- raking in billions for his various firms with government contracts and poats on the back from parliamentary friends- this is the squalid corruption more accurately seen in the southern mediterranean of the 1980s or in russia. It is shocking in the UK.

Starmer won't need to raise our taxes, he just needs to stop all this.
He wouldn’t dare.😂
I strongly suspeact he will.
@@hilarykirkby4771 I may not trust the Labour Party entirely. But yes! I agree with you on your strong suspicion that Starmer would certainly stop the nonsense! At the very least!
It makes me feel impotent. Staring into their depravity and corruption through a glass wall, silently screaming as they laugh amongst themselves, not noticing, nor caring about the wrongdoing or that we know.
Perfectly said Paul.
I feel the same, watching from Spain which perhaps makes it easier, but I have family in England and they are finding it tough going. I think we are impotent on the larger scale, but that makes it even more important that we rise above it and live as best we can wherever we are. I think it counts. Help is not going to come from above. We have to be the future.
£14 billion on the VIP lane wasted alone. But we'll recoup it from the poor and vulnerable it's the Tory way.
Its much much worse, of the £87Bn extra claimed for the NHS it received just £17Bn, the other £70Bn is the PPE/ test trace etc fraud the government passed to their friends.
They are all greedy and rotten to the core.
The Tories, the nasty greedy party.
Why are they getting away with this ,they are going after the disabled the carers ,it's just despicable something has to be done the corruption is shocking , the billions that has been taken from us is unbelievable and they have to go after the most vulnerable why aren't they facing charges .
Prof, this kind of activity or corruption has been happening in the Tory party for decades. This is not a recent phenomenon
This is why I have never trusted the tories. They only have thought about themselves and the rich, its just years ago they use to hide it so well, but now they do it right in front of our faces, knowing they will get away with it and that's no thanks to the right-wing press/media.
Too true, just look what happened to the values of the public assets that were sold off cheaply in the 80's by Thatcher, within days of the sale, sometimes just hours later, the private companies controlling the former publicly owned assets, doubled in value. The Conservative party have always been in league with big business, but now the chickens have come home to roost, they are looking for scapegoats.
Right, these are the ones we know about, they are all at it.
Yeah but before they at least tried to cover it up a little. What they are doing now is so blatant
@@richardmunoz4771 The desire for a quick buck led him into the arms of some seriously dodgy customers. British politician of the 1960's -1970's
Legalised robbery, treasonous.
All of them should be charged
Forced to re pay the full amounts, too.
To give Cameron his due. 14 years of Austerity and five Prime Ministers not forgetting to mention thier legacy in office!
Mind you, was it in October 2021, 265 MP's voted to allow the water companies to discharge raw sewage into England's clean and pleasant rivers and seas.
Some people say it with flowers!
The Tories have had a plan every year to fix the sewage in our rivers problem, and they have shouted loudly about having those plans, strangely those plans never come to anything.
@@matthewn1805The plan is for somebody else to pay for every problem which the Tories have made for their own benefit.
The rot started with Thatcher
@@ilokivi According to the Tories they never make mistakes, if anything goes wrong that's someone else's fault.
@@ilokivi
They cannot admit that mass privatisation has failed.
Ditto with their ideas on trickle down economics.
The national debt has more than doubled since 2010, from 1.3 Trillion to 2.7 Trillion. Where has the money gone you ask, well ask people like Mr. Nash, Mrs Mone etc.
We've gone back to a state of 18thC rottenness
The entire world has
Rees Mogg must be in his element.
Time for Labour to show a ruthless streak!!!! Time for study and revelation of the size of robbery that has been perpetrated.
It's moan. Rotten to the core. You sound surprised.
We can blame these private companies all we want, but it was the ministers in government who gave them the contracts to provide shoddy public services, using taxpayers' money to guarantee their profits and dividends.
Watched a Politics Joe video about Thames Water yesterday and it turns out that two of the top bosses there used to be top of the tree with Offwat. It's a joke and we are all paying for it only I'm not laughing and it isn't funny.
And the Tories will trot out their 'due dilligence' crap. I recall that phrase being used when Arcuri was given money, the whitewash carried out by more than useless Nicky Morgan(strangely not long after she was given a peerage by Pinocchio Johnson). They told us 'due diligence' applied when giving Seaborne Ferries a contract, despite them having no ferries.
I am, I have to say, a little shocked by how contracts are given to companies in which ministers hold major shares. To friends of ministers, or indeed to ministers themselves. I might not even say a word if the prices they charged the state were the same or lower than normal, and the quality of what they provided was OK. But this is really shocking. It would look bad in a third-world African nation.
