Imagine hearing all the sirens at once.
Im screwed if that happen, its either all of these come at once including a nuclear attack.
@Heela Tokhi yeah no shxt
mellowed let’s not hope that happens ....EVER
Unknown imagine, just Jesus fuck, just wow imagine
Fuck. Shit. Aww god damn it. It's a nuclear tornado that causes floods....
it's kinda scary that people went on snap chat to complain instead of getting inside...
N A T U R A L S E L E C T I O N
Darwinism
idiots
that's a mistake they will only make once
In Oklahoma we hear these all the time, it becomes silly to take cover every single time
idk why people think when the tornado sirens stop that the threat is over. People storms do not go away in 3 minutes
Big brain time.
and also, sirens dont sound for like an hour
Lol 💀
I mean some can but that's incredibly rare.
Tornadoes stay in your area for at least 15 minutes
They have to replace nuke siren with "TACTICAL NUKE INCOMING"
*B00 D££P B00 D££P B00 D££P* *B0000000000000000000000M*
*BOOOM*
Name surname you forgot it's over
Or
*"abandon your shits, we're doomed!"*
No one would take them seriously then
should be a person screaming NUKE!!!!! TORNADO!!!!!!! FLOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
why did that make me laugh???
PNB Productions same
TACTICAL NUKE INCOMMING
Some digital sirens do that
You whatch to many storm movies
Most horrifying in my opinion is the air raid siren. I hope to god I never hear that go off.
@Jason Voorheese cause hes a pussy
Same here.
I live in a rly small town, we have an air raid siren that they sound everyday at noon(to test)
Sarah Bomar they’re all air raid sirens/tornado sirens. The difference is whether or not they’re mechanical or electronical.
Try chicago
The sirens are controled by a soundboard lol
no... they arent
@@bitchlasagna4720 r/woosh
Mam just imagine hearing this in ww3
@@bitchlasagna4720 I know about sirens, there are electro-mechanical sirens (using rotors), and electronic sirens (analog electronic sirens are sirens with capacitors and a soundboard, and digital, which is the same thing but no capacitors), these are Whelen's, so they are electronic sirens, so they are running off a soundboard.
@@SouthFLExpressLanes i know, its just an old dumb comment i said while having a stroke
hmm Tornado Warning or Chemicals in the air..
oh lord
TaeTaeChai indeed
In general GET THE HECK INSIDE AND TAKE COVER
hmmm, let's find out
*walks outside*
oh it's just a nice day with sirens going off.
1 month later
sir, you have 4 days to live due to exposure to a hazardous chemical a month ago.
Both bad and usually its a tornado but chemicals in the air are alwahs tyere from buildings and just chemicals they put in le sky
Good progression of disasters here:
Tornado
Flash Flood
*THERMONUCLEAR ARMAGEDDON*
zachary scott should flash flood and tornados switch?
r/MADLADS
WHAT THE.OK ITS SCARY AND 2ND I heard a flash flood siren while I was on a vacation
Am from the UK so
No one: hmm i think the tornado sirens are going off
Me: SiReN hEaD
Laughing here in Germany. We have siren checks every month
C Klasse 55 AMG I swear I have never seen any sirens here in germany 😂😂😂
Una Rummel where are you from?
C Klasse 55 AMG kleinblittersdorf and you?
Una Rummel Achso, das ist doch an der französichen Grenze. Also ich komme aus Niedersachsen. (Südharz)
Official H&H's Garage Host so do we
damn that one loud car alarm
2016: scary mysterious siren
2020: hehe funni sirenhead
Siren go brrrr hehe
0:00 The siren was a dual toned Whelen WPS 3016
A threat is usually just telling you GET INSIDE! depending on the type of siren they sound different. Between a Whelen 4008 and a thunderb bolt 1000. The tones depend on the command box, the type of siren, and what the city wants
correct.
Some familiar Warning Sirens name:
0:50 = Whelen Vortex (4004)
0:54 = Federal Signal Thunderbolt (1000T)
0:54 that's actually not a federal signal, its actually a rare CTI one
At the beginning, it is two whelen vortexs and one at 560 Hz sounding in sequence. Which makes it sound like a WWII Carter Air raid siren.
SlayerGaming_TV sounds more like a car horn.
ThatTechDude that's what I said
Bruh... I literally just noticed that
I thought it was carters lol I was like "but America ain't got no carters" 😆
Question for you. Just got two of them, back to back (a test, hopefully). One was the 'air raid siren', as you put it, but the first was a long, continuous tone. Any idea where I can find resources to find out what they mean?
