Netflix to provide lower network latency to the local Metro area by housing servers just for our respective regions in our Headends.
So with that context, a similar partnership with Nvidia and/or Meta would be a great solution (in principle). In practice, I have absolutely no idea whatsoever if this is something ISPs and cloud gaming providers have any interest in doing.
This is meant more as a, “…TECHNICALLY, this would work”
Honestly, I am pumped about ANY updates regarding Quest 3! I hope they keep on evolving this system.
I've been using my Quest 3 more than ever. Dr. Beefs ports are really good and fun to play in bed before I go to bed.
Prey is great. Although only ok for people with vr legs.
@@casteldredge I’m assuming you are talking about games that require PC,right?
@@Thomas-cr2pt are you talking about the Prey game that came out last gen with the shape shifting mimics?I bet that would be amazing in VR…I gotta get a PC
@@garrettferrell6821no prey 2006. Its standalone dr beef port.
@garrettferrell6821 no, all of those run natively on the quest.
lol spread VR! We all want to see the industry grow. I just gave my old quest 2 away for free to get someone interested. Keep pressing onward my friends.
I’m thinking of upgrading to the quest 3 for my birthday should I? Also love the videos keep it up man 100k soon❤
The quest 3 is a nice upgrade but 500 is a lot. It depends on your budget
quest 3 is the goat rn
I can't wait for Contracters 2 and Onword 2 !!!!!!!!!
Does anyone know if there is a magnet attachment for the Quest 3 controllers like the Quest 2 had, please!!!
I may not love Meta but if they are willing to sell me an excellent VR headset at a loss I am happy to take advantage.
VR products will be used by more and more people, and the market is very good, which is why we choose to make various VR accessories.
I am looking forward to seeing Underworld Overseer as I could not stop playing Dungeon Keeper in the day
Underworld Overseer?is it based on the Underworld movies by chance?
@@garrettferrell6821 No idea, never seen the movies. It seems to resemble the flat screen game Dungeon Keeper by Bullfrog.
@@andrewthomson5266 I looked it up,it’s not based on the movies
Batman and Alien are my most anticipated at the moment with Behemoth following closely behind.
31 second CLICK
*EVERYONE* was bummed out after that "showcase".
I don't recall seeing even one thing that was new or exciting.
I'm not gonna lie about it to spare anyones feelings, it is what it is.
Also that "adapter" for psvr2 on pc isn't going to move any VR needles in any way that matters. PCVR needs *less* friction, not more. I love my psvr2, but I can't stand how Sony has handled it. They seem almost determined to ensure it fails with their baffling decisions. (imo anyways)
All that being said, there are a *lot* of promising games coming out in the next few months that I'm looking forward to, half of which are either AAA or pretty close to it.
@@jessekoepp3928 I agree,this showcase was weak af..I was hoping for a big announcement or 2..like wtf is going on with GTA:San Andreas? I need another Resident Evil VR remake,Dead Space 2,Mass Effect 2,Silent Hill,Witcher 3,Saints Row,classic CoD and Battlefield campaigns,Prey,Fallout 3 & New Vegas,etc
Im really excited for Metro:Awakening,Hitman 3 and Alien..I look forward to seeing some gameplay for Batman too.I want more good VR ports and/or games based off popular flat screen franchises like they are doing with Metro:Awakening
streaming PC games on the stand alone quest is still away off, but when it happens it will open up VR a lot
There have been two different sidequest solutions for it over the last two years or so, so it’s definitely doable.
People always doubt cloud gaming but I was one of the og Stadia users and it had a rough start but they got it sorted. I ultimately had a fantastic experience with stadia and loved it. I was heartbroken when they trashed it. I'm a firm believer that cloud gaming is the future. If I had stadia I'd still play it today.
