Sounds like we need a cooking episode of the podcast. Make it a summer special. Light food from the air fryer, grilling some burgers, and homemade ice cream to end the episode.
The fact that Impulse and Skizz were able to sing "Favorite Things" while making eye contact with one another and not falling out in laughter to stave off the embarrassment let's you know they are truly besties lol. I would fold under that kinda pressure 🤣

I like the fact that Impulse started his verse out of nowhere and Skizz just rolled with it.
I had to laugh when skizz started describing a regular kettle as if it was some wonder device. Literally every home has one of those where I'm from 😂
Are you living in the UK by any chance? Cause yeah that's the norm here but I know in the US a lot of people use microwaves for tea 😅 (the horror hahaha)
I laughed at that too. A question for the Americans - Skizz says it's "a tea-kettle thing, just for heating water" - what are you doing with your stove-top kettles?! Making tea *in* the kettle? I'm so confused 😂
@@numbatty Why would you use up stove space for your kettle? Just use an electric one and then you can even pick the water temp you need. I drink a lot of tea, so I need temps other than boiling
@@Kehy_ThisNameWasAlreadyTaken Oh, I have a regular electric kettle, but I know in the US most people don't, and sometimes use a stove-top kettle instead. I think I misinterpreted, that Skizz was pointing out that the kettle is a specialised tool only for heating water, not that you put other things in other types of kettle. The non-electric-kettle world is a mystery to me!
They also use those for ramen here in Japan.
I don't comment much but I wanted to take a few minutes to share my personal journey with listening to your podcast. I have been listening since the beginning as I've been a long time fan of both of you since before this podcast was a thing. Unfortunately, a while back, I had to deprioritize watching UA-cam in general Episode 35 due to some changes in my kids' schedule. But, I recently found some more time to start watching again. So, over the past few weeks I have been catching up. As of this morning, I am caught up and all I have to say is "Wow!".
Your podcast is absolutely exceptional. I love the variety in the episodes in that sometimes things are very heavy and serious while other times its just fun (like this last one). Yall have made me laugh out loud countless times and I have enjoyed all the guests that you have brought on. Rendog was a standout for me because I've never really watched his Minecraft content so I didn't know much about him. The man is nothing short of inspiring.
Listening to you guys is like hearing my own thoughts echoed back most times. The alignment in perspectives has been uncanny, making each episode feel like a conversation with friends I've yet to meet. Your podcast has become a cherished part of my routine, a source of comfort and joy in the everyday. I'm sad that I have to wait for the next episode!

SO GLAD ABOUT THE HERMITGANG VERSE. i get so excited whenever any hermit does it. one of my favourite hermitcraft memories of all time
When you guys started talking about the beats headphones, I started jumping with excitement. I have ADHD and sensory issues. Going to things in loud places used to be a NIGHTMARE. For Christmas this past year my husband got me the Beats headphones, I use them ALL THE TIME! I cried the first time I put them on because all the noise just faded away and it was like getting relief for a permanent headache I didn't realize I could ever escape. I'm now able to go do things like grocery shopping without wanting to have a meltdown. I sometimes use it for music or listening to things, but when I go out, it's literally just cancelling noise and it makes me able to live life more fully. They've been a game changer for me! I'm lucky though, I guess my ears are tiny enough that the foam doesn't press on my ears, my ears fit completely into the centre hole. They are expensive, but so far it's the best investment in living a somewhat normal life and I recommend them to anyone who struggles with loud places.
hi question form an ADHD to another ADHD i love having the headphones for sensory issues but for me i struggle more with the Sweaty feeling from them, have you ever had any issues with this and if so do u have any recomendations? i use the Leather covers and its like 35-40c were i live almost all year round and i feel like they keep slipping or just the sticky feeling us unconfutable. if you havent had any issues with it no worries
@@puppersissage8640I'll be completely honest, I don't have issues with this myself (I'm Canadian, it's often cold here) but I could imagine that's extremely frustrating. If the thing you're struggling with is the leather slipping or getting sticky, I know my sister in law crocheted covers for hers (she had a super old pair and the leather was starting to come apart so rather than replacing, she just made her own covers) and perhaps you could look into something like that and see if it helps. I know there is "cooling material" that exists and you might be able to sew covers or something that will put a cooling material against your ear? Again, no clue if that will work or not but I appreciate you asking the question! (We ADHDers need to look out for one another!)

