If Those Skirmishers hadn't been taken off that hill then Union forces making the charge would've been harshly pelted in the Flank, taking much higher casualties than actually sustained. What makes Antietam the defining moment for the 8th OVI is the fact that after taking 40-50% casualties they actually regrouped and charged with the main force, being reported to have been the first unit over the fence and fighting to capture Sunken Road. The 8th was then appropriately named "The Fighting Fools" just because of how brainlessly dedicated they were to their cause, almost insanely so. And on Michigan's behalf we of course have Ohio to thank for giving them the name "Wolverines" which was used as a battlecry during the Charge of the Michigan troops at the Battle of Gettysburg, another minor engagement but with much prowess as they had been tasked with recapturing a vital position needed to ensure the Hook would not be compromised. I think when you set beside the childish rivalry, Ohio and Michigan are almost unstoppable together, as they marched together in the American Civil War, I'm not sure if it ever happened directly but sure as hell at Gettysburg there were Ohio and Michigan state troops fighting on the same side.
See now this is just a fascinating and awesome comment. Absolutely mystifying. (I’m from Illinois and have been to both states on numerous occasions...Michigan more than Ohio)

@@brittnay279 min coverage at least in Ohio, protects you from getting sued as an individual to a certain point. Anything after that you can get sued but if you can barely pay car insurance and don't have any money what are they going to sue you for? I think most people get full coverage insurance to protect their car more than worried about getting sued. Most people that get min coverage get it because if they get pulled over without insurance they will get a ticket and their car towed. It's all kind of a scam to be honest. Also in michigan 7 day insurance just enough time for you to register your car plates then next week no car insurance 1 out of 4 driver dont have insurance in Michigan I wonder why
The fact that’s it’s called “the game” gives it legitimacy to be the best sports rivalry. Ik there’s Red Sox-Yankees and Packers-Bears and Giants-Eagles etc but still
So Toledo is one of the most geographically centered recognized cities in the US to live in due it’s close proximity to dozens of different economic centers. TOL-EDO
I love that the Wolverines actually got their name from Ohio saying that michiganders were "as fierce as Wolverines". Also they covered this in third grade in Michigan.
tbh the wolverine is way too cool of an animal to be an efficient insult, they should've gone with the raccoon or something. Rat's also a classic option
@@FigurativeCritter No, I don't think that's it. I don't doubt you were told that in school, you know, in Michigan, but I'm pretty sure the intention was to compare michiganders to a vicious pest. Ferocity in what fight, exactly? Like the video says, there weren't actually any fights in the Toledo "war".
Michigander here, we definitely came ahead with the UP. as for the rivalry, sports might be how most people not from these two states think it manifests. In reality it is deeper than that. When a Michigander meets someone from Ohio, there is usually an awkward pause or some joke like "sucks to be you" or " I'm sorry". Now this is usually in jest nowadays as I have many friends from Ohio, particularly Toledo. It is a regional thing you can't understand if you weren't born to it.
Uhhh football was all like that from 1898 they didn't have uniforms dumb shit but i like Michigan as a state but in football you guys take stuff from 1890s football when everyone has the same uniforms which is dumb as shit
Here is a consideration : I have traveled this country and lived in 14 different States over those years and although we are all Americans do not kid yourself, people are distinctly different in different States but growing up in Michigan I have been a full part of that fun Ohio/Michigan rivalry but, having spent considerable amounts of time in Toledo and other cities these two States have the exact same people in them. You can take a person from Ohio and move them to Michigan and not a soul would notice....but take a person from New York and put them ANYWHERE and they would be noticed .
@@emily0071000 I know I’m from a different country, but, In Ireland there’s a huge divide and rivalry between north and south dublin. The two peoples are incredibly diverse. Almost like they are from separate countries, within the same county.

I'm from Ohio and can tell you that probably 99% of the state doesn't even know about this - I know I didn't. But it's interesting history behind the rivalry that's just always been there.
I'm from Michigan and don't recall having heard about this before. Not even in elementary school history. What that could be either my age or my location in the state. I've lived here all my life
As an Ohioan, I can confirm there's a lot of rivalries. You can't even wear anything that has a little bit of "Michigan colors" on it without getting yelled at.
I am from Flint ,but I love Ohio, every time I go there the people treat me good, I had great times hunting apple orchard on a family farm, thank you David for great times!!!!!!!DOUBLE D,:S FOREVER
Columbus was pretty nice the few times I visited...I mean the rest of the state is pretty boring though. Especially after you drive home from like Florida or something and you’re like damn Ohio can you please get the fuck outta my way.
