You guys are nuts, that's why we love it. You must have heard Franco (Africa's finest guitarist), his Bolero's are very unique as opposed to his Soukous style. Well I'm upping my chilli intake and hope to become more authentic, great video. UK lockdown fan.
Love the flamenco style,Paco de Lucia was my favourite, guitar player, also his student,Vicent de Amico, the technique this kind of players have is flabbergasted, love all the Gypsy kings music from the 90s ,it's an amazing style, definitely will subscribe his channel
Fantastic!! Thx. Just joined Andrea’s channel. Working on transitioning between chords and scaling but struggling. Can you in provide a lesson with focus just on that. I would be happy to be able to easily transition between A harmonic minor scale and the four chords. Thx!
Please, do more of that content. Flamenco/spanish kind of guitar playing is unique and it has a lot of fans around the world. If you could do more videos on the different positions of the phrygian/flamenco mode, how to sound more spanish and all, that would be amazing.
Sean and Andres!! What a cool f'ng vid!! This probably takes the top spot as my new favorite intro!! I understand the scales being played here. I understand the chords being used. But can one of you guys PLEASE! help me out with the rhythm that Sean is playing? Some kind of breakdown of exactly what is happening in that strumming pattern! I'll keep taking cracks at it but I know my right hand usually refuses to cooperate! Help!!!
That was a great and very helpful lesson, I subscribed to Andres' channel, could you guys do more lessons on spanish guitar style? Like right hand techniques, other soloing tips :) Thanks a lot, keep up with the good work ! ^^
You are an excellent pair to entertain! You taught me in 5 minutes how to pretend I can play "Spanish guitar" ( I guess it's a term for styles developed in spain and in South America - so not classical guitar pieces).
In the last decades flamenco has merged a lot with blues, jazz, salsa, pop, you name it. They call it fusion. Nowadays you can play nearly any scale and it will sound familiar. No one will punch you in Southern Spain for mixing flamenco with other styles, only in the flamenco clubs they might beat you, but not in the streets. Most flamenco street musicians, foreigners or natives, are pretty bad anyways
I have one but I’ve gotten feedback in the past to use the steel string because it has the fret inlays and people said it was easier to follow along with the markers.
Hello! Great vid as always. Two questions: 1) Is this the chord progression: i - VII - VI - V ? 2) Can you give some other chord progressions for this type of music please? Thanks!
Personally i only play in harmonic minor because the natural one sounds too boring and doesn't really make sense since having a minor 7th would sound dissonant with a V chord
Sean and Spanish?? Spanish and Sean?? Well, okay, I guess, maybe, sort of type of thing. What I'd really like to see is Sean strapping on some of those Spanish heels and dance the Flamenco while playing the castanet. He already looks the part, does he not??
TL;DW
minor pentatonic - don't use
harmonic minor - do use
Check!
This made me want to pick up my Classical Guitar again! Thanks my man!
Hopefully we'll have more soon!
Ahh definitely my man!
Phrygian dominant sounds sweet on this too. I also dream of going to southern España in search of a guitar.
Someday!!
2:37 began a tremendous duo thing. I LOVE IT!
Always a fun time jammin :)
Sean Daniel true! This stuff really makes me wanna learn to solo.
Man it's so cool to see you guys playing together. Magic.
Yeah hopefully he'll start being on the channel more often :)
Love the breakdown of the phrygian and harmonic scales over the chords.
Andres, you are a fantastic musician. Love the last video you were in on Seans channel, too cool. I subscribed!
Glad you liked it!
Love you bro!
My man!
I love Harmonic minor scale and Phrygian mode! That was a sweet demo.
Thanks for watching!

Paco is the man. Such a legend.
Wow! Excellent!
Awesome. I've been planning on learning some of this stuff. Can't wait to play the cool Flamenco section of Sidewinder.
Definitely a fun thing to play.
This series with you and other youtubers is so cool.
Thank you for this! This video was such an amazing help to me! Please give us more Spanish videos or more “how to (or not to)” videos.
Definitely will be having Andres on again soon.
This is soooo helpful, Thanks SEAN!!

