RIP Linard, even though this came up after he passed away I think of it as a nice memorial to him.
RIP Lenard. ✨🌟⭐️🌟✨
That was a sweet gesture meeting up with your fans and hanging out.
That Clark Gable sketch was very well done. Sweet family❣️Thanks for taking us through the museum. It gives us older folks a chance to see these places in detail. Jah is a great way to start the day. He’s so affectionate and expressive. ❤️🙏🏻Thanks for sharing.
That Clark Gable drawing was awesome. I love it too.
Jordan, Thank you for the “Walk-Around-Vlogs.” I love when you add detailed history, as there are very very few people that do what you do with interest.
Oh yea. Jordan does his homework for his vlogs like nobody else!
Jordan,
You have NO idea how your work touches people. You have such an amazing life. You have done/doing everything you have wanted and want to do. You will get your just reward
Jjust want to emphasize how much I appreciate you.
Thank you.
Blessings.
Franny P.
This is one of the best videos I've seen on utube!! I'm a history buff also and Jordan, you are the Best!!!!! Thanks for a pleasant and educational day!!! Sally
Another great video. I have loved this old Hollywood stuff forever. Must be nice to wake up next to Jah every day.
Thank you for all the info on Cecille B. Demille. He has given so much money to Native American programs. As I was growing up on the reservation, we would get all these clothes or school supplies & I remember my dorm parents would say "This is from the Cecille B. Demille funds." Wow! Now I know about him through. Thanks Jordan.
Love ya,
Roxanne Yellowhorse Jarred
Thank you SO much for the tours of ALL the places I've wanted to go and PROBABLY will not get the opportunity. Keep going and be safe out there. PEACE :)
Thank you for supporting the Girl Scouts. For 10 years, I was a Girl Scout. Best experiences ever. Even went to a 2 wk sleep away Girl Scout Camp every year. Great memories. Wish they were more active today.
First time I had s'mores!
JAH we know you are a superstar. Have a great day. ❤️☮️🤪🐕
You’ve definitely earned my subscription just from this video alone please keep bringing this history to your channel so that people can see what some of us cherish
Great Hollywood Heritage Museum tour! Thank YOU, Jordan. You are a wonderful teacher! We all learn so much from you!
My senior thesis for my History degree was about early American film, including Intolerance. I’ve always been fascinated with the golden age of cinema, thanks to my mom, who was a huge movie buff. After school, I moved L.A. to work in the industry. My parents and I actually tried to visit the Lansky Barn when they came out for a visit - but it was closed! I feel like Ive seen it now thanks to this video 👍
I love your shows. I watch you most every day. I love history so your programs just mean so much to me. Thank you for all the efforts you go through to give us such wonderful information about our history as a country. I also love your little dog.
Cool that you met up with some fans. Thanks for supporting Girl Scouts. I was star struck that my client that I clean for bought some for her niece who happens to be Gwen Stefani. Great vlog as usual.
Thanks for this Vlog, Jordan. I left SoCal after 35 years of living there. I remember when they moved the "barn" to Highland but, I never had the chance to see the museum. Whenever I visit it's usually to Palm Springs to see my friends. After seeing your walk I must make the trip to Hollywood again.
Absolutely amazing footage I’m so glad you did this video everyone should make it a point to go and see this museum thank you so much for bringing it to UA-cam where those of us who live on the East Coast can see it thank you
Thanks for bringing us through some of the oldies with Paramont pictures very much appreciated

+Catherine Allan thanks!
I went to the Brown Derby in the 1960`s ,my grandparents lived in LA so we went there as my grandma told me they have seen movie stars there. ;) no,we didn't see any
Love you Jordan! Thanks for the great videos!
They can say what they want; his work speaks for itself!
This was my favorite so far! I still have a lot to binge lol
Thank you for this particular vlog it's a true film history lesson.
incredible vlog jordan!!!!!! always my favorites!!!!!!!
You are so lucky to go to these PLACES THANK YOU
These videos are really scratching my itch to travel during this covid-19 pandemic, thanks for all that you do
Watching this again because there is so much to see! I'm still hung up on deMille actually moving the barn each time. That is sooo expensive. Would have to been cheaper to rebuild each time. I looked up your Progressive commercial -- there was too much controversy over that ad so it aired very little. What clips I did see were very brief and included a large group of actors all together. I couldn't pick you out. But we have you everyday here on this channel. This here is amazing old time movie history. The Golden Age. So cool.
Still catching up on your older vlogs. This was awesome! Such history. You have definitely found your calling Jordan-I love your enthusiasm!
I love your Vlogs and your little dog is so friggen adorable. You treat him like a little bro so cute lol
The first thing i saw when you walked in the door was that lamp on DeMille's desk. I know its certainly not original but i have the exact same one in my living room. Its amazing to see the birthplace of movie making in this very building. Great vlog.
everything you do mr'jordan is awesome thanks man
This makes me sad for Lenard’s family 😞 My best wishes to them. RIP ❤️
The looks of the general material things from back then are amazing compared to modern things such as chairs and cameras and even shoes are so different so authentic it’s amazing to me
Great vlog man.
Very informative. I can tell you are a history nerd like me. Being obsessive with history is an acceptable nerd status. Pure passion. I can dig it.
WOW !!! A must for my next visit.
The Buster Keaton projector is from his mansion behind the Beverly Hills Hotel. Cary Grant later bought his mansion. Good to see they donated it so we can see it.
I was born in 1947 and I had the benefit of becoming exposed to the movies and music of the era of my parents and everything since then. It is very nice to see remnants and artifacts of the by-gone eras and see where filming sets were and see costumes from films I had seen as a kid.
I do understand why becoming friends with Shelly Winters and meeting people along the way, who had stories to tell about these once famous stars, are so important to you. Thanks for the memories. My uncle had dated Ann Blyth from ” Kismet“ and also had many photos and home movies of people like JFK, which amazingly enough, he got right up to the car and got close-ups of him without being stopped by the secret service. Of course, there are stories we all can tell if people are interested; however, but for many, the past has no inspiration or appeal to them. Continued good success.
WOW !! THAT'S WONDERFUL-!
YOU SHOULD CONTACT THE "SPA GUY" HERE ON UA-cam HE WOULD PROBABLY MAKE SOME VIDEOS WITH ALL THE TREASURES YOU HAVE !! VERY INTERESTING.
LOVE N BLESSINGS AND HOPE YOU CAN SHARE SOON !!
I’m speechless......this was such a PRECIOUS Vlog,,, the Heritage Museum is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! I cant wait to go there myself,,,I cannot say THANK YOU enough Jordan..... ;-)