I'm from Monroe Michigan, it's right above Toledo. We learned about this conflict in school. The only thing Toledo has that Michigan doesn't is nice roads with no potholes.
I'm from Michigan and we went to the capital of Lansing on a school trip in 5th grade and we learned about the Toledo War. Ever since then I like to bring it up in conversations about the Michigan/Ohio rivalry.
Im from Michigan and even people who don't like sports talk crap about Ohio all the time. I mean it certainly is no coincidence that our worst great lake we have is the one we share with Ohio ;)
epic food reviews Yes! Gotta represent the Motor City! 313 represent! Support the big three. Ford, GM, and Chrysler. I’m a big Detroit sports fan. Detroit’s economy is mostly manufacturing and automotive.
Im from Michigan, though im an MSU grad. I will say that more people remember the toledo war than you might think since we are taught it in jr high school, its just not relevant today since its almost 200 years in the past now. The state rivalry (at least in michigan) extends to many jokes about Ohio.
In the 1970s, there was a group in Ohio that wanted to build a tunnel to Canada under Lake Erie so that they didn't have to drive through Michigan... Also, Michigan has the largest and best system of State Parks, and in the summer they are filled with people from Ohio looking for a great place to vacation...
Michigander here. Other than being raised with a general distaste for our neighbors to the south, the only practical effect of the legacy is that there is a widely believed bias that Ohio officers will take any excuse to pull over a Michigan plate. This might be for the practical reason that people from out of state will just mail in a ticket with payment, but it still seems sinister.
When we had the old blue plates, I called it the Blue Plate Special, since I knew the Ohio troopers were looking for our cars on the way to Cedar Point
I have been pulled over in Ohio with Michigan plates on my way through...I just thought every state pulls over out of state plates, not just Ohio Oh and they said it was because I was following the person in front of me too much...I had to explain that I was literally following them home. Didn’t think that was a great reason to pull us over but we didn’t get a ticket so whatever
I live outside of Toledo and have to drive thru it to get to work. It's a frickin cesspool. I recently looked up the numbers, based upon the FBI's annual crime report (2015). After crunching the numbers, I discovered that, per capita, Toledo has a higher murder rate than Chicago. Mostly due to gang activity followed second by family members who apparently hate one another.
@@richardclifford003 What a shitty comment... Toledo has like 1/12th the population of Chicago at best. A few murders skews the numbers hard against it..... For example, say 50 people were murdered in Toledo, while 1,000 were in Chicago. Toledo has a population of 250,000. Chicago proper alone has over 2.5 million people. The metropolitan area is almost 10 million people. For Toledo that's 1 murder per 1,000 people. For Chicago that's 1 murder per 25,000. That SOUNDS like a better rate but the reality is FAR more people were murdered in Chicago than Toledo. It's 20x more. The best part about my example is that the numbers I pulled out of my ass are accurate to the number of murders each city has.
I live in Michigan...... on sports day at school once I wore a Ohio state jersey , the kids said it was illegal. I just wanted to wear my grandpa’s jersey 😭
I’m from Ohio and honestly I’ve never understood the “rivalry” we have. Anytime I’ve asked about why everyone hates Michigan I’ve just gotten a “because there Michigan”
Yep, if Ohio had given up Toledo, Wisconsin would have the UP, however, the current state lines might have been different elsewhere. The Mississippi might not have been the border for most of the state.
I am a resident of Colorado now but I grew up in Michigan. With the acquisition of the Upper Peninsula I believe Michigan got the better deal. (No offense intended to Toledo) The Michigan/Ohio State rivalry is epic though! My mom who was not a football fan AT ALL watched and paid attention to this game. Bless her heart ❤️ she did not understand football but that didn’t stop her from routing for Michigan!
I think the Upper Peninsula should become a state. It would name Yooper, have a legislature elected by proportional representation, a prime minister elected by a five man directory which would act as governor's, and be divided into 3 substrates in the North, South, and Equator.
Ivan the Great 2.0 I think there should be a North Michigan and South Michigan it would be like the Dakotas and the Carolinas. It would be the Michigan’s Dakotas and Carolinas
Michigan got the more valuable deal. Although the UP is closer geographically to Wisconsin. Now it makes sense as to why that bottom part of our shape is irregular.
