I just want to say that is a bad ass pose you had batman in with the batarang, it's so simple yet it just screams batman, and it was a pose that really made the little smirk work.
I hear you Xenom, definantly nothing wrong in giving us the head's up and it's much appreciated. After that it's up to collectors to decide if they want the figure or not. Personally my opinion has not wavered whatsoever on this figure, it's an absolute must have for me my friend. Beautiful mate! Your videos continues to awe me with the clear quality as you always hear of and that accent is awesome! I want this figure but I have DX02 and its a great figure. I hate how Hot Toys on Ebay are racking the price up from $100! I will just admire figures like yours for now but have to pass on this one. Excellent review Xenom, very in depth and well told man. I think both you and Curtis gave well thought out reviews of what you liked and did'nt like. I think some people can misunderstand your criticisms and think you guys don't like the figure when in fact you do, neither one of you ever said you we're giving the figure back. And thanks for shedding some light on that crooked abs situation, people the abs turn so when you move them one side will be higher than the other, damn.

I've got calibrated monitor and the black tones are spot on. No purple tint.

I am so waiting for this figure for the longest time. I don't have the DX02 so this is the ultimate Batman figure for me even with all the minimal issues on this figure. I'm thankful Hot Toys is making awesome figures otherwise we'll all end up buying Mattel. As always, great detailed review my friend.

Nice to see you got this and love the camera..i see some had issues that i didn't notice either..now that the smoke has settled the fig isn't as bad as i made people think..the issues that i had were just observations that made me think the fig may not of been worth the money..i still see them but with a velvet cape the issues don't seem as bad.. . i never said i hated the fig and yes it is better than the dx02..being that mine is rotting..great job buddy..Respect
Holy shit!!! Thanks for clearing up why the abs look symmetrical in some shots and not others!!! It's just part of the result of articulation!!! AWESOME!!! :)

my friend it's aaaaallll goooood :) there are just 2 things YOU HAVE TO CHANGE on your Batman and he'll look much better 1) change the mouth piece either of them but that smirkin friendly face sucks and is not Batman at all 2) u have to make him look slightly upwards, gives him a way meaner and badass look....u'll see it works...i did the same :) superb review as usual
Yeah the guys I orderd from said December time for my DX12 I dont mind getting it late though. As a owner of a DX02 I think this one is looking way better. The DX02 was great at the time but this is the Batman to get, nice review.

I think it looks great, the eyes could have been smaller though, and the gauntlets smaller, but the cape looks great on some of the photos I have seen. Anyway thanks for the review it was very informative
I've had this on Pre order since August, and I must say this review and neny dee review have got me wanted this badly, when hot toys released the final product pics for this I was like how disappointing, but after this my mind is blown, thanks for review.
Great video, I think the figure looks great, the emp gun is the only thing that is a bit disappointing, but o well the figure is awesome.
great, i preordered this and i'm surprised that u received it first. I'm from asia so usually we receive our stuff from our retailers first, but on the plus side since i live in asia i can get an exchange immediately if there are any problems with my hot toys.

Great review of a great figure, I am not sure if I see the goggle eyes people are talking about but the eyes look too big and that is why the Cowl Headsculpt looks cartoony. Nevertheless, the lighting and distance can make the big eyes appear less noticeable and thus, make the Cowl Headsculpt look more realistic. I know you said it is just a figure so people should not expect perfection but Hot Toys is known to produce realistic sculpts, so why can't these Batman ones look realistic to?

If you have captions on they read "Frederal Govenernment" when he says "Fabric" five minutes in.

Like the revised review. Saw the original. Keeping my preorder, but it went from a 98% to a 95%. The gun is a minor let down. The under flap on the cape is a let down, but it looked great while installed. Probably the biggest let down is the face. They had a little bump on the left side of his nose on the early prototype and it looks like they removed that. I still notice the shiny abs, but not as bad. It didn't really look like a flaw, more like you had potato chip grease on fingers when unbox.

I just sold my dx02 for £275, the dx12 shits all over the dx02 in my opinion, it's a must have fig, the cape clips were basically the same, the cape is much better on the dx12 aswell, it's a must have fig
I know man its crazy.. I guess you'll never satisfy everyone.. I preordered this guy last night from BBTS. It says November for release date. I didn't have the money to get him faster from Hong Kong but I guess I just have to be patient. And I agree 2.0 Joker is a must. I got him preordered too from ForbiddenPlanet..No idea how long i'll have to wait for him though.

Great vid andre! Just got mine a few days ago...The figure is great believe me...it just needs some tweaks...the cape from HT has to go it looks and feels cheap...get the velvet cape that's what i've done...the chest plate is movie accurate...go and check out pictues and photos from the movie...it's not as bulky as you think.Overall it's not a BAD figure :)

the figure itself is great, but little things bring down the figure. i can't understand why can't they make the EMP gun look better? make it so that he can hold it in a shooting stance, and with individual lights. i got a feeling that made this figure this way so that plp will be more incline to buy the 1/4 scale dark knight figure. hmmm

Hey xenomorph great review! But I am really concerned with the head articulation. Does the head easily come off? since it is connected with a magnet right? Or is it still as tight as figures like the DX Indiana Jones head or any hot toys head for that matter? Thanks and hoping for your kind reply. :D

Very nice review! I had the same problem with the cape clips. They drive me nuts! I would like to know how to fold the cape so it hangs tightly in the back like so many I have seen. Also I would like to note that my DX12 came with the other Bale head, not the one you have with part of the costume attached to it. Is that a mistake or is this some kind of variant going on here?

Sorry, I cant see many problems at all with this figure. Im convinced half the people that are bitching couldnt get a preorder so they're jealous, and the other half hate everything anyway. For a DOLL, this thing looks pretty damn close to Batman. Is it 100% perfect? Of course not, most figures I own arent but its plenty close enough. Work on getting a cool pose, angle the head right, the figure is just fine so ignore what others say.

Where do you live like what country
People have issues because they are realizing this suit design isn't actually that great looking to begin with. The only thing Hot Toys has done wrong is getting it perfectly film accurate, they should have slightly fudged the design here & there (especially the head) to disguise it's inherent ugliness. You either have a bad ass looking head, like 1989 Bats, but in doing so forfeit neck articulation (just like the real suit). Or you have this new design, that's why I still prefer the '89' suit.
