    I love that odyssey actually took the time to have the engineer explain how and why the internals are built the way they were and what problems they solved in the process. Super simple basic design with a killer execution and and durability. Why odyssey is always top of their industry.

    Some great engineering at odyssey. It’s a breath of fresh air to see new designs and not just copy and paste and rebrand the same technology

    Just got this hub and watched this video. A little piece of advice for anyone trying this with a multi-tool (the only thing I had with a 2.5mm was the Park multi-tool), you can open up the tool and remove the 2.5mm key. It’s very easy to turn the grub screw and you really don’t need any leverage.
    Also I doubt anyone is adjusting their freecoaster on the fly, so no need to buy a stand alone 2.5mm to use one time.

    Is it possible to remove all slack with this design? Just wondering how far the spacers will go without breaking the spacers.

    Hmm. I’d get one if it had 90-0° adjustment. Rock up to the park and warm up with some fakie jibs in full slack mode. Then get moving in the bowl and use pedal pressure with it cranked right up like a cassette. It can’t be hard to make that happen. Lots of people like both, nobody like switching out a wheel.

    what would happen if i took out the gap mechanism? will i add like 200 degress of slack or will i break the hub ?

    Ordered it a few days ago , couldn’t wait just got it fitted it adjusted the slack and now the grub screw has fell inside the hub 🤷🏼‍♂️ what’s that about

    Why you didnt include that black circle which sits in the hub shell that binds with the clutch . What its used for?

    I just got a clutch V2. Right now the gap/slack, is about a 1/4 turn. Much too far for me. How many turns of the grubscrew would reduce it to a q/8 gap? I don't want to turn it too much and have it drop out the bottom.

    Has anyone experimented with freecoasters with one way bearings?

    plz answer this odyssey. the plastic in the little whole where you adjust the slack follows around when the wheel is turning. what can i do ?! and is it bad for the hub?

      I have the same problem. The grub screw is stuck on the inside of the hub so when I turn it it doesn't appear

      try place your allen key on the plastic and slowly move the wheel to try and get to the grub screw

      @traxxasrc10 6 років тому

      That’s normal you just gotta turn it with the Allen key or a tool you got that can grab it

      Fabian Garcia just test it , move the allen key one way and test how much slack it has

    Hey Odyssey!
    I got a friend who is afraid to tighten the screw to the gap mecanism too much (so that the screw will pop out in between the "washers")
    Can that happen?