I love that you two say, “you are usually right.” My husband begrudgingly tells the kids “your mom is normally right.” I say “it is a heavy burden to always be right. I don’t want to because it reinforces bad habits I have.” But it is also nice to be right. 😂

Gotta get Grian on so you all can reminisce about the LIFE series, and more importantly, how his "child" came to be. I'd love to hear the behind the scenes inner workings of the LIFE series.
Plus maybe some stuff about his CraftedMovie days and Wynncraft, and YHS and more. He's got some real creative chops that'd be awesome to hear about since Life Series incorporates a decent bit of his past.
I thought the same thing at first but then it would ruin the lore behind it all.

Couple of things to keep in mind for loufahs:
1 - They're usually made from porous material, and will be wet & warm after use, creating a perfect conditions for bacterial growth. To keep the loufah hygienic you should dry it out after use, and wash it regularly.
2 - You don't need to remove all the dead skin with your loufah, your body will naturally shed dead skin when it's ready. If you're too harsh with scrubbing you can irritate your skin, increasing your risk of skin problems.
It's also fine not to use one - they're not necessary to keep yourself clean & hygienic. If you have sensitive skin or know you're not going to bother with drying & washing a loufah, then it might be better to stick to washing yourself with your hands.
I am just always down for real life friends hanging and vibing. This is what you get with Imp, Tango, Skizz and to an extent The Hermits. I see that they do and am always here for it!
I love these guys. how they talk about it their wives and family. the joy you can hear in their voice talking about making ice cream.
Toss broccoli in olive oil, topped with garlic, salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese, and toss in the air fryer around 350 for 8-10 minutes. It's by far my favorite way of cooking broccoli.
Hearing Skizz learn about the greatness that is an air fryer is what I needed to hear today. (Imp is so right tho- one of the worlds best inventions)
59:09 Yep, Skizz. That’s why companies put multiple size buds so you can mix and match to fit your ears. There are companies that can take a mould of your ears and make buds the perfect fit for your ears though they tend to be expensive.

You’re podcasts are the perfect thing to listen to while doing cardio at the gym at 5AM. I look forward to every Friday lol
specifically for the example of going to a mobfarm and suddenly there's a lot of very loud mob noises (like enderman farms for example) check out the extreme sound muffler mod. You can tweak sound of everything that has a subtitle individually and you can make those changes locational. So the enderman would be quiet at the farm but still make noise anywhere else. great QoL mod, highly recommend.

PSA: at 33:15 Impulse describes using a leg press machine in a very dangerous way, please be very careful with these machines as they can break legs if used incorrectly.
Agree, please don't do this folks!!! Don't be afraid to ask one of the gym employees to show you how to safely use equipment if you're ever unsure.

My favourite thing in the world right now, is a cool pack sleeping mask. You put a cool pack in the fridge, and then when you're going to bed, you put it in the mask, and put it on. It has completely changed how I sleep.
Okay this actually sounds amazing. I wear a mask because the streetlights are so bright, but my face gets warm. Adding this to my wishlist!!
Weighted blankets are an amazing invention… I can’t sleep without mine

Air fryers are efficient ovens. They cook things by blowing hot air on them. They aren't a proper replacement for real fryers, but can cook a lot of things you used to put in the oven.

At work I started having wrist pain, they got me a "compact keyboard". It's much smaller and the numpad is slidable so it can be tucked away and you can have your mouse closer. So might be worth looking into something like that ^^
I was also given a vertical mouse which helped a lot too!

I have a toaster oven that I can make toast in. I love my crock pot, especially when it comes to fixing dinner. I've even cooked Cornish game hens in it. The words that you were looking for is mortar and pestle. My husband gave me a tea pot that is a tea infuser for Valentines day several years ago. The pot itself has lines so I know how much water to put into it. The basket can hold both tea bags or loose leaf tea. I push a button on it that will start it up and then it beeps to let me know when the tea is done. I have gotten so much use out of it and I love it. It probably doesn't seem like a very romantic gift, but I had gotten loose leaf tea from a crochet subscription and had no way to brew that tea. The tea pot makes it so that I can actually use the loose leaf tea.
This was my favorite one so far. Not because of the topic, but because you guys are hilarious when you get a little cheeky😂
I also take forever to drink my coffee and tea! I have a Yeti, but I also have nice mugs that I like to use. When I want to use the ceramic mugs, I have a mug warming plate to keep my drink warm for as long as I need and it has 3 temperature settings! It’s wonderful.

