This is great info! I just bought a 2024 defender limited. Does your steering wheel/column have up/down play? Trying to gauge if it’s worth getting looked at or if it’s normal. I’ve owned the machine for 8 days.
@@brianpiethe5672 thanks for the feedback. When you say up and down play, do you mean once it’s locked in place? Because there’s a lever on the side of the steering wheel that lets the wheel go up and down.
@@americandream_89 yes, tilt is locked in place and wheel still has up/down jiggle. It’s not much but enough to rattle and vibrate when on uneven terrain.
Haven’t talked to them about it. So I’m not sure. I would honestly think they wouldn’t come in until December-February because I’ve got friends still waiting on 22s and 22.5s
Give me a link for the nerf bars on this machine. My limited single cab is supposed to be here in January. I'm waiting to put nerf bars on it when I get it.
Without looking at one I can’t remember but it should show on your instrument cluster when it’s locked in. You do not want to drive on the road locked.

I have the 2024 Defender Limited, great machine only couple complaints, number one complaint why didn’t they put door locks in the doors!

@@brianpiethe5672 I can’t say I’ve noticed that with our units. Could be loose bolts and worth checking. Might be a simple fix
How do you shut the defroster off? My window is always fogging up from the air conditioner defroster
You have vents below the windshield with flip covers. Although they don’t fully restrict the air flow. So at points it will do that.
Any updates on when you might get your 2023? I have not heard a thing and my dealer does not seem to know anything about when mine may come in.

The ones on this defender are from canam directly. You will need to call a dealer to get them.

Yes. It’s a little harder to remove than a regular one. Because you need to unplug a wire.
