God i love this bike, just picked mine up on tuesday. Have about 300mi of canyon riding on it so far. Stepped up from a 2016 zx6r. Loving every minute. Enjoy dude!
I'm going back and fourth between a 25 KRT zx10r or an S1k about a 7k difference in price. But the S1k is 3.9 apr and the ZX10 is 8.9 so there would be a 50 dollar difference in the payment.
I had the S1K on my list also. I had given myself $8000 for mods and insurance. I realized I couldn’t mod the S1K without voiding the warranty. I know, I know, just saying. what the dealers would allow me to get away with was a factor.
@@Broken-six Honestly I think I'm going with the ZX10 like you said for what you're paying for the ZX10 your getting alot for your money. Quick shifter, cruise control almost everything the S1k has minus heated grips. Don't get me wrong I rode the S1k it's an amazing machine no question. I do get concerned with reliability on the S1k Japanese reliability is unmatched.
@@chriscook7219 yeah, I kept in mind how much I had to finish the whole project. I have to say that a dynotune, flash, exhaust, velocity stacks, and block off plates. Just under 3k. I could stop here and it would be a killer bike. Money speaking, not bad. I’m gonna do a 5000 mile review. Next month maybe.
always wanted a zx-7, I was liter bike shopping. zx10r was on the top of my list for Japanese bikes. Perfect storm! I put my money down in December! She is not disappointing. great bike. Getting dynotuned this week!
@@Broken-sixI have a 90 ZX-7 Green, White and Blue remote control motorcycle I bought back in 91, Royal made an official license, 90 ZX-7, 1:5 scale, back in the days.
Give 2-WheelDynoWorks in Washington a call. Chat with Pat, please tell him Nio sent you sir! The flash for this machine was developed by a professional tuner and racer on his personal machine. His name is Nate and he is the in house tuner there. Absolutely top shelf tuning!
Funny you said that! I watch their vids, saw the zx10 they did. They were at the top of my list of flash services to consider. That’s awesome. Now to purchase the exhaust. I’m getting a long can, thinking about a spark force evo. Surprising how many exhausts only come in carbon fiber. The 40th anniversary bike needs a silver exhaust. Small problems. I’d get grave’s or Akra, but only carbon!
@@Broken-six Spark exhuasts are great, i have a 3/4 cat delete Force titanium on my 22 ZX10R. This can is now available only with a full system, the 3/4 slipon now comes with the evo muffler. They look similar but the previous model has an alu endcap and no indentation in the can itself.
@@Sunedosa dude, I ordered it, paid for it. They sold me the original force in 3/4. 4 days later they called me and asked for another $50. I thought that was crazy, asked them to honor the price they gave me. They said what are you gonna do, buy an inferior product over $50? I thought it wasn’t right, we emailed back and forth. They said split it, send us $25. I said you’re gonna miss a sale, and all my future business over $50.. I wouldn’t pay, they wouldn’t sell it to me. Got my money refunded. Bought an Arrow. The people who sell Spark(won’t mention their name) missed out on a lot of free advertising. Not to mention, I get a new bike every couple years. If I liked the spark, I might have bought them for future bikes. Now I don’t want to deal with their distributor in the US, and there’s only one. Looks like the only way I’ll ever have a Spark is if I buy one overseas!
@@Broken-six That's really crappy, i bought mine from an italian ebay vendor instead of going wth the local distributor. Saved me some time and money but i'm in europe and there's no added customs/import fee within the EC. Dealers adding additional costs after a deal has been made suck, they should have honored your agreement instead of trying to hold your order hostage .
@@Sunedosa Yeah, there were none on EBay for sale, so I contacted the big European exhaust sellers and asked for a price. They were selling them for $900 - $950. When I asked, and there were none for sale, they quoted me $1200-$1450. Guess it wasn’t meant to be! I did post vids of my Arrow, if you’re interested. It looks and sounds good. I’m afraid it will be insane when I take the baffle out. I’m leaving it in, until I get a tune!
I review and ride a lot of bikes. I was very scared that I was overly influenced by the paint. I love the Rsv4, and was choosing between the two. The more I have it the more I fall in love. I just did a video, New liter bikes make great road bikes. That is mainly inspired by this bike. It is so good on the street, I haven’t taken it on the track, and I wasn’t sure if I would spend much track time. This bike is a winner, if you can afford one pull the trigger!
I ordered mine last week. I wanted black ( not as pretty as yours) My only gripe, is why they dont have a gas gauge 😢. Great video, that is a beautiful bike.
That’s my complaint too but you can have it show you how many gallons you used while riding so when I use about 3.5 out of the 4.5 gallon tank I go fill up. Afterwards I reset it. Pretty much this way I can tell when I need gas way before my gas light comes on
yeah, I reset it every time I fill up. there is the low fuel light also. Isn’t it bizarre that it will tell you how much fuel you’ve. used, but not fuel remaining? I was annoyed at first, but the bike is sooo good! I can’t stay mad, so good!
Yes, I was kinda frustrated about it at first myself, especially with the price we paid. On the other hand everything else about the bike I absolutely love. Only had it for two weeks but I put almost 400 miles on it already, every time I get a nice day here in NJ I take her out even in the rain to scratch my riding itch lmao.
yeah love that, I’m having hard time picking an exhaust. I want a long titanium can 3/4 sysytem. I ordered a spark, and 4 days after I paid for it. get this, they said the distributor wants another $50. 7 emails later, and I had to cancel out of principal.

@@Broken-six exactly and you know parts are going to be super expensive paying out of pocket. The M1000RR motor is 15k just as a reference.
@@chriscook7219 yes, the M1k may be the better bike. I am very happy with the performance I get for what I paid. Did you make a decision?
