1) CATV RF Off the Air antenna digital ATSC signal Tuner Decoder
2) CABLE TV Digital DVB-C Annex B QAM 64/256 Tuner Decoder.

This decoder can decode ATSC and Clear QAM Modulated RF.
The decoder has 4 Mager Outputs :
1) HDMI output up to 1080p60
2) YPbPr component Audio Video Output up to 1080i (RCA connectors )
3) CVBS Analog Baseband Video and Audio output (RCA connectors)
4) CATV RF Analog Output NTSC/PALchannel 3 and 4 ( Application - Digital RF to Analog NTSC /PAL converter)
It could be used for the following applications :
1) Decoding ATSC OFF the Air signal from the Antena
ATSC to HDMI
ATSC to YPbPr
ATSC to CVBS Digital to Analog conversion
ATSC to ANALOG RF CH 3/4 as a Digital to Analog converter

As I mention, this is the best choice: H-STB-QAM-ATSC
This tuner has QAM RF input, you can decode any program and it has also ANALOG RF output channel 3 or 4
If you need a different analog channel than 3/4 we would need to add an additional Analog Agile modulator as a second box. It would take the composite Video Audio from the first STB decoder and output and agile RF analog NTSC or PAL Channel.

Great video. You just answered so many questions I had about Over The Air devices that have been puzzling me for the last several weeks. This video is down to earth, which is exactly what I was looking for. You have a wonderful attitude and a pleasant way of explaining things. Thank you.
The thing that I like about all STBs is the Recording function. Most of the time I can't watch something when it air on TV but i use TIMER so I can watch it later.
The cardboard packaging graphic design looks like something from Microsoft Paint, but that Thor Tuner seems to be high quality. :)
The user interface looks exactly the same as the Mediasonic Homework ATSC tuner box that Antenna Man reviewed on his channel earlier this past week

Robbie also I use for recording an ide harddrive from a computer with a conversion cable. Now you can use older harddrives for recording.
This looks like a nice thing to own ... especially if the internet were to go down.
Haven't seen in a long time a STB with component output. The HD models that I've seen have RCA or SCART output for CRT and HDMI and the 4K models have only HDMI out.
Correction when recording a program with this device. When you're recording something, you can watch other TV channels if they broadcast on the same RF channel as the channel you're recording.

Is there a way to extract the entire mux (6-8 digital tv channels) in mpeg4 ts format from the usb port, instead of recording one tv channel on USB stick, via tvheadend media server on Linux PC?
I have reorded a TS stream with all channels on DVB s. But dont know what program would show each program. I did not find it in VLC. TVheadend was a Headache

So you are saying that you recorded all ts channels via usb port on a cheap dvb-s2 receiver?
Do you remember any details? I believe vdr (enigma2 derivative) could be more compatible than tvheadend with the regular $20 dvb-s2 receivers from AliExpress. Those dvb-s2 receivers likely also run an enigma2 variant.

Does anyone know where I can get a digital set top box that does clear QAM but also picks up some analog channels like my Vizio TV does I got 51 analog channels on this cable system and 31 digital channels I can’t seem to find a set top box that does the same thing my Vizio TV does
I haven't seen one that does analog and digital. Only thing I could think of is TVs that have analog and digital tuners. But then there's no PVR

Great device. Are there any combo set top-boxes available in North America? So you can receive both satellite and OTA on the same receiver. In Europe you can easily find a combo receiver.

I have a question: I recorded the Indy 500 this year and I can watch it flawlessly on my PVR. I the problem I have is I accidentally changed the file name and now I can’t transfer the file at all to my computer. Is there any way I can get the computer to recognize the file?
change the .ts file back to .ts when you click on rename file

You will need something like this amzn.to/3G7sa83 and a old VCR or RF modulator to convert it to RCA
