I test them frequently enough that it's kind of hard to stick with one for anytime, but the Vizony RD830 is a more recent one that I have really enjoyed. The speakers are really good on that model. Honestly though, this C16 has been doing it all for me lately and is REALLY solid for the price. Idk if the value can be beat...
If you had to do a direct comparison between this one and the Vankyo V630W, how would they compare? I ask because I was currently eyeing the V630W before finding this video. I see (also) that I can currently get the V630W (brand new) for like $45! Would that price point alter your opinion at all (between these TWO)?
Welp, I'll soon be able to figure this out for myself as I have just ordered BOTH of the units I mentioned! I caught a "new / open box" on this DBPOWER C16 for only $59, AND I grabbed a brand new Vankyo V630W for only $42.83!
Haven't been able to test on a proper screen yet but I did test (on a crappy bed sheet) just to make sure they worked before any return/exchange window closed on them both. I am ultimately still amazed that I got BOTH those models for just over $100 ($101.83 to be exact) - for both, BRAND NEW! That being said, I may update after getting a nice proper screen for them both but as of (and "for") now, these are both very impressive units IMHO. I do like that the DBPOWER has the full auto ~ where you can literally just turn it on and "it just works"! You can have it set up on a crooked arse bedsheet and it doesn't care. It will "figure out" the corners and adjust itself accordingly and BAM, next thing you know - you have a decent image. Even if it IS on a bedsheet strung across the inside of an RV in the most crooked of ways possible! Which is all I could do to "test" these for now! That being said; when you (digitally) "shrink" the image, text does become unreadable (beyond a certain "shrinkage")... Which, at least to some degree, I would kind of expect. Therefore I wouldn't totally mark that down as a "negative" but, just something to be aware of! The V630W, well I do like how it has more inputs than the DBPOWER (C16), the DBPOWER lacks the "old school" DSUB15 / VGA connector and I believe the SD CARD. They BOTH have the HDMI (of course) and USB... I actually really like the manual focus knob, and I personally do not like the manual keystone wheel! The nice thing, in direct comparison here (between the V630W and the C16) is that: due to the manual focus wheel, I am able to digitally shrink the image to as small as it will let me (I think was 50%) and using the manual focus knob, I can still "fine tune" it so that even during "full shrinkage" the text from my PC input was 100% perfect (unlike the C16). Which, to be fair I did also try the (digital) "manual focus" on the C16 remote too, and while shrunk beyond a certain threshold, there's pretty much *nothing* you can do to correct that text/blur...! Ultimately, I think the V630W and the C16 are actually fairly "close" models. One has more inputs than the other, which you may like or need depending on how old your hardware is... One has an actual manual focus knob as where the other one is pretty much all "automated" with "digital manual focus"... Either one is surely a SOLID purchase! I guess I would close with, if you need older inputs (too) and or perfect manual fine tuning of focus, go with the V630W. If you need "setup" to be an as fast as possible "whiz", then grab the C16! Either one seem like they will be good for gaming too BTW (I played some DOOM as a test for a little on each, and while I couldn't actually "measure" the "lag", it seemed like there was none! My assessment of "lag" was "jump" and "crouch" and a Side X Side of the projection image with an LCD... I guess it should also go without saying that both have crap-tastic sound; if you're serious about sound what-so-ever you are going to want to be running external audio with either of these! Other than that, my experience is VERY short and limited with both of these on an improper (very improper) screen; if anything changes or I feel anything should be added to this direct assessment of the V630W vs C16 ~ I will update this comment at that time! ETA: I have not and will not test or use any "wireless" functionality - I have no desire to ever use it, I would prefer wired any day anyway! I do believe both the V630W and the C16 have all the same "wireless" tech in them though (WiFi, bluetooth, android/IOS/screen mirror ETC)
You can get this DBPOWER C16 projector here on Amazon (affiliate): amzn.to/3V6wR9w

Which projector is your primary one that you mainly use?

@CandidTechTV ya, this projector is packed full of features. I'm using the 4k xgimi mounted on the ceiling.

Hey Barry! It's 40 milliseconds
Wish it had the Netflix license on it like the other projector
Yeah that would be nice, how much more would you be willing to pay for that?
Just plug a firestick in it or an onn box, shield etc.