I'm really excited for Wanderer. I wanted to get it a few months ago but the new one was just too close to want to drop money on the old version.
if it wasnt for my sim racing setup, I wouldnt be in VR at all anymore. Would be nice if Forza Horizon 5 would get VR support on pc. Hope modders step in one day
That is only part of the reason I want to get a PC to use with my Quest 3.I used to play Dirt Rally VR on PSVR1 and it was a lot of fun.I can only imagine how awesome a good sim racer would be in VR with the steering wheel and pedals
What's the release date for PSVR2 adapter?
I have all to play pcvr but i have some latency problem i have the best internet i can on my région, wifi6 but no optic fiber is offert . I can play but its not constantly good as the psvr2 for me in this condition and i bougth 2 cable for my quest 3 and just to bad that expensive cable is .one of them doesn't work and the other is to much massive and i don't want to break my charging port whit it . I want to see if my psvr2 on pc is more enjoyable for me or not but the cable on it is not a problem for me
Alien - Absorption - This line must continue.
Great video!!! I am most excited for Metro Awakening
Same,I’m a huge fan of the Metro series and spraying down a bunch of mutants charging at you in VR is going to be intense.I can’t wait to step into that Russian subway system
I used vr yesterday evening again too escape reality. It worked in pico 4
a Meta quest 2 is still cheaper than the psvr2 , for people don`t want to spend a lot of money on VR or just need to try; you can find it easily 2nd hand and sell it again if you change your mind, at least in Europe I see still a good request for those. I prefer the Meta quest 3 as owner I use it for fitness , Mix Reality exercises or games, enjoy some videos. I would have considered the PSVR2 if it was compatible with PSVR1 games but overall, it was just DOA
Really excited for into the radius 2, but it's worth mentioning that the developers said we should manage our expectations for that one out of the gate since it's going to be early access. It will be missing features and probably buggy.
yup
I have a quest 2 and honestly I only use it for SteamVR. I'm willing to give Meta's own stuff a chance eventually but not until there are many, many more games and the hardware is dramatically improved/less weighty. I am very much keeping an eye on the industry though and have a lot of hopes for the future of VR in the next decade or so.
I'm probably most stoked for Behemoth, with Batman as a close second. Iron Man was solid, so I have high hopes for Camoflaj.
I grabbed Wanderer on a steam sale a while back, but the remake got announced before I got to it, so I decided I'd rather play the updated version.
Been wandering the islands of Riven lately. The game is stunning and such a blast of nostalgia and memories
I know it's not dropping this year, but I'm super super super excited for the D&D tabletop VR game that's currently in development. Although, I'm worried about my life outside of VR because once I get that game, I may never take my headset off. 😂
hell yeah, me too
I am thinking to buy one but I can't decide between 128gb or 512gb. Which one should I pick?
If you are a collector of games. Like to play different games at the same time, and want to do more than just gaming go with the 512.
If you are very focussed in what you play and like, 128 is enough. Requires uninstalls though.
The extra space would allow for the loading of movies for watching when streaming is not available.
I personally got the 128gb and it can hold quite a few of games.if need be,you can always delete games you no longer play and redownload them later if you need to
Personally,I would get the 128gb and spend the rest of that money on games
yeah, a lot of them, but step by step. ZC2 is the first one to buy :D
I'm really looking forward to Wanderer Fragments of Fate and Batman. Though admittedly I am a little worried about damaging myself or my house when playing Batman.
Any chance Call of mountain will be playable on PCVR if PSVR headset comes to PC?
I don't see it happening but who knows
I stream pcvr every night. My community loves it
what service do you use to stream games?
Definitely need a tier system in VR headsets. Top tier 1000-1500. Mid tier 600-1000. Entry level 300-600.
Facts, I want a higher end headset
I just want a headset capable of wireless PCVR, that has an XR2 Gen 2 chipset for the best streaming quality, has OLED screens/lenses and is somewhat light (around 400-600 grams). What's amazing is that a headset that features all of this is not out and also not announced. Something like this is easily possible to put into a $700-$1000 device. And if it becomes somewhat of a succes you can try to drive the price down to $400-$500 in 6-12 months after release. And if you play it smart you'll probably be able to release a $300 one like 2 years after the release of the initial one with some improvements that's cheaper to produce and then alongside it a higher end model.