1:37
Is is that fucking internet explorer.
dudester101 yep
dudester101 well now we know why the news is sometimes wrong
dudester101 ya I know right 😂
dudester101 lol
Also thier using IRC. holy shit.

My first reaction would be, “SIREN HEAD”
this was before siren head even existed
Umm I would rather jump in a tornado instead of seeing siren head
CybR ok? I’m only saying if I heard it now :/
50 siren heads randomly spawn out of nowhere “THE FITNESS GRAM PACER TEST IS A MULTI STAGE AEROBIC CAPACITY WORKOUT-“
1:25 That is the one that goes off constantly where I live.
There are the scheduled ones that go off every Monday through Saturday at 7:;00 AM, 8:00AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, and 5:00 PM.
Plus whenever the volunteer fire department needs an ambulance or a firetruck it goes off.
Plus it is also used as our tornado warning siren which nobody ever notices because that rotating horn is going off constantly in our town.
the first saturday of every month, 12;00 for 1 minute, is my tornado siren heaven
Thank you so much!! I just had a siren go off and I wasn’t so sure if it was over when it stopped or not!
I swear I heard a carter siren
Isaac and Alex I am not a siren
No it's a dual tone whelen.
Mr.Someone \Tom/ actually it's 2 different Whelens, just one is higher pitched than the other so it sounds like a dual toned Whelen or a Carter
Carters Carnivorous Plants noone said your name!
Omq Frisky Wooosh!
the ones in the beginning sounded like Carter sirens
Honestly, I'd be too busy laughing at the nuclear threat siren to actually find shelter :^)
The computer just simulates the pattern of the tone, definitely how how eerie it will sound (which also depends largely on what siren is used)
To be fair there isn’t much shelter to go to in the event of a nuclear detonation
1:14 1st tone sounds like the beginning of the Soviet anthem
no its a whelen hi lo
if I hear this I am out off town fuck that.
BHAHA the flooding alarm is my school fire alarm 😂
Ugh, the siren sounds give me goose bumps.
1:26 sounds like a wolf
SiberianMicrophone 19 *attack/fast wail*
idk about other places but here in Nebraska and Kansas the sirens will go off once a tornado warning is issued and again if an actual tornado touches down or is very likely to touch down
Kille78 that is also the case in Ohio.
Well, I do hope that I never hear the fast wail signal.
Or *attack* because it really tells you that there will be a *what you don’t wish* AN ATTACK
@@mjt777x8 I thought the fast wail signal was the attack signal, what is normal wail used for?
Wail is same as attack. Attack means of a bomb threat or a wildfire nearby. Fast wail is normally used for radiological hazards or wildfire.
@@Ultimate2T22 Normal wail and fast wail are two different tones, but fair enough. Hawaii uses normal wail to signal a nuclear attack.
@@Ultimate2T22 Really? I never knew Attack meant a wildfire. I thought the "FIRE" tone was for fires.
who remembers the good ol days when a false alarms freaked out a whole state? good thing im a florida man
It's all fun and games till the siren plays in the woods.
It's all fun and games till the siren plays in the woods and you check it out it was just a normal siren they put in the woods for gods knows. And its more fun and games
thank you fro this video this helped me alot.
0:01 this is not Carter. This is sound of two sirens. These sirens are Whelen Vortex and 2810.
It sounds like a carter tho right?
ActionFire yes
Thank you for making us overly safe. Xoxo we appreciate all news reporters.
The company I worked for had the same alarm for fires and tornados. We had a tornado warning and a lot of people went outside!
The fast wail is what my county uses for tornado warnings
0:01 My sirens in Ohio
Lol did you guys see the part when they showed a thunderbolt but played a whelen sound?
hearing a siren up close is worse than sticking a needle up your ears
Ive lived in canada my entire life. Ive never ever heard one of these
I have lived in Europe for my entire life and i never even seen one
it sounds like Bert from Elmo's World LOL
"They certainly get you're attention"
The flood one sounds like the intruder alert alarm sound from my old school
We literally get like no tools or education to even tell us what each mean. The government should implement this in our schools. I'm in college now but it'd have been nice to have been familiarized with the sirens back in highschool.
So THAT'S why the test lasts three minutes.
personaly i love those sounds
no siren in more unsettling than the classical nuclear bomb threat siren in my opinion
You don't have to tell me that more than once.
Yet the flood alarm/siren is tested once every 2 weeks around here.
I literally live within walking distance of the Northern part of the Delaware River.