I'm from Michigan and remember learning about this in elementary school. We still don't like Ohio but it's more of a friendly rivalry now. We do like Cedar Point though :)
419 born and raised! People really don't give Toledo the credit it deserves. Best minor league sports city in the country. Epicenter of mid-western college football. World renowned zoo and art museum. Beautiful historic neighborhoods. Great parks and rivers. Short drive to the beaches on Lake Erie and Cedar Point. Downtown area has gone through a massive revival over the last decade. Overall a fine place to live by me. Go Rockets!
Toledo is a very nice place. As a Michigander I like the Toledo Zoo a bit more than the Detroit Zoo. Mud Hen games were very fun as well. Michigan and N Ohio is MAC central. Go Eagles!!!!
Same here 419 all my life except for a short stint in Florida. Lived there for 3 months before I got so homesick that I had to come back. People say that Toledo is a bad place and the people are bad but at least I knew how to handle myself here and knew how to interact with the people. Oakdale elementary East Toledo Junior high and Waite high School back in the '80s thru the mid-90s. There's no place like home. Interesting tidbit of info; canal Street in Toledo still has parts of the old canal system underneath the road, hence the name.
like every city doesen't have historical neighborhoods, everyone claims there historic architecture is unique in the midwest but its not that different from other midwestern historic architecture (those main street buildings and a neoclassical city hall is extremely common)
@MrBeat. Just wanted to say this was one of the more comprehensive histories of the Michigan/Ohio rivalry. Stephens Mason is seldom ever mentioned, nor is his distinction of being the youngest elected state governor. Congratulations.
I grew up and still live on the border of Michigan and Ohio (just north of Toledo) and this little tidbit of history was taught to us in elementary school. Look up the "Lost Peninsula." Its a little piece of land that is only accessible through Toledo, but is actually part of Michigan even though it's only physically connected to Ohio.
PopPunkPerson and MSU is also so irrelevant they hardly ever get mentioned when it comes to rivalries. Ohio State is rivals with Michigan and Michigan is rivals with Ohio State. And MSU fans say they’re rivals with both but really nobody cares about the "MSU rivalry" as much as the real rival game.

I am a Toledoan (Maumee is pronounced MAW-MEE) and I’ve heard many stories about the Toledo War and this is a great video showing a bit of the history of this area.
As someone who has lived in both Detroit and Toledo, I find this one quite interesting. I far prefer Michigan. I've experienced a minority in each state with a ferocious dislike toward the other state.
It would actually be crazy if you did a video on Toledo. I know Toledo isn’t what it used to be, but we’re starting to come back, and Toledo has a lot of history to talk about tbh. Just something to think about.
I remember learning about the Toledo War back in the day although I can't remember if it was in school or if I just found it online one day. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this video. It's always interesting to learn more about the history of both Michigan and Ohio. They are the two states I am in the most! Great video!
I first heard about the Toledo war in the Van de Graph video about weird US borders (in that video he also mentioned about why the Kentucky Bend exists and why Alaska is cut off from the rest of America by Canada amongst others). The more I find out about US history, both political and geographical, the more hooked I get :) Great video as usual Matt :)
Thanks buddy. I didn't know about that video. I found out about Knowledgehub's video as I was making this one, and felt bad as he is actually from Toledo. So I reached out to him and had him read the script...and he did btw! Cody is a great guy.
I'm from Toledo and agree 100% that The Game and rivalry is still a huge deal even in 2024...and yes, the city will probably always be split 50/50 on which team you like (or more like 40/40/20 if you throw Notre Dame fans in there), because Toledo still has a huge Catholic population and alot of them are Notre Dame football fans.
Proud - likely biased - Michigander here: it would be hilarious to think Toledo was the prize piece of that deal. The UP is worth more socially and economically than Toledo. You betcha. Press F for Wisconsin
This is so interesting thank you so much for the post! I had no idea! I live in Grand Rapids Michigan currently but originally from Cincinnati Ohio. I love both equally but MI for sure won with having the UP
I lived in Toledo for about a year and attended the University of Toledo. Ended up dropping out and moving down south, but I liked Toledo. It was a neat city, if you know which parts you're best to stay clear from if you're an outsider.
Grew up in Michigan and I knew about this. I did not know a so called war broke out but I knew about the land dispute leading to the current state rivalry.