I feel like one's actually trying to make VR grow properly these days. Not even Meta's trying hard enough, if they were they'd have released a Q3 with an OLED screen. Or heck, their Quest Pro would've had an XR2 Gen 2 chip instead of being an extremely expensive deluxe version of the Quest 2. All of them are pretty much straight up trying to avoid the biggest issues in VR.
@@thenonexistinghero owning my one little small business my self, people are incredibly cheap tbh, it’s difficult to sell premium products, past $200 it’s a bigger financial decision, not that I would have the knowledge and things of meta but just my 2 cents, they have to make the headsets dirt cheap for people to buy them. Because there hasn’t been a era defining VR software that is a system seller. One day that will happen, a piece of software will be so intriguing the general public will have to buy
@@biggpapaclay There's enough people willing to invest some money into PC VR to make it grow as long as the right products are offered. The main problem is that what's offered simply isn't good enough for the price.
And I think the best way to make it grow is to introduce a proper standard, then work towards making that standard as cheap as possible. Most people don't want to be stuck to a cable when playing VR, but they also don't want it to feel like playing cheap mobile phone games. To make it grow you'll have to make it a magical experience. And that magical experience is a combination of lightweight & comfortable, wireless with good streaming quality and deep blacks. Also high enough resolution I guess but resolution isnt exactly an issue anymore.
For me personally I was very happy when I got my Pico 4 and got rid of being stuck to a cable with the Reverb G2. Could be more comfy I guess, but it's lightweight enough and the weight distribution is superb. Only real issues I have with it is the streaming quality being a bit too low and the blacks being on the greyish side. And well, the biggest issue by far is the greyish blacks. Miniled could have acceptable levels, but for VR is probably best to go with OLED. Currently I think the greyness breaks the immersion.
And I'm in no way an OLED fanboy or anything. I'd never buy an OLED TV because they simply wouldn't last more than 3 years before burning in with my TV viewing habits. I just think it's the best option for VR.
Anyhow, I'm just confused about headset makers. Not a single one seems to even be remotely interested in focusing on these 4 things in a headset. And if something like that became successful, there would probably also be more focus on the quality of streaming PCVR to strain the system less and perhaps even be able to develop codecs specifically for PCVR streaming. I think we could've been at this point already.
Arpara was able to create a 'decently priced' headset with a cable that had all the things I mentioned and were (supposedly still are) working on one that's wireless. Turned out to be 'somewhat' of a scam, but also not entirely. The wired version can be bought and gotten. The software experience is horrible, but it exist and was released quite a while ago. I have no faith in them actually delivering something proper eventually, but it's about the hardware existing and a small company was able to create it. Meaning something like this is very much technologically possible for the pricing window that I mentioned.
@@thenonexistingherosome of you are obsessed with OLED displays. Meta doesn’t suddenly not care about VR because they’re not releasing devices with OLED displays. They’re not perfect.
Hey, where did you get that footage of the walking dead saints and sinners from at 9:25?

@@Gamingwithmatteo311 Found it, thanks. I cannot wait for behemoth.
Behemoth and definitely Radius 2!!
Hi Matteo.. I have a psvr2,and I don't hate you 😃. Keep up the good work, and thank you.
Game streaming is pretty iffy in North America, but it's a lot better in Asia and Western Europe, as their internet speeds are much better. I think PCVR game streaming could work in those areas, and in North America it's largely region-dependent (or in my case, building-dependent -- if I lived next door I could get a 2.5Gb internet connection, but instead I'm limited to 30Mb because I live in a building from the 1950s).
When I heard that none of the PSVR2 features would be used while connected to PC via the adapter I was disappointed. Kind of makes it feel like a waste of money for me to buy that adapter. I won’t be using my PSVR2 for PCVR that’s for sure. It is strictly a console HMD for me. But, like you said, it is good to have options. 💯 facts!
What’s the song on the outro? Its dope.
I tried out some PCVR demos on Steam.
