      X52 is still a good stick, I just upgraded to a X56 just recently after using the X52 as long as you. just the trigger was getting a little sticky, fixable, but i just fancied something newer.

    13:12 in anything but Il2 great battles and XP12 just set your camra to your right stick/HAT or your HOTAS correctly and use that it works perfectly...

    • @WatchMysh
      @WatchMysh  Рік тому

      It works but far from perfectly. You'll get much better results with head tracking especially if you try to look from like 90° to the left all the way to the right.

    please do not play vtol vr in flat screen mode it is so amazing to play in vr and using a mod to play with hotas or in flat screen mode ruins the game but if you got a vr headset and a good pc try it

    • @WatchMysh
      @WatchMysh  11 місяців тому

      Absolutely. Vtol VR really shines... well... in VR. I just played a little but I'll absolutely want to play more even though I own a ton of stuff like almost the complete IL2, some DCS modules, msfs2020 etc...

  • @GreenBlueWalkthrough
    @GreenBlueWalkthrough Рік тому

    16:10 Yeah that's just let of tail rotter/ Vertical stabilized DCS being DCS.... You should not have that problem in XP12 or MSFS2020... But um I could be wrong I have not tried helos in those two yet...

  • @GreenBlueWalkthrough
    @GreenBlueWalkthrough Рік тому

    12:26 If you truly mean that you should have inculed Il2 great battles, Ace combat 7, DCS helicopeters with WT as they all match that description... Although to be honest all of those I mentioned but AC7 are deep sims in their their own way just not acurqite to reality let's say as they all have their own feel to it... But yeah the only major realse ythat does fit that discripestion is Ace combat because it's an arcade flight combat sim(Yes you have to include that as it's just the name of the genre like the Shooter in FPS.) and even then it has harder multiplayer combat then WT and DCS becyuase of the arcade nature like missles burn till they die and you "fly on rails" as the kids say... Also it teachs you mpdern combat avation really well better then WT and DCS do infact although DCS is close... So yeah don't sleep on AC even if your a heard core flight simer.

    I have a x55 rhino stick and throttle plus xbox pads if that helps.

    2:15 that is true on all the sims shown but Il2: Great battles do lack luster look options so you need Head/eye tracking/VR to fly well or get gud a dogfighting looking forward... And I don't know about Falcon and VTOL VR you well need VR for that one Also X-plane 12 just hates anything that is not popular for flight sims so not gamepad support... Also I would recommend Warthunder for just trying to fly as it's free to play and you can use mouse and keyboard tthe only Flight sim where that's even a realistic option and you can just test with a wide selction of planes and even shoot stuff... But yeah I would avoid matchmaking and try DCS: world instead and just mess around with the 2 free craft or just buy a $7 flaming cliffs plane instead my recoumandtion would be the F-15 dues to all of the mods it has which DCS has as much if not more gamepad support that MSFS 2020... Which you need to mess with option wise and you can fly and land with just the gamepad as no flaps toggle...

      Yes. That's why I didn't call it a flight sim and explained why. Yet it still simulates certain aspects of flight and might work as an entry point for interested people. Lots of DCS players started with War Thunder for example.

    14:42 Honestly tghe only reason to use a HOTAS these days is impersion, Training or straight up preference... Like I only use a gamepad a 3rd party one at that with a keybpard and mouse in all the sims mentioned in the video but XP12 and Falcon(Because I have yet to try it.) and oddly only two stand out as just ok... MSFS 2020 and Il2 great battles... why? Same reason both can easly have the same great gamepad input as DCS,WT,AC7 but refuse to add l afew optuions to allow for take off, flight, combat and landing controls which IL2 needs a rick stick look and MSFS 2020 needs a toggle option for flaps and gear... As for XP12 it'sw the ONLY sFlight sim I no that refused to even try to reconize my gamepad! Like what in the world XP!?!?! DO YOUR JOB! But anyway the main reason I use a gamepad over my Saitac X52 I got 20 years ago is covence and it just does not offer me any more function as I would need a keyboard and mouse any way for thse modern flight sims. So yeah before you buy that $100-$500 HOTAS think deeplyu about how much does immersion give you over convence?

  • @GreenBlueWalkthrough
    @GreenBlueWalkthrough Рік тому

    10:42 Lights are prettier though but yeah MSFS 2020 is a much better successor to X-Plane 9 then X-pane 12 is and that is coming form an X-plane 9 fan who never could get into the previous MSFSes... Oh an you MUST have a controller it likes and it CAN"T be a gamepad so look up a controller list first.
