I’m very thankful my dad introduced me to Led Zeppelin at a young age. He would always play this song for me. It’s so absolutely beautiful and pulls on my heartstrings every time I give it a listen. Long live rock n’ roll my darlings!

ethereal. record song on continuous loop, close your eyes and listen with all your being....will penetrate the depths of your soul with peace and beauty.....
I may have just located one of the Zep critic creatures. Hope his record goes "Copper" and his band draws his 4 friends as the opener for the Coffee Shop "Concert". Jimmy, on the fly, by ear, in a real Concert tunes by ear into a C6 tuning in a matter of seconds, and gets the show on the road. Can't be a c#nt and tune for an hour. This guy was a true pro. While the rest of us are, well, tapping about him on UA-cam.
In last August, a very special guy played this for me at his house. We both love this song. I'll never forget him, I'll never forget his sensibility when he played this song. I'll never forget the delicated way of how he played guitar. I'll never forget that time we spended together... It brings me tears.
He played this better than on the studio recording, believe it or not. Those harmonics are a beautiful touch and add a hell of a lot to an already perfect track
Thank you for posting this version from the bootleg LP - I'm glad you included all the expository dialog at the beginning, too. Much appreciated! My vinyl LPs were all destroyed in a flood and I haven't heard this since. Thank you!
I was listening to this full boot and just as this started playing I learned that a high school classmate had lost her battle with cancer. What an appropriate song to send someone off to.
They way Robert talls about this place is the same way anyone would talk about that place in their hometown that they really love, it's this little touch of humanity from these people who are oftenly seemed as beyond human that make them more beautiful
klaus thiel no he’s right it was. It just wasn’t included on lz 3, but was shelved for a while until they had the opportunity to insert it into physical graffiti

The track pierces my withered core, making it shine with hope, despite everything. I think you misinterpreted my comment, it was meant to be positive. Sorry to be rude.
At 2:00 min. If any seasoned guitarist listen's to this! He'd know that JIMMY is actually playing with one hand on the neck and thee other actually reaches over to pick the neck string's all in one motion, really! listen for the plucking of the high string's. Not for the average guitar player. People are applauding at the moment of the plucking. That's just ZOSO!!!
The high notes he's playing are harmonics which are played by lightly touching the string with your finger over the fret of the note that you want to play and strumming/picking the string with the other hand just as you would for a non-harmonic note. No reaching or repositioning of either hand, just a light touch on the string.
@deax12: The bootleg titled "25 and 3 Days Old" (a.k.a., "Atomic Asteroid") is from the show they played in Los Angeles on 6/3/73. However, two of the songs on that bootleg, 'That's the Way' and 'Bron-Yr-Aur' (the version on this You Tube video), are from the L.A. 9/4/70 show (a.k.a., "Blueberry Hill").
The Genius of Jimmy Page yes they made the guitar completely wrong so I will retune it so that it is correct and I will write this beautiful song my God how come some people are so blessed
Spelled BRON-YR-AUR sounds like it's sounds, but when robert say's it sound's like BRON-RAR so for us american's if we were asked to spell BRON-YR-AUR we genuinely would get it wrong. Is it me or is this live version so cool when page actually pick's the high string just to make it a little bit cooler!............GOD i love LED-ZEPPELIN!!!!
He's pronouncing it the correct way, which I'm sure is the only way he knows how to pronounce it, seeing that he knows the English translation and that his parents owned the damn cottage. It's just common sense to take his word for it.

How quiet the audience gets...because they get it. :-D. This is one of my all time favorites. It brings up so many (seemingly) contradictory emotions.
+woodstrider5 yeah....especially raucous L.A. got very quiet and respectful...just like a London crowd.

Audiences get quiet when there's a song that's completely new
One of Jimmy's best pieces of work imo.
Jimmy was a conjuror of pure Celtic magic and this song is proof of that. Amazing....
I finally know how to properly pronounce Bron-Yr-Aur. 😂🤘🏻
Bron-rhar

I LOVE how Robert gave the history of Bron Yr Aur!!!!! Beautiful job, Robert!!!!! And, Jimmy, beautifully played!!!! Much love to you both!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hearing this 5 years before they released it on an album. Priceless.
+Ecstynamic The reason Plant is talking a lot is because Page is in the process of tuning his guitar to another tuning which can take a while.