A few days ago, the "Metal: Hellsinger VR" demo was released on Steam, and although it has great visuals, gameply wise, it's too repetitious and doesn't seem to have much replayability. It got boring quick and it's not what I was expecting but the music is great.
"Tomb Explorer VR" is ok and something different.
"Agent Simulator" is fun.
"Cold VR" is nice but not quite as fun as "Super Hot VR" which is a better put together game than Cold VR in my opinion.
"True Boxing VR" seems realistic but the demo is seems a bit buggy.
I love the end where this guy is like "Other than my haters you've all been great!"
:)
I think honestly the biggest mistake Sony made was not pushing more developers to upgrade their games from the PS4 version to the PS five version when it came to the VR games available. Because the original PS VR had lots of pretty good games that were only limited by the hardware itself. Now Sony is put a lot more into going above and beyond with upgrading the hardware, but said that they’re leaving it up to the developers to decide whether or not they’re going to upgrade their game to match the new hardware that would’ve already given the PS VR to a much bigger library on lunch For people to try out even if they had played games before the upgraded hardware and controls could have changed the experience enough for them to be worthwhile playing again. Then Sony may have seen the return they were looking for and being convinced that it’s worthwhile putting a lot more investing a lot more of their time into, PS VR two, but they didn’t do that so now we are stuck with A had said that he’s kind of fallen off. It is a dead. Yeah, there is still stuff coming out for it but people of very quickly forgotten about it because they made something amazing and then didn’t do anything with it.
sony and valve are working together. They have been for 1.5 years, in trade of PS5 to PC games, and cross play in future dev modes on ps5 pro
I'll be getting a Quest 3 next week and even though I'm excited I can't decide what game to grt first. I'm getting Half Life Alex since its on sale on steam but I want to get one more. Anyone have any suggestions, I'm completely new to vr so there's nothing I've played
The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is an absolut must play, IMO.
Underdogs. A rogue-like arena fighter has the best contact feeling of any VR game I've played so far.
The story is also very captivating.
Blade & Sorcery is for those players that like a little fun. The story is not the best and the gameplay is fine, however, you'll spend more time than you'll admit with this one.
Pick it up if you're out of good story games.
If you're into old consoles and would like to play them again - Look for EMU VR. The absolut best enulator VR experience. And it's free. This one have had me entertained through 3 BoBoVR batteries several times.
Into The Radius 2 is about to drop. The first one is a highly regarded game and it's successor is meant to improve uppon a lot of it and introduces co-op as well. I'll be picking this one up for sure.
Dungeons of Eternity is a standalone VR game for Meta Quest. It feaures co-op and is an absolut fucking blast to play with friends. Even my GF loves to play it (Her VR experience has been Beat Saber for the most part).
Walking Dead:Saints & Sinners 1 & 2,Resident Evil 4,Population:One(it’s free),Arizona Sunshine 2,Boneworks,Ghost of Tabor,Medal of Honor,Zero Caliber(the sequel is about to come out too),Golf+,Into the Radius,Medieval Dynasty,Espire 2,Super Hot,Pistol Whip,Beat Saber,Trover Saves the Universe and After The Fall are all great options
I also recommend the Sea Band bracelets, they will help with motion sickness until you can gain your VR legs
What has to happen is a slimmed down version of a pro. I’d buy that in a second. I want to be able to travel easily with a higher powered VR and right now the only option is something bulky
Quest 3 isn’t that heavy, it’s a bit lighter than a quest 2 in some cases and is slim.
I retracted my hate for Meta when the billions they spent (terribly) began to translate into new VR users, keeping the blood flowing for future of VR, that's all that matters ✊️
I have a Quest 3 now. ITS a good one .

The only reason as to why I will not buy the PSVR 2 is due to its price point and the lack of support that they gave the previous PSVR I think what meta should do is a trade in scheme where if you trade in your quest 2 is you get up to £150 depending on the condition of your quest 2 for money off the quest 3
What's the zombie game at the end of the video ? Looks like something I would love to play
Saints and sinners
i now the last hitman vr was trash but i realy want a good hitman so im gonna support hitman vr reloaded
Hitman 3 should be much better as it is being remade just for VR.the last Hitman VR was an after thought built off the back of the flat screen version.