I was born and somewhat raised in Michigan (my family moved to Virginia but practically my whole family is from Michigan and lives there atm) anyways I have a friend who moved from michigan to Ohio and my first question to him was why and he gave me this face of disgust and said I have no idea, I wanna move back.
dick liddle I definitely wouldn’t be talking if I were you when most of the places in Ohio have chromium 6 in the water, which you are probably to dumb to know what that is. But I can cause cancer and it’s very dangerous. Flint has bad water the rest of Michigan doesn’t unlike Ohio
There was also another chapter in the rivalry in 2008-09. Some movie that was supposed to take place in Detroit, was filmed in Cleveland. So there was some snark about Cleveland being run down enough to pass for Detroit. Then some Cleveland rock band wrote a song called “At least we’re not Detroit!” as a riposte. This was around the time Detroit declared bankruptcy too. Plus the rivalry of Cleveland’s early rock scene in the 50s-60s vs. Detroit Motown. Oh, and despite everything bad with Detroit, at least our river doesn’t catch fire. Seriously for those who don’t know. The Cuyahoga River in Cleveland has caught fire many times
Eh, so our river caught fire, so we have shitty rappers (cough mgk cough cough) but one thing I will give Cleveland is that it has a wonderful sense of energy. Sure the East side can get a Lil rough in places, but we've also got Little Italy, The Flats (great place to go bar hopping), one of the largest cultural centers in the country, (between the culture gardens, museums, house of blues) as well as some great people. I mean come on if you can put up with the Browns for decades that has gotta show commitment.
Great series call How the state's got their shapes I saw on Netflix talks about this. I was born in Flint Michigan but have lived in Roanoke Virginia for about 25 years. I miss the cold weather and snow.
The real rivalry is probably Upper and Lower Michigan. Yoopers hate Michiganders. We even tried to become our own state, but then the lower half had to build the damn bridge.
I've always had the idea that Yooper Michigan is more like Canada with all of the Great Northern hunting land. I remember a crazy song Dr. Demento (Barry Hanson) used to run on his show every fall during deer hunting season, The second week of deer camp, dada, dada, dada, - - -
I'm from Michigan and I'll be honest I have nothing but respect for Ohioans. I know our states are rivals but I have a few friends from Ohio and they're pretty great people.
As an Ohioan who lives VERY close to Michigan I am very disappointed to let my Michigan friend have his moment this year. I will say the TENSION is real
Oddly you're missing one small thing. University of Michigan's little sister Michigan State University also has a heated rivalry with both U of M and OSU, creating a triangle of "who's better" given the sport of whatever season it is. All three schools are main stays of any given sport (football, basketball, baseball, hockey....ect)
Im from Ohio and I live very close to the border so there are a lot of Michigan fans near me and it makes me uncomfortable. Sometimes it is hard to sleep at night because the wind blows south and I can smell their putrid stench.
Interesting you never mentioned a word about General Anthony Wayne who commanded a Federal militia sent by President Jackson. A main thorough fare in Toledo is still there named after Anthony Wayne called the Anthony Wayne Trail.
Born and raised (and still live) in Michigan. Graduated from UofM in fact, and still work there and live in the same county as Ann Arbor. Ohio is about 35 miles or so away. Other than that one Saturday in November I don’t mind them so much. The people in the state who know about the Toledo War tend to live in Monroe County, Toledo was supposed to be theirs. In fact the Monroe County Sheriffs Office was involved besides the militia. Most of the rest of the state doesn’t care about that historical incident, it’s true. The rest of the state sometimes think the people “down river” (from Detroit, which would include Monroe) are a bit odd, lol! Unfair stereotype, but it sticks. Yoopers (those from the upper peninsula) care about it too, many resent being stuck with us lowpers as a result of the Toledo War. They tend to side more with Wisconsin or Illinois (lots of Chicago sports fans!) than Detroit and the rest of Michigan. It’s a different place. I love visiting up there, living up there would be tough! They get like 20 feet of snow in the winter! Oddly enough we tend to get just as cold (if not colder!) as it gets up there but we get way less snow in SE Michigan (lake effect snow rarely reaches this far.)
Michael Pomorski Go Blue! I live in Michigan as well! In the Metropolitan Detroit area. Here’s a fun fact: The majorly of Michigan’s population lives in the metro Detroit area. Roughly around 4 million people. That’s Oakland, Wayne, Macomb counties. Ann Arbor has a lot of people. My brother-law attends UofM. Ann Arbor is my favorite city in Michigan. I love the beautiful Huron river.
