      Your welcome; and you have an awesome vehicle.

      I've always wondered how well these engines ran under continuous load, hitting on every power stroke? Would it just overheat?

    • @UncleBarn1
      @UncleBarn1 Рік тому +4

      @@adjsaint91 the box shape of the engine is the water hopper. As long as there's water over the cylinder, the engine will not overheat

    I had no idea this existed. This is awesome! electric start too?! Automatically the coolest parade vehicle. Right there with the steam powered motorcycle.

    350 RPM? Hey, easy there, fireball!!
    But seriously, I love the fact that there are guys out there protecting these engines from the lowly scrappers.

    In Nova Scotia Canada, they call them engines make and break !!!

      My grandpa was showing me where he worked when he was 16, and they had an old steam powered engine sitting outfront, memorialized and he was saying how he was so happy when they replaced it with a make and break because he didn't have to show up at 4am to get the steam going.

    Epic toy, but can we see a video of it rolling down the highway?

    • @AquarianNomadic

      He said it's for parades.
      He rolls at 1 mph.

    • @SlickArmor
      @SlickArmor Місяць тому +1

      Top speed 10mph but he keeps it at walking speed for the parades.

      Forgive me pretty green on interviews, chain drive to t-style transmission then to 4 speed three-quarter ton 1949 Chevy transmission, starter bolts to trans, we have electric start!!!

    If you are going to have it at Baraboo I’ll have to stop and see it. I have the old gravel crusher and crane at the show.

    Magnificent. Your amusing but pointless toy succeeds in depriving the world of your much needed creativity. On your next project you perhaps add an aircraft engine to a pogo stick.