Avalanche Is definitely coming. Makes sense…
When is meta quest 4 coming out? I might aswell start saving for that
Probably in 2-3 years
Do you think Mighty Eyes' (Wanderer devs) VRAF plugin could make vr games much easier to make, enticing more devs to make more games, causing a boon in the industry?
Whaaaat? PSVR2 Community hates you? What the %$#@$#? Spread some love here instead!!!❤❤❤
PSVR 2 for PC is still a really good option because like.... HAVE YOU SEEN THE COMPRESSION ON QUEST???? I don't know if this makes me a graphics snob or something but no matter what I try with the quest, compression artifacts are too noticeable..
With a solid network, compression and artifacts are nearly nonexistent. I have 16 headsets, the quest 3 is finally there in terms of pc performance. It lots much better than my index and even prefer it over the bigscreen beyond
ever since i put a vr headset on i just knew i cant go back to flat screen gaming. never touched any big title on my PC since, its been VR game after VR game, and my PC was not even that good i had a ryzen 5 and a 2070 super, now i have a ryzen 9 and a 4070 super JUST FOR METRO AND BEHEMOUTH lol. using my quest 3 the only con i have is the FOV but you forget about it while playing. played
Half life alyx: my favorite game so far
asgards wrath 1: a very close second, i almost said its better than half life once but had to rethink it
lone echo 1: will get to lone echo 2 soon because the ending was too good
the list goes on forever i have so much to play i cant even keep up
The lighter weight of quest 3 is great.
I believe the only reason the PlayStation VR 1 caught any traction is because there was close to no stand alone market
Not only that but it was easily the most affordable way to get into VR,especially if you already had a PS4..when it came out your only other option were HTC Vive & Oculus Rift which both required a PC
@garrettferrell6821 lol exactly and then the regret came 🤣
Don't feel bad. I feel like on Twitter all PlayStation gamers PSVR or otherwise hate everyone who doesn't worship PlayStation. The PS5 and PSVR2 guys are cut from the same fanboy cloth.
You'd have to be in complete denial bc as a ps dude PS5 has been an absolute scam and waste of a console generation , the meme where are the games still applies when the best thing these new consoles do is play old games. where are all the ps exclusives at? I didn't even bother with psvr2 after the one and just switched over to quest
We need a really good mech game.
idk why there hasn't been a halo vr official that would sell
I was excited for Behemoth but the gameplay shown looked very slow and pretty basic....hope I'm wrong. Hopeful for Batman!!1🔥🔥
Just need more durable controllers. Drift stick happens too easily. 100$ for a replacement is a steep fix.
I guess I’m going to have to purchase a pc to play Half Life after all. Thought I might have a chance when I purchased psvr2. My internet connection sucks big time. Time to save up some money 💰
The meta link application for me WILL not sign in. Support is ghosting me now. Really put a damper on my PCVR with the quest 3.
Meta NEEDS cloud streaming to get VR to mainstream. We're passed the getting into VR stage. To keep long time users retention is a must. They have the first time user library established. Now they MUST focus on deeper and more mature games to keep the 🔥 from dwindling to ashes.
That would be a dream come true and I agree, that would definitely be a major selling point.that could lead to mass adoption and then more AAA developers would have more of an incentive to push out AAA flat screen sized games
@@garrettferrell6821 exactly my thoughts also. And rumors & talks of AVP getting into gaming now, a cloud service would ensure higher graphic content for all VR users(even pcvr). Meta needs to use $ for cloud service, chill on hardware for now, get quest 3 flawless to get the jump on competition.