Marples as Transport minister under Macmillan made his construction firms shares over to his wife than gave that construction company massive road contracts whilst screwing the Railways over, I, my father, grandfather, great grandfather worked on the Railways-than fled abroad with the money taking the shares back for himself off his wife. It, the Tories, are not called the 'Old Corruption' for nothing.-Andrew Marr referres to it in his book on the history of the UK. But we knew it direct on the Railways.
We ALSO knew it in All of the Nationalised industries, too Under Thatcher and Major....5 family members in Gas/Electricity/Electricity generating board etc....All redundant after YEARS of Loyal service, Watched once Ethical and Fully Functional Public Services, Raided and Asset-stripped by The Tories...Electricity Showrooms for instance in the South, sold off to A Tory
Donor for £1 each.......Completely Corrupt ALLWAYS were and are.
If I remember at the time the media were more concerned about Marples leaving his wife and taking his, female, parliamentary secretary with him when he did a a bunk. That was a bigger scandal, according to the gutter press, than the millions he defuaded the taxpayers of. 😊
Rotten to the core. The Tories always have been.
I can't believe this is a remotely novel revelation to the good prof. The stench has been present and growing for generations.
It is nice that there are still a few idealists and decent souls in the world.
Yes Professor but I think you will find that its colourful lanyards that are the real problem in this country.
And the Cons / Tory party have the audacity to look for another five yeas...
LET’S GET HIM!!!!
This is all that last minute raiding of the till before the cops show up to throw them all out of the took shop that I’ve been siting examples of. I said it would get more and more pervasive as the election looms. When we ask why Sunack won’t call an election and get his humiliation over with, this is the real answer: Access to the till.
Pigs., with their snouts in the trough, what else was to be expected professor?
Thanks multiple times Prof Tim, for exposing this stinking level of corruption from those who are supposed to act for the people of this country. It's so depressing yet most of us including me, seem to be lacking in any ideas on how to hold these culprits to account
Sounds about right!😅
Why would you expect anything else from these money grabbers. plus there is no law to stop them.
We , ordinary folk, will just have to keep eating cake.
One way you can stop it dont pay your taxes
Just par for the course for the Tory party in 2024,
2024? They've been doing this for ever. This is the stuff we know about.
Does it surprise anyone
Herbert Hoover was a prime example following 1929 if we are looking at precedents -- never trust a conservative politician with the economic crisis -- only austerity will you get
Lord Cameron of Corruption.
Well said young man, a considered accurate monologue
Mrs. Thatcher, you can perhaps be compared to Pandora. You might have intended well, but you opened the box of privatisation. Would you be ashamed if you were to see the country today?
I got up earlier today so I could hate them for a bit longer. Despicable, the lot of them.

You have a wonderful way with words.
A tyranny of rot,in the House of Commons
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the video learn something from you the truth Margo 🎉
Voters have allowed this to happen so must bear some responsibility.
A simple choice to face, do they allow it to continue in plain sight or try to stop it?
How does ticking a box stop the corruption, pray tell?
I`m in Scotland where we haven't given the Tories a majority since 1955 so take zero responsibility.
UK citizens do not live in a democracy so look to FPTP rather than blame gullible voters for the solution to our problems.
I have no idea why others continually like to reshape something someone wrote to include what they think they’ve read?
Nowhere in my entire post have I ‘blamed’ anyone.
Please read again to understand and don’t twist my words to include things I categorically did not say.
You’re welcome.
Hear hear!
The lot o them r out 2 line there own pockets 😂
Some people have done splendidly for themselves, maybe that's the plan that the PM talks about?
What's wrong with legislators owning parts of companies which are given government contracts? Is it by definition corrupt? Perhaps we should only be ruled by traffic wardens and infant school teachers.
Tip of the iceberg springs to mind 🤬
And there is more to come...
time for long prison sentances,, no wonder there desperate
THEY can't help it prof - it's in their DNA
So what's new? Remember Marples? As minister of Transport he appointed his mate Beeching, to instigate the dissection of our Railways. Marples, the man who made his money from building roads, the man who oversaw the big motorway building projects.
And politicians wonder why everyday people scam others! Hmmm they've been shown how to do it by the best teachers! 🤷♀️
Conflict of interest or embezzlement? Both work for the Tory play book.
We have a minister for common sense ha!
You mention ‘’Common Sense’’ Ethster McVey is the minister for common sense…. Maybe she could do…. Oh! Hang on.
💰💰💰
So who polices corrupt politicians ?
One word
Nepocleptocracy
This trolls the depth of greed and contracts for the public school pals, think there should be court cases on the horizon.
