Yup, you have to actually dodge things, which I think is great. With some builds you can move fast enough that some generic attacks will simply miss without needing to boost. It really helps with varying play styles.
@@rpamungkas13That move gave me so much trouble. On my OG build I got very lucky with his move set and *almost* got him, but that was a one-off. I tried avoiding the sword and fighting from a distance, but that didn't work. I finally got him after changing my build and getting super aggressive with the sword.
For whatever it’s worth I liked watcing your game play videos. I know there was a poll. And I do like your commentary videos. But I miss watching you play, fail, and overcome challenges.
Yes I was thinking that when I've been playing armored core 6. I recorded all the gameplay but didn't commentate on it and it was kind of a shame. I have been thinking of bringing back the gameplay videos but I might just have them in like 2 hour parts or something so they aren't cluttering up peoples feeds. I genuinely enjoyed making them but the problem was that people weren't watching them sadly and I have to follow the viewers to grow the channel.
This game does not have I-frames, which was a great challenge on the Balteus fight for me. What I love is that, unlike EldenSouls, you cannot go somewhere else (and get stronger while maintaining your build) if you hit a wall. You can practice via old missions/training, but really, the game does not want you to be married to a single mech. You can git gud or lucky and brute force it, but I don't think that's the intention. It forces you to try new things constantly. I love that I can save my AC data for older mechs that I liked in case I want to go back to them. Sure you can respec/change weapons/change gear in ER, but I like that AC6 really tries to force you to rethink your entire mech for the specific mission needs.
Loving the AC vids! I'm also new to the AC series. I definitely don't think theres i-frames since it feels like you're always taking chip damage, but I did see a thumbnail of a VaatiVidya video of him trying a hitless run, doubt its possible though. Playing on MnK and for reloading you have to hold R+Weapon button so it feels off, like you said I usually just let it auto reload.
Armored core came before the souls games tbh, souls was a new concept for them. If anything armored core is what started dark souls gameplay
Im not sure but I believe I have heard that there are no I-frrames

Hello there Ravens*

You know Armored Core came first you twit and was hard as hell from the beginning before Souls was ever even thought up.
Horrible take