I was told by my step grandmother ; who was raised in NY NY beginning of 19th century Her mother worked for the Schubert theatre as a seamstress My step grandmother & husband sold a Packard to Cary Grant who ; from what I read: drove it around NY city for a while THEN Grant & a buddy drove that Packard out to Hollywood were Grant got offers to do motion pictures in Hollywood My step grandmother told me that story when she was 85 yrs old! She use to see Cary Grant in NY when he doing BoardWay

Jah is so funny. Great information and history wherever you take viewers .Thank you
You must take a trip to KC.
There is an Orval Hixon museum here, plus a ton of Walt History. They are working on restoring the Ginger Rogers home. We have tons of great jazz here, and many stars who made their way out west, including Harlow and Disney.
Anyhos...your video has me all nerdin out right now. What an incredible museum. My family and I are travelling back to CA in June to see family, do some Walt History, and visit Disneyland. If I have time while I'm in LA, I most definitely want yo see this place in person.

Love your vlog! Thanks for sharing your finds and stories.
Great video. I take interest and get emotional about history and nostalgia as well.
Thanks Jordan; like you, I also am a fan of history, this was indeed awesome. My dad was born in Los Angeles in 1927, his father was working in Hollywood (building sets) who knows, could have even worked around some of those same structures. (?)
I thoroughly enjoyed this trip down memory lane.
VERY COOL JORDAN!!! I L💗VE Your Vlogs Jordan. Theyre ALL SO ENTERTAINING & INFORMATIONAL!!!!! You TOTALLY ROCK Jordan!!!!
Thank you, Angel
I have been searching to find out what happened to Harold LLoyd’s ornaments and now I know where a few are! I’m kicking myself for not going last time I was in town.
I lived in Hollywood as a child from 1954 to 1960. My dad worked for Max Factor making theatrical make up. I remember Hollywood Blvd . Was the neighborhood shopping district. There were dress shops, shoe stores like Karl's Shoes. Harry Karl was married to Debbie Reynolds. He ran his business into bankruptcy and mismanaged her money. She was broke after they divorced. I remember Hollywood Blvd before stars were placed in the sidewalk. The Broadway Department store was a mainstay. Fredrick's of Hollywood had sexy lingerie in the window. There was a Newberry Dime store and the Magic store. I loved getting an Orange Julius drink near the Egyptian Theater. I saw Ben But at that theater. It was a nice area in the 1950's. It makes me sad to see it in your videos as it is today.
Great Vlog as always. Especially enjoyed the Hollywood Heritage Museum.
THANKS.GREAT INFORMATION.

I love history too! And I love following you and iah. 😊is so cute😃
Hello Jordan, I just stumbled across your vlog about the Hollywood Heritage Museum. I was all set to do some volunteer work there when the pandemic hit. I thought I’d give you another little bit of information about the barn. After it was moved to the Paramount lot, at one time it was used as the employee gym. My mother had worked at Paramont for the head of the Casting Department and she and my dad took fencing lessons in the barn. My dad used to tell me how he remembered when it was at its original location. When my parents were still living we had driven by the museum but they never had the opportunity to go inside, and I know they would’ve loved to do that. As a child I often went with my mom to the Paramount lot to visit friends of hers who still worked there. I guess that’s where my love of film came from, and I ended up working at Warner Bros. for 37 years!
It's a shame that it's only open on the weekends. Maybe your volunteering there will help them to open on week days too.
Love that museum, great stuff! Great video
Loved It ! Great Job !
This was the vlog that got me hooked on your channel. Thank you Jordan for your effort, and for so many equally enjoyable editions
awesome videos love it and history
Enjoyed the tour.
Loved this one!
Vblogging into the ladies' room is some new level of commitment. I've been to that barn a few times but I think I learned more with this video, because my attention is too scattered when I'm there. It is a great place with a fascinating history. While there will always be fans and historians out there, there's not enough actual Hollywood artifacts on permanent display, as found here.
I didn’t see anything about Clara Bow. Weird! GREAT vlog, Jordan!!
This was great. I really enjoyed it.
I totally enjoyed this vlog .some years back I was there ,but didn't get to go inside, the Museum was closed 😒 so it's kinda part 2.. too my part 1.. thanks Jordan.😄
PS ...Jack Gilbert is also one of my favorites😍
Loved this vlog Jordan. I was surprised though that there was nothing on William Desmond Taylor.
thats one of the best museum s i have seen yet thanks m. jordan
hi jah
