Never saw a bird that demanded ‘fine wood working’. 100% are concerned with finding seed. This design is perfect for our own mods. My first one will be with whatever wood I have on hand. Future ones will be from cedar fence slats. Thank you for the instruction and ideas.

Also, there is a difference between a chop saw and a compound sliding miter saw.
@@louislandi938 Yes. A "chop saw" does not slide, so working width is limited. About 6" with a 10" blade.