For some reason I feel like if the nuclear attack siren went off and I was there, I would have a heart attack before the bomb even hit us 😂
A CTI owned Thunderbolt never seen that before
1:15
The 2nd siren is tested on a Bi-Weekly basis in the part of the U.S. that I live in. Then again I do live with in walking distance of the Northern End of the Delaware River.
Love the showing of the Thunderbolts 😍
This is really giving me chills..
the last tone when he said "Nuclear warning tone" Gave me lots of chills
WHEN THE SIRENS GO OFF ME BE LIKE FRICK FRICK FRICK HELP ME
It's aloud and scary sound . But when there there's no other way that are there for your protection.
Interesting use for the high-low tone. Around here I think the only one used is just the regular siren, and many sirens lack the capability to do the high-low tone since it wasn't used much. Most sirens can only do alert and attack modes. AFAIK, the original meaning of the high-low tone has been lost to history. I've also been witness to a test in attack mode, which is concerning when you actually know what attack mode is and means.
The sirens in this video are a thunderbolt 1000t which looks like a square trumpet. A Whelan 4004 or vortex r4. And a whelan 2810 aka the black speaker siren. Reminds me of a tower of hockey pucks
I’m starting a petition to change every siren to Sponge Monger from Spongebob Squarepants.
Their flood tone is my city's tornado tone
It's like what you're grandfather said if you here a siren go seek shelter
>_> In Australia brisbane they have Whellen signals that alert flood. >_> Why my life has to be in that place?
Me: I didn’t even hit you that hard.
My brother:
0:26 ...that's not hat a thunderbolt siren sounds like
Nuclear warning sounds like a doggy
Imagine an earthquake happened then Godzilla appeared out of nowhere
The opening siren is creepy
LAkingsfan46 I always hear those sirens
LAkingsfan46 I live there
You think that’s creepy? Listen to what a Chicago tornado siren sounds like
I live in southern israel it is scarier
We need the sirens in Roanoke VA!!!!!!
no one:
the thumbnail: *T H U N D E R B O L T*
No.Is CTI SMR-1000T
Levi Diniz shut up
And most ppl gone ignore it thinking its just a bunch of loud fire trucks driving nearby
yo can we get the broken Chicago tornado siren?
Siren Head?
@@aureliocasillasfanaidenlop6672 no thry always use that chicago siren for sirenhead which gets more boring and boring
It's not a broken siren ffs it's a hi-lo purposely doing that to echo around buildings to let people in metropolitan areas hear of a tornado warning.
i hear this everyday even right now
Those alarms scare me
The nuclear siren sound like one of my toy fire trucks
A CTI thunderbolt????
Crazy Noah wtf I just noticed that
In my area alert is for thunderstorms and tests, wail is for tornadoes, fast wail is for any nuclear attack/ air raid, and pulse is for chemicals, and hi - lo is for flood and fire.
Wow I never knew those sounds
We have them where I live
where i live there's lots of floods and our mayor hasn't installed any siren to warn us (we get notified by amber alerts)
also a story:
back in early 2017 there were rumors a tornado hit south of my town. i thought it was fake but on a night ( i had to sleep in my parents' room since my dad's cousin lives with us) I heard an amber alert and it was actually a severe weather warning
I live in Tulsa, it's hell
The flood one sounds like a european ambulance
imagine hearing this at night while ur walking
nuclear war one gave me goosebumps
Attack tone you mean?
Guy:The one i hope to never hear is the one to warn you about a nuclear attack
Also Guy: sounds the same siren he hopes to not hear
Those flooding sirens just went off like all around BA and none of my family or friends had heard them before
I am living in Moore, OK. I can say that sirens are LOUD.
At the thumbnail is my favourite siren (federal signal thunderbolt)
Yes, no fire tone.
Sound like a air raid on London on WWII
Maybe it's SIREN HEAD NOOOOOO
Hi-lo is not used for coming flooding, it can be used for tornado threats aswell
Wail is also not fulled used for nucelar attacks.
Where I live, they play the sirens all the time, idk why though
Now people know why theres a setting called "Attack"
Went to basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO... I can never unhear the fucking doorbell siren they use for general alerts on that base. Somewhat better than the high-ass monotone G# wail they use for weather alerts that bores into your skull, but there's still something kinda profane about THE doorbell sound, the one that is also used in a lot of clock towers, being used as an alert tone for everything that's NOT a weather alert...
I like it but I hope I don't hear nuke sign
2020: SIREN HEAD?
I love the whelen harmony here
I just heard this sound that’s why I looked this up
What about a tsunami warning tone
i wanna hear what the "broken" chicago tornado siren alert tones are all about
