Happy new year🎉🎉! I absolutely love seeing a new post and video of yours come up on my feed❤. Hope you all are doing well, herd and all. Thank you for your wholesome content
That belly gets me every time! If you don't find the next size up blanket, you could always use a good ribbon, cotton hi top sneaker laces or rawhide boot laces to bridge the gap to tie up the belly closure. Last night I was thinking that in a few months, you will begin to be on feral foal alert. Was wondering what this year will bring. Good luck shopping!
Piper's starting to get that gangly adolescent look. She reminds me of my girl, who also, still, loves her blankie. Thanks for the loving that helped this little girl survive.
That cold burrr.. shivering just thinking about it 👏wearing the right clothes sure helps. Sorry that Piper has to be on meds...but so good to see her close up..being brushed and trying to touch Jordan...she is adorable.. glad you have a gift card for Piper. Made this new year a bit better for this Sunday♡
Glad Piper has the good sign of new growth. She has become more people friendly, standing to be groomed. Funny how the blanket fit, close... interesting if the belly band can be dropped down. Best wishes, glad you have some moisture for plant growth and future crops.
For goodness sake! You'd think there would be some extendable straps for the belly band to accommodate growth in the girth of the horse. Nice to see Piper looking well---I hope you folks had a lovely holiday, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year---however you celebrate. Winter Spirits Abound!
Hello!! Love how you help the horses. Been a little while since checked in here, but the first thing I think of as I look at a new video of Piper is, .. I wonder if you have taken stool sample to vet to check for any worm investation? As I look at her belly, that is my very first thought. I used to just rotate wormers and gave seasonally, but, a year ago I decided to have the stool checked. Was SHOCKED that my gelding had a "moderate" load of infestation! Had to give him very strong treatment and couple follow ups. I'm convinced now, that I will always take a sample in first, then treat according to that discovery. I'm older, have had horses most my life, give them great care, so this was an eye opener!! His belly really started looking better after that, and later also gave a monthly treatment of Succeed, just to help his stomach and digestion. He currently looks awesome, belly up good and has also filled in a little top line weight. I'm amazed at the improvement, and feel confident it was the change in the worming program and that Succeed we gave. I had never heard of it before, had given other prebiotics, didn't see changes, but did this time. Course, it could have been the strong treatment for the worm level too. Always a puzzle LOL. Good luck, I know this foal is in good hands, thank you again for all your devotion.😊
She’s a bottle fed baby. It’s normal for them to have distended bellies. They don’t get the bacterial colonies that their mothers would produce when they’re eating pasteurized milk powder. That’s why Candace was saying she’s going t get probiotics for Piper.
Have fun shopping! She’s a funny shape. Big old belly….narrow shoulders. Good luck! She obviously loves being brushed and scratched. I love her blue eye. Maybe all you need is some sort of belly strap extender.
Piper looks like she is improving and is gaining weight. The diarrhea is concerning as well as the pot belly. Hopefully you can get gastric problems under control soon.
I think about sweet Piper often...and wonder how she is doing with her medical challenges. Any particular reason her tummy looks a little bloated? Worms?? Just curious 🤔
Unfortunately her tummy has been like that for months now and they have dewormed her several times. It's part of the reason everybody's been so worried about her.
@@ellensimmons6506 yeah it's very sad. Honestly I think that's probably why her mother abandoned her. She could tell that Piper wasn't healthy. If Candice and Jordan hadn't found her when they did, there's no way she would have survived.
I missed Piper! She is looking great! Thank's for the update!!
Piper is looking beautiful. So happy that she is doing so much better.
Piper looks beautiful ❤ thank you for saving her and nursing her back to health. Happy New Year!!!❤
It is such a joy to watch your orphan babies grow up loved, healthy and happy! Thank you for saving them!
Piper is loving the attention. What a sweet little girl. Your loving care has given this girl the chance to thrive.

Oh my I thought at first this was old Ranger footage😂😂😂❤
Me too ... I wonder if they are related - maybe they could be DNA tested? 🙂
@morgangoodman3656 same herd so very likely
Piper enjoys the attention.
Such a sweetheart 🥰😍💖
Thanks for the Piper update❤
Velcro straps can help this fit her - easily available in stores and on Amazon. She’s beautiful!
Good thing you're getting her more probiotics, because she's still got that big belly thing going on! She sure loves that brush! ❤
Pretty pony ❤
She makes no secret of where the best scratching spot is.

Piper!
I hope you're able to find one to fit her. She does like her blankie.
Sweet girl!❤
She had a rough start. It is sad the other little one you rescued didn't survive.
Does piper still have a worm problem. The worms can damage the gut and leave issues even after they are cleared.

Piper looks like Ranger when he was wee.
❤❤❤❤❤

How she has grown. Grow baby into a healthy, beautiful lady.
Do they have shelter from weather? ❤

@micah06v8 Oh. No. Sorry to hear that 😞 I knew there were medical struggles a few months back. Sad they seem to be continuing 😕

@@micah06v8Sadly, I agree! 😞
Look at her! Piper has really sprouted! And that's quite some belly she's got on her!
Piper doesn’t look well…. I hope she will be ok ❤😊
Is there a chance Ranger & Piper could be siblings? I remember someone saying their coloring same
Get extension straps?
Remind me what were the insects or whatever stuck all over her when you found her?
Ticks
she looks like she could be related to ranger
Look at that belly!
get out your sewing machine and add onto the blanket straps