Puppy Cuteness Technically I live in the Metro-Detroit Area (Ann Arbor and it’s surrounding area is the western edge of Metro-Detroit, we watch Detroit stations to get our weather, etc.) I can be in Detroit in an hour really, I just don’t go there very often.
I heard about this war from one of my colleagues when I worked for the Copper Country Mental Health Center at Houghton in Michigan's Upper Peninsula between 1988-1991. I was wondering if either of you would make a video about it, and here it is.
As a Yooper, being part of Michigan sucked for us. Now, being connected only by a bridge, we have to be associated with Detroit and Flint. Plus the UP is the better half
Karl Mohr there isn’t anything wrong with Detroit lol except the crime rate. I live near the area where Grosse pointe cuts off into Detroit...great place. But I respect your opinion.
@@tatiannajefferson3480 Yeah the crime rate unfortunately is a major problem in Detroit. Big enough for people to think Detroit is a crap town. While there are some nice places downtown Detroit, the rest is crap!

@@beezuslabs3332 lol you're 100% right about that democrat comment. Also thanks for being so cool with your reply. Back on topic... that's my bad. I just been burnt by them a lot. I was born and raised in Detroit and watched family after family and generation after generation get stuck on their welfare and basic dream of waiting for the government rescue. Lots of things are getting better and many of the people are now crying about gentrification and how they will no longer be able to afford to live in certain areas due to lack of income. Belle Isle is way better than it was, downtown has been great for almost two decades (I recently stopped working down there, but I loved it). I normally believe in a balance of democrat, libertarian and conservative ideas/policies, but the left is just going way too far left these days... as in free health care for illegals and zero boarders... if they have money like we can help some of our homeless. Now they are trying to offer reparations... they always offer pie in the sky to our people during elections and disappear afterwards, it's funny as Malcolm X was saying this in the 60's. I still hear your point regarding my comment. Thanks again for being cool about it. I love Detroit, but we can't hold to the same policies that got us in this mess... we need our people to stand on their feet and stop waiting for the government to rescue them because it's not coming. I know it's not that easy, but waiting hasn't helped. I hope you had a great 4th and have an awesome weekend.
from michigan and living in michigan is the best we have everything except a huge thriving city with over a million people but i love how michigan is laid out
Being a Michigander I'll begrudgingly give you that one, its not even a rivalry anymore, its turned into a last game scrimmage for Ohio State, before they go to the BCS Playoffs.
Dewayne Coleman It will always be a rivalry, because it transcends sports. Regardless of how lopsided the rivalry has been in the last decade, it is still the greatest American sports rivalry of all time, and deep down I want you guys to kick our ass again, just to fuel the hatred.

Most people that get min coverage get it because if they get pulled over without insurance they will get a ticket and their car towed. It's all kind of a scam to be honest. Guess it depends what end of the stick your getting. Don't quote me on anything.
Also in michigan 7 day insurance just enough time for you to register your car plates then next week no car insurance 1 out of 4 driver dont have insurance in Michigan I wonder why

@@quasicroissant I don't think they were intending for it to be an insult so much as an actual description of their ferocity in a fight.
I used to like both Ohio State and Michigan because they were both very interesting football teams and I don't know who to pick honestly for football.
Yea we were taught this in elementary school in Michigan
Michigander here, we definitely came ahead with the UP. as for the rivalry, sports might be how most people not from these two states think it manifests. In reality it is deeper than that. When a Michigander meets someone from Ohio, there is usually an awkward pause or some joke like "sucks to be you" or " I'm sorry". Now this is usually in jest nowadays as I have many friends from Ohio, particularly Toledo. It is a regional thing you can't understand if you weren't born to it.
This may not be relevant, but did anyone notice the 1897 Ohio football uniforms look like old timey prison outfits???

I have traveled this country and lived in 14 different States over those years and although we are all Americans do not kid yourself, people are distinctly different in different States but growing up in Michigan I have been a full part of that fun Ohio/Michigan rivalry but, having spent considerable amounts of time in Toledo and other cities these two States have the exact same people in them.
You can take a person from Ohio and move them to Michigan and not a soul would notice....but take a person from New York and put them ANYWHERE and they would be noticed .