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Cloud VR streaming with less than 300ms latency! Only $100/mo.!
lol, comes with a free trip to vomit city
my favorite game so far even though it is lacking in game play is survival nation . the actual game play is almost perfect the game is not great itself not really having anything to do but the system is great I wish we could get a 7 days to die like game with survival nation game play . I used to be decent at game design and I am almost fed up enough just to build a game with everything we are actually looking for. but I am a otr driver so I just don't have the time I used to . at least for me I just want a full open world rpg survival game that is smooth and let's you do what you want while having many different places and things you can do. like I kinda like into the radius but again its just lacking and I can't stay in too long because it is not smooth I don't get motion sick easily but some games have this jittery quality that is hard to notice best way I can put it is I can play survival nation for hours with no issues but 30 minutes of into the radios i start getting dizzy. I think it's something to do with camera placement and rendering that creates a slight jitter that I can sometimes notice. the walking dead doesn't have it either . so what ever they are doing needs to be used by everyone so vr is smoother . but yeah I just want a good full open world rpg survival game with or without a story that has the same thing as a good pc survival game like conan /7 days to die, a really immersive game
I pulled the trigger and bought a Q3. Now I have bought a 4080.
How is the 4080 treating you?
Set a new install away before a night shift. It's will still be hanging for the next step.

47yr old. It's becoming a reality. These years ahead with AI are going to be unreal. Best time to be alive. We are living this.
Settle down dude, my dopamine is off the charts
today I have installed android version of steam link on my Q3 and I am playing games from my steamdeck on big ass virtual vr screen. Today I' ve played god of war, ghost of tsushima, CoD WW2, and MGS 3 Snake Eater. Using steamdeck as pc and controller in one. And my net is not so great 100 Mb download and 95 Mb upload 4 ms latency. It was playable in good quality. The biggest + is that I save energy cause electricity bills in Poland are crazy... and I am always afraid of turning on my TV and PC.
Your internet is irrelevant to local streaming. The data never leaves your home router and it does far more than 100Mb locally.
yeah ure right! but my router wifi with 5 Gz frequency in wifi 6 standard is revelant cause 2.4 Gz did not not work too good. I've also tried GeForce cloud gaming on my steamdeck and that 100 Mb download was working fine with some titles but gamepass cloud on Quest 3 was not. I've only tried fortnite on gamepass cloud cause it is free and I do not have subscription
@@jbcpopis 2.4ghz definitely doesn’t work as well for streaming stuff. Not sure what the technical stuff is between 2.4ghz and 5ghz that makes such a big difference but it does.
I don't think the Quest 3 will sell massively considering 99% of games are also available on Quest 2. I still tend to buy most of my games on the Steam store just because i'll get the nicer version. Looking forward to some standalone quest 3 games like Batman since it would be nice to not always set up virtual desktop
The Quest 3S will sell more than Quest 2 very soon, since Quest 2 no longer being produced and 3S will be more affordable than Quest 3.
I used to get all my stuff on the Meta end because you almost always got the PC and standalone versions for one purchase. Cross buy isn’t very common these days though and the PC side of the store is basically dead.
@Thezuule1 I do like you can get a 25% discount from people's links but it doesn't work for me most of the time
@@86themadhatter27 I think those codes only last for like a week or so. There’s always sales in any case. Between Meta, Steam, and Humble Bundle sales I’ve been able to build a decent library without spending anywhere near what it would’ve cost outright.
Meta is really going to have to start pushing out some higher quality games that will push the Quest 3 hardware to the limits to get the Quest 3 to do the type of numbers the Quest 2 did
That AI thumbnail goes crazy
my biggest issue with meta is the quest exclusive titles.. like RE4 i get...okay... but assassins creed, ironman, and batman??? Really? These would be epic pcvr titles but you're gonna limit to quest only? Drives me insane!
Meta doesn't care about pcvr, it goes against their core business model. Unless they get a streaming service going there will be 0 attention paid to pcvr
Meta is just trying to sell headsets and games like Assassin’s Creed and Batman is how they are going to make them more appealing.honestly,I wish there was no such thing as exclusives in the VR gaming world but from a business standpoint,I get it