As I wrote to my (Tory) MP some months back: his wretched party has become synonymous with excrement. The great stink used to emanate from the Thames, and to an extent, thanks to water privatisation still does; but an even greater stink originates from the big house just beside it. Grifters and snake-oil salesmen (and women) in both the Lords and Commons. The seven circles of Hell are too good for them!
Vennels also headed for the NHS , they know where they can get the most for the least through the old boy network.
This just shows that Sunaks plan is working. Let's hope there is some public money left by the time of the GE.
Revolving door: Tory MPs/business with taxpayers money oiling hinges and pockets.
Fleecing the public purse is What torys do !!!
An Indian sounding chap rang me this morning, not sure if it was Sunak, he said he wanted to offer me a discount, he was a scammer of course. Fraud is the UKs number one offence now. It costs us billions. Did Starmer promise to fix that?
Not surprising really with the Tories 😂😂
I hold disgust at this! This individual is almost as disgusting as Baroness Moon ! So this is another one who undermined the NHS and Care Communities - unfortunately the situation that was provoked by David Cameron in this instance. This has encouraged the loss of the lack of sense in recent times in Ministers and Prime Ministers! I'm fairly disgusted with that!
Sovrintee , innit. What’s good for the goose an’ all that.
Baroness Mones name has always been pronounced like moan here is Scotland professor..
In Scotland.
It is like Moan.
Of course it matters.
Common sense at last! I started to think I was one of very few members of the public that truly understands the significance of royalty inheritance and birthright. It’s so odd that the public who profess to support royals, actually do not have a clue that Harry and Meghan are royals by virtue. We were taught this at school Year 7 history. For those that missed the lesson, there are some great children’s books in the library that explain all this!
look at gary waterman
MORE Rot? Like, have they all got ash dieback or something? 🌲
I suspect that it is pronounced, 'moan'.
As in "Oh, nooo"! 3:02
The NHS needs software, it has enormous communications problems between 1.2 million employees, you can't manage it without computer software.
That is a train wreck of a title
No surprise 2 me 😂
Snouts in the trough
Can you prove things did not go the way David Cameron wanted. I have often thought Cameron wanted Brexit but never wanted to say he did. He was as we know the person that pushed for a referendum and who set the people responsible for the leave campaign. And the person responsible for the Remain campaign. Of which there was very little.
What’s coming next 😂
You seem surprised by this. Why?
I am surprised at your naivety regarding the scale of corruption and greed within the Tory party. This happens every time they are in power, greed is the Tory mantra.
ME A CHRISTIAN ✝️ LOVE CHILDREN AND LOVE ANIMALS GOD GAVE THE BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS TO US SO PLEASE HELP THEM Margo 🎉🎉
Can you do a video on something that is going oke within the Conservatives?
Its amazing, that you think the Country went to dogs under May (It did & before that)& then before I wrote this comment, then you list a few of Cameron's detailed failing's. You also know where to find David Cameron though.. He's in the shed where they keep the rest of the tools (Credit Nick Abbot-LBC Fri/Sat night). Cameron,Osborne, Clegg is where it all started. Hunt (The Grim reaper of the NHS) started the decline of the NHS in 2010.
Clegg has an awful lot to answer for. He knows never to show his face again in Sheffield after loosing in 2015 & hopefully Miriam Cates will get the same message from the people of Stocksbridge & Penis-tone 🤣 in 2024/2025.
Lets not forgot that its Cameron & Osborne that started the "Cosy relationship" with Russia while you were still a member of the Conservative party Tim.
Cant believe it was only when May became PM that Prof Tim thought that was the line he wasn't going to cross regarding being a Conservative member.
Shocking?😂
But Raynor will not tell us about her house tax. That's more important ;-)
I doubt the sleaze coming from central parliament will be any less if the Labour party get into power. The days of MPs having integrity and only and solely concerned with serving their constituents and the country is over. Instead of having some rotten boroughs we've now got a rotten parliament!
I doubt they will be as corrupt as the tories, the tories get their money from wealthy business donors in exchange for favours. Labour get their money from members subs and trade unions.
Rubbish.
Typical Tory lover, wants to blame the Labour party, despite the fact that it was Thatcher who started it all by selling off the public assets to all and sundry, with no care given to who they were selling them to, they even promised that services would improve and the costs and bills would decrease, where are those promises now?
As we move away from Christendom it's not surprising, sadly, that all of this is happening.
Rees-mogg - devout Catholic so he says - "Iesu Grist" himself would be overturning tables in his anger at the state of hypocrisy within the so - called Christians
