    Totally agree with you on Love. Plus a player that the ESPN crew did not mention, that I am excited to see in this offense is MarShawn Lloyd. Provided that Lloyd gains the trust of the coaching staff regarding ball security and pass pro, I think he'll eventually be an excellent 2nd back. Forming a dynamic one two punch with Josh Jacobs. This rebuilt backfield should give the offense more balance and consistency. I can't wait to see it unfold this fall. Go Pack Go!

      We got excited to see what two back sets looked like, but AJ Dillon (as much as I love him as a person), his playmaking started to falter a bit, and then with Jones' health up and down, we never really got to see what the danger a two-back set looks like. With the playmaking that Lloyd has shown, I'm excited to see what Matt could do with the two set back of Jacobs and Lloyd - now add that in to whatever the other receivers/tes are on the field, and...wow.

    People who say he stunk the first half of the season are clueless and just follow click bait news. Several games the first half of the season he led the league in passer rating…

      As a packers fan I watched every game and those stats might be misleading. I don’t think he stunk per se but he definitely wasn’t good. He was a bottom tier starting qb that needed reps and boom here we are he’s a top 10 QB and about to get the contract to back it up

      @@dustinraper5201 watch the qb school. He analyzed all QBs last year. It was interesting watching his analysis of Love throughout the year. Definitely didn’t agree with the popular narrative about how poorly he played. There were a couple of games that fell mostly on his shoulders but that wasn’t the norm. Receivers running wrong routes, receivers literally running into each other, receivers running routes at the wrong depth which is the worst thing they can do. He couldn’t have done the following if he was so bad the first half:
      Total tds 41 2nd nfl
      Passing tds. 37 2nd
      Passing first downs 230 4th
      EPA per play 0.177. 4th
      Big time throws 37. 3rd
      Completions 20+ yards. 38. 1st
      Grade under pressure 64.4 6th
      Games, multiple tds no int. 10. 1st
      Games, 3 or more tds, no int. 6. 1st
      Games, passer rating over 100. 11. 1st

    • @packers12to80
      @packers12to80 16 днів тому +2

      U have to remember, it was new for literally EVERYONE. all those rookies, new qb, shuffling players, and not to mention new for lafleur. They were the best offense in football week 11-on. They had to all grow....that was all it was. Everyone was down on love early....except ppl who truly knew football. Alot of the issues early were guys not being on the same page. Wr running the wrong route, guys looking inside love threw outside. Thats all it was, most knew it was gonna be rocky early on. And the rocky start was 100% not on love.

    • @sstaz22
      @sstaz22 6 днів тому

      Seriously, look at the quality young players they have...it takes time to jell..

  • @packers12to80
    @packers12to80 16 днів тому +1

    The rocky start was simply due to a few things. 1 rookies, 2 coach had to kept training wheels on too long due to wr/te development/1st time qb and 3 they all needed time to mesh. Its really easy to blame Jordan when you dont have a high football i.q but anyone who does will tell you his wr had alot to do with the poor start. U had guys lining up wrong, running poor/incorrect routes and not looking at the correct time to keep the tempo. Its easy to blame the qb due to the numbers, but only the ppl who really understand the game at a high level know what love was doing early on was nothing short of remarkable and you could see he was gonna be great. He was having to overcome alot early on just to get completions or keep a drive alive due to his wr/te still learning. High football iq guys knew....thats all there is too it. If you couldnt see it, then i suggest learn the game more, at a higher level then a typical fan.