Michigan is more like parkland
Michigander here. Other than being raised with a general distaste for our neighbors to the south, the only practical effect of the legacy is that there is a widely believed bias that Ohio officers will take any excuse to pull over a Michigan plate. This might be for the practical reason that people from out of state will just mail in a ticket with payment, but it still seems sinister.
Docility has its honor.
It's because the highways are unsafe with you stuck in the fast lane refusing to go to right lane with slower traffic when possible.
When we had the old blue plates, I called it the Blue Plate Special, since I knew the Ohio troopers were looking for our cars on the way to Cedar Point
We have the same bias down here.
I have been pulled over in Ohio with Michigan plates on my way through...I just thought every state pulls over out of state plates, not just Ohio
Oh and they said it was because I was following the person in front of me too much...I had to explain that I was literally following them home. Didn’t think that was a great reason to pull us over but we didn’t get a ticket so whatever
When Toledo is supposed to be the big prize, did anyone really win?
I kid
bahahahha
Yeah Michigan did. U been to Toledo?

The river is green and the tap water smells like fish in Youngstown.
Eh, so our river caught fire, so we have shitty rappers (cough mgk cough cough) but one thing I will give Cleveland is that it has a wonderful sense of energy. Yoopers (those from the upper peninsula) care about it too, many resent being stuck with us lowpers as a result of the Toledo War. @@tatiannajefferson3480 Yeah the crime rate unfortunately is a major problem in Detroit. Big enough for people to think Detroit is a crap town. Ten years ago I was living on the east side, Vandyke and 7 Mile. Not a good area to be. A lot of people who try to stick up for Detroit will always bring up downtown. While there are some nice places downtown Detroit, the rest is crap!
Wooo the “the game” shoutout was amazing lol
Cleveland and Detroit are competing for the most rundown depressed city. That's the reason for the heated competition
Exactly and both have been largely ran by democrats and their crap policies since the 1960's. Crap schools, free handouts, taught to be the victim and more - and they keep using the same methods as if they actually work... actually maybe they are working as intended.
Im from Ohio and Cleveland is known as the mistake by the lake
Sixth SITH you seem like a great dude to chill with
Detroit is rebuilding pretty well atm with a lot of artists putting money back in and factories popping back up
But instead of checking on whats going down you’re blaming those damn democrats
Good on ya
Detroits making a comeback
Now Flint.... thats the rough spot here
@@beezuslabs3332 lol you're 100% right about that democrat comment.
I live near the Straits and I can tell you that every summer, Ohio is still invading us.
And the 3rd Saturday of every November OSU defiles #SU!
from michigan and living in michigan is the best we have everything except a huge thriving city with over a million people but i love how michigan is laid out
Ok Michigan maybe got the better deal, but Ohio definitely got the better football team!! Ha!!
Being a Michigander I'll begrudgingly give you that one, its not even a rivalry anymore, its turned into a last game scrimmage for Ohio State, before they go to the BCS Playoffs.
Nope
Dewayne Coleman
It will always be a rivalry, because it transcends sports. Regardless of how lopsided the rivalry has been in the last decade, it is still the greatest American sports rivalry of all time, and deep down I want you guys to kick our ass again, just to fuel the hatred.
Michigan is a much better football team you ohio dumb a**
Oh well f*** you too#go blue
MICHIGAN!!!! 💙💛 We definitely got the better deal! I remember learning about this in school
The upper peninsula was supposed to be Wisconsin’s lol. And Toledo litterly almost has the same population as the upper peninsula.
I think you mean MICHIGAN!!!!💚♡
OHIO!!!❤️💙🤍
Being from Michigan we were taught about the way in Michigan history class in middle school. In fact, we used to say that the directions to get to Toledo were, 'south 'til you smelled it, east 'til you stepped in it.'
What do you get when you get 32 ohioans together? A full set of teeth.
Namdron Kcaz true
lol
You know why they call it a toothbrush instead of a teethbrush? It was invented in West Virginia.
Reminds me of polish jokes from Detroit where polish have their own neighborhood.
As a native of southern Ohio, this has zero bearing on my life.
Kentucky border 😂
I live in Northeast Ohio. And oh boy you don't want to mess with PA. Although we whoop their ass every damn time.
I've said this before, but if each state were their own country, it would be interesting to consider which states would've been at war with eachother
As a natural-born Michigander and a history teacher to boot, I’m ashamed to say this is the first time I’ve ever heard of the Toledo War. But yeah, Ohio is stupid. Everybody knows that. Love the video...
I didn't know you were from there! What part?
