I love my Beko machine.... I lived in Turkey and had one there... came back and bought another here.... they are so good.
Thanks for the informative videos. I've got this machine a WTK94121W. It has just lost power during a cycle. Power is still not there. It is 3 years old and have had no troubles with it. I think I've overloaded it with bedding sheets and that may have contributed to its demise. I'll take it to bits and see if I can find the problem, I've been told (by Google / youtube) to look for a blown diode on the power board.

Bekos are good,the rear facia clips inside that hold on the programmer always knacker up.

My Blomberg ( BEKO Arcrelik built machine ) has the new door interlock. Not as good as the old type of door, you just pull the door like a cheap dryer door with no opening door handle just the pull out and push in It’s taken me a while to get
Used to it, I do love my Blomberg machine, it’s replaced another Blomberg which replaced a much older Blomberg They are the mid level range brand from Arcrelik BEKO is their budget brand, Blomberg is the mid level range and Grundig are now meant to be the premium brand. To be honest inside the machine they are all the same might have a few different program options but the bare bones are the same, I’ve always found them solid workhorses they do get used to the limit in my house, the only reason the old was written off was because the machine went to spin and unfortunately went through the kitchen floor ( long story but have water coming up through the floors but no one can find the source of it so the wooden floor was sodden ) and broke the suspension and the brackets that hold the suspension in place on the tub so they just wrote it off and I got a replacement ( all done through domestic and general insurance. We have all the appliances and tvs insured with them, they are amazing )
(My opinion) absolutely hate mine after 10 months to be fair, always sudslocks and skips spins due to its rubbish overly sensitive balancing. Wish i got a Bosch. Great review btw!

I know that in Malta, there is a problem with hard water, which is very harmful to the drum spider, but I already saw a similar Beko machine to this one, with its spider broken very badly!
I am not sure about the price, but I have seen machines with similar features as this one, but made by Vestel. At least Vestel can have their drum spider and bearings replaced.
Thanks, Paul - interesting. Like most (acc to Which?), I only use c three programmes and what really irritates on so many machines is the semi- or non-variable temp with a programme (as you indicate this has). I might want to do a Cottons Eco wash on 30 or 20 instead of the 40 or 60 most machines force. If I want a lower temp I have to use another, shorter, programme such as for synthetics when I need the longer wash for cottons (and the cottons eco wash uses less water too). Ditto spin speed: I want synthetics spun on max to reduce drying time - not the enforced lower spin (I use a workaround but it's not the point). Manufacturers may claim they optimise for fabrics - but that should be consumer choice, not theirs.
I wholly agree about sealed drums: insane when the same manufacturer virtue-signals their 'green' credentials (I don't buy for a moment their standard claim that sealed drums are more reliable - rather a more relaible revenue stream for them). My next machine will have independent temp and spin: bugger manufacturers imposing theirs!
*Do you have a view about the desirability of a recirculation (in addition to drain) pump? Some manufacturers such as Ebac claim they improve the wash by better distributing detergent or some such.
*Do you have a view about degrading/failed 'spider': cause/prevention?
We have 1 of these in work but the 8kg and had an excellence version before that for 8 years. I work for the army and we have these downstairs in the laundry room there used almost everyday multiple times a day all different programs and they have never let us down we will soon have 2 beko washers as the zannusi Essentials 1600 the drum is going and it’s gone very loud can hear it all over the building when it’s on spin. But is about 13 years old so it’s done very well.
It will be replaced with another beko 8kg like this one in video as they like them for the same reasons parts are cheep and widely available and mostly easy to do and the actual machine doesn’t cost the world to buy and does mostly everything higher priced brands do.
I always recommend them to people on a budget.
And if my lg died tomorrow I simply cannot afford another one at the moment so I would probably go for a beko.

Thank you Paul for the review. I just hope that the Spider does not brake apart like after Three years, that is what happened to a family friend of mine. As you said the drum was sealed, I opened it up and the Spider had crumbled in some spots. Therefore that machine went straight to the junk yard because the drum and the whole assembly was too expensive

I have heard that mechanics said that Beko is as good as a Bosch, Miele etc, but only cheaper. And superior compared to Korean machines, Samsung, LG. A perfect price performance ratio. What's your opinion of Beko Washing machines?

Hi sir i have purchased new machine in India 🇮🇳 same model with LED display but while it's spining making noise like tak tak when I asked service person he saying it is comon sound is it comon Or need to do service kindly give your suggetion

These compartments are confusing and I have no idea where to put washing maching cleaner! BEKO could really do a better job in manufacturing these machines for consumers.

It's terrible. A basic cycle takes HOURS. Don't go there. Half the washers of any brand have the same motors in them. This is crap. The bearing died. Apparently if you are trade it costs 100 quid to replace the whole,entire drum, Seal and bearing assembly. Then you will pay a fitting cost for some guy and a just socket set. A bearing set will cost a punter 80 quid minimum and take hours of research to do yourself. Wake up the school bullies are still ruining your lives.
I give a shi..th about the possibility of repairing of the machine, I would rather buy a machine that lasts 15 years without repairs
Quite robust and easy to use but the wash cycles take abs forever! There is no point having this washer if you have a high workload. Also the coin filter gets regularly clogged and you have to upend it and remove the gaitor. The switches do not always work with a gentle press. And the seal gets very grey/slimey with certain liquids and then soils your clothes-especially whites z i will be happy when this washer dies and im forced to buy a better one. I cant afford it now and therefore my energy consumption will be higher than more wealthy peoples. A common factor with washers, boilers, double glazing etc. the poor pay more!