Don't feel bad i prefer simplicity in my showering and such to the point that I have a shampoo that I just use as body wash too. And wash rags. Fresh rag per shower mind you. I ran out of bar soap one time and forgot and didn't wanna get out of the shower so I just used the shampoo and it worked so nice I just kept doing that lol

I love my air fryer but I haven't used it nearly enough! I like that food is crispy without the grease. I love that Impulse is the gadget king!
You guys talked about them, but I use large, cover-your-whole-ear, noise cancelling headphones almost every single day (and for sure every day that I work). I do woodworking so all the machines and tools are really loud. Not only do the headphones protect my hearing, they allow me to listen to podcasts while working now! Best investment I ever made.

One of my favorite things I’ve ever invested in are my pilot frixion pens. I have to write A LOT for my job, and I am very prone to making mistakes. These pens have a small rubber nib on the end so you can erase a bit if you make a mistake. Saves me from having to reprint things to markup correctly. They also have ink refills you can buy instead of having to buy a whole new pen. Only downside is you can’t expose the ink to heat or else it’ll disappear (though I think if you put it somewhere cold it’ll come back? Haven’t tested it yet so I’m not sure).

I have this window cleaning set from Jemako and it uses only water and three different cloths. It works like magic and it's just water! I love it so much.

I love my Yeti mug, and I recently upgraded to the new maglock style with a built in handle.
I used to have a coffee mug that had the side with the handle that curved in so the mug literally hugged your hand and it was the perfect mug. It unfortunately didn’t survive the great tickle fight of 2018, and I still miss it dearly

We were given an Actifry one Christmas I think it's the OG air fryer. It has a blade in the center to rotate the fries. I sometimes take the blade out if I'm doing chicken nuggets or pierogi. We also have an Instant Pot from another Christmas. Soups, stews, spaghetti, mac & cheese, all good dinners made easy.

One of my favourite things are my Fairylights and my Obulb from Olight. I love lights and this thing is amazing. I can have different settings of which colours it has and its brightness. I can also do that with an app. It can also charge via a magnet charger, so super easy. I bought two, so I can have it on for the whole day.

My oven and hob haven't worked for over a year - I throw everything in the airfryer, they rock! Agree with getting creative (or desperate). The name 'fryer' is definitely misleading, it's an oven/grill/fryer all in one. :D I can't believe I care enough to write this, haha!

Skizz, they also have a fixated device with a weighted base. You put your feet in it and it wont let you fall but it makes you do squats correctly.
The part where they talk about an electric kettle as if it's an outlandish invention from another planet was my favourite part. came from the audio version to here to look for comments about it but none floating to the top.
Found a beautiful sweater at Lulu. Softest thing I’ve ever felt. Price tag: $375. I put it back on the rack and walked out and I’ve never been back to that store. It’s just too much money.
Skizz!! I have a yellow m&m coffee cup I got from one of my great friends when we were roommates while serving in the military. It’s my favorite coffee cup. Had it for about 10 years now and my brother broke the handle 😢 gorilla glued the handle back and now it’s my special occasion coffee cup.
Hey Imp and Skizz! So my wife is pregnant and lactose intolerant, but craves ice cream! I bought her a "Yonanas" from Amazon and she loves it! It just uses frozen fruit and grinds it down into a really creamy frozen yogurt! You might give it a try!

When it comes to coffee I sip a lot as well, but I ended up getting an Ember mug last year. They're expensive but I can tell you it's the only mug I use now. Partly sucks because I have a mug collection I don't even use any more because I hate how quickly it gets cold when I'm not using my Ember now. Lol

I love my rice cooker from Reishunger. It's super easy, can make loads of different rice and rice meals and it can also be used to steam other food and hold it warm for you.

I love my computer dock, one cord to connect my writing laptop, work laptop, or desktop on my desk.
It's a dell something, but there are lots of variations, just get one that has thunderbolt and can do usb power delivery for your laptops.
Previously had to swap cables because I don't keep all the devices connected at all times, this just allows me to switch to what I need at the desk. I've previously had KVMs and multiple keyboards/mice and it just gets nuts.. now it's one setup that I can swap between devices.
Plus works with some tablets, not the video output but jeyboard and mouse function
YES IMPULSE!! 20oz Yeti Rambler is my coffee cup of choice. Best insulated mug I've ever owned, and dishwasher safe. GAME CHANGER for us sippers, I drink two of those a day.
One of my favorite things is: Model Railroading!
Made my hubby build a legit wood-fired pizza oven in the backyard. Yummy! And we now have bread machines (2) that whip up the dough in no time. Also love my Huion drawing tablet with Krita drawing program.
I use Sharpie S gel pens daily and they are the best pen Ive used
