Agreed about the art box Justin. I don't usually care that much about art boxes but I do think it is mandatory. It's kinda like blurays. It's just nice to be able to display the boxes they're in too.
Ive moved away from figures and more into statues over the years but this might actually be a good alternative to a 1/4 statue, especially with that display base wow. also, honestly, the Bruce sculpt by HT might actually be better than the ones the statue makers have made lol. That's so funny because I did the opposite by moving away from statues and more into Hot Toys figures because statues 99.9% of time have some type of QC issues where hot toys don't have many issues like paint flaws drive me nuts on statues!
I work for a third party statue company (1/4 scale) and my secondary job outside of concept work is designing their boxes! If a company as small as the one i work for can pay me a decent wage to make big boxes fun to open, Hot Toys has NOOOOOO excuse as to why they cant either...

I plan on buying this. It looks so good and will compliment by 1/4 HT joker. I’m not a huge “box guy” but the fact they didn’t even pack it is crazy! Especially for this! I understand cost reduction but come on! Not to mention the fact that the box helps protect the figure while in transit

Price gouging from Sideshow aside, if Hot Toys is increasing prices they shouldn't be skimping out on details. Jesus, that box is awful. The elbow armour still sticking out like that is bullshit. Just include extra gauntlets with bent elbow gaurds for fighting poses 🤦 Some nice extras and the cape looks good, but I'm sticking with the first release. OT Customs work is unbelievable 👏 Great video Justin 👍
I love the display base with the Falcon head for this impressive 1/6 scale figure! I also dig the sonar eyes for the Batman, which I thought was the best part of the Dark Knight because Batman had only so much time to find and save the hostages.
This is still, do this day, my favorite batsuit. I absolutely love it, even more than Ben Affleck’s comic accurate batsuit and Robert Pattinson’s batsuit. And I’m not entirely sure why. I’m just love it, and I love every Hot Toy’s figure if it

Personally, I find that HT did a good job on this reissue of Batman ! I looked at what the competing brands do and really they can't sublimate the excellent painting work or the head sculpt of this 1/4 figurine.
How much for the ot head sc and neck ? Really lovely one and think the best bat sculp ! I would love to have one for my bat . But don't know how to order and how they would send to my country.. 😢❤❤

Thank you Justin! Have to agree with you on a few things. The Box, I don't want the delivery guy or my neighbors knowing what I'm receiving at my doorstep. I also don't want to temp would be package thieves. Also the necks are too skinny on the D X 19 and the quarter scales. I just can't stop looking at it and it bothers me so much. OT's are nice but I'm not willing to spend the cash. But my quarter-scale QS001 is pretty phenomenal. I have to agree.

As this little open mouth look is the most vintage for me in Batman TDKR. For me this is unacceptable how Hottoys omitted the accessory in final release while they were showing in their official picture and prototype!!!