Great idea for a video!
Andrea's get this man a nylon string and throw all his picks away!!!
Good video Andrea and Sean.
Thanks Lee!

Sean Daniel Much Appreciated!

Hey Sean. Please come out with more how to fake playing the piano. I love those!
Definitely been meaning to make another one, I'm on it!
That D minor key... got dat sultans of swing feel
It does indeed!
I subscribed at Andres, nice lesson guys.
Thanks so much! We'll have to have him back on!
When I'm not spending my time commenting under wielding videos on what they do wrong I watch Sean.
I'm honored :)
I wish i could play with sean someday😉
Someday!
Awesome. Bring andres back for more episodes.🍯
Oh for sure :)
0:00, 2:42, and 9:55 are the best parts in my opinion
Just subscribed to Andres channel. What a guy. Love from New Zealand
Thanks so much! Cheers from the US!
thanks!
That guy is great!! Way to spice up the channel!
He'll be back on later this week :)
Tenemos que tocar en Cadiz en Andalusia
You got a show there?

Thanks! So if it's a 4 count strum, it's all just kind of down and up strokes and then a hard mute on the 3, so like 1 + 2 + X + 4 +
Must make him cry. Pl are do more with him. Also it’s cool no accent pillows.
Andres is great. We'll definitely be doing more vids soon.
That was a great and very helpful lesson, I subscribed to Andres' channel, could you guys do more lessons on spanish guitar style? Like right hand techniques, other soloing tips :) Thanks a lot, keep up with the good work ! ^^
For sure will have more coming soon!
Man those flamenco vibes are tasty.
Andres is the man.
@@seandaniel23 I went on such a minor harmonic bender after watching this video. Didn't even know what it was before, now I'm in love.
I use E Phrygian Dominant which is A, B, C, D, E, F, and G# for the true Andalusian flavour.
Where did the that pick come from at 7:40? Am I seeing ****?
It's just his nail but he'll hold his fingers differently depending on what he's playing
What sean said !
Good job spreading good music and good vibes
Thanks David, I'll keep em coming!
Now...thAt....was wild
Thanks for watching Eric!
Yeah you're good at teaching got that
So cool to hear!

Welcome to the party!
Most epic'est flamenco solo of all time at the end. You're welcome.
Andres is the man!
Where can I learn the part ? (2:40)
Is the Phrygian dom. same as Harmonic minor scale???
Yes! pretty much anyway. It's the 5th 'mode' of the harmonic minor scale, so it's the same notes.
You are an excellent pair to entertain! You taught me in 5 minutes how to pretend I can play "Spanish guitar" ( I guess it's a term for styles developed in spain and in South America - so not classical guitar pieces).
Thanks so much! More vids coming soon!
What make is the nylon
Cordoba C7
Is it still okay to play the g sharp over the g major chord moment?
For sure!
Another great video! You two should make at least 1 video a week together. And don't cry for me Andres, I subscribed to your channel yesterday. ;)
Glad you liked it! He'll be back :)
Subbed Spanish guitar style
He's the man!

For sure, just making a joke :)
What's the brand of the steel string guitar?
Taylor GA3
Phrygian awesome El Maestro de la Seducion
Lol,you crack me up ,😀😀!
Thanks for watching Mike!
the first half reminded me of
"Clavar La Espada" from the Bleach anime soundtrack.
Maybe start by using a nylon strings?
I have one but I’ve gotten feedback in the past to use the steel string because it has the fret inlays and people said it was easier to follow along with the markers.
Hello! Great vid as always. Two questions:
1) Is this the chord progression: i - VII - VI - V ?
2) Can you give some other chord progressions for this type of music please? Thanks!
Yup you're right. And that's a good idea for another video!
Loved Andres! Sub’d over at his place as suggested. 😊
Awesome! Hope you like his vids!
Personally i only play in harmonic minor because the natural one sounds too boring and doesn't really make sense since having a minor 7th would sound dissonant with a V chord
Love the harmonic minor!
I'll sub. I need some Spanish Guitar lessons.
Rock em out Jeremy!
Enjoy the lesson, enjoy the performance and enjoy the wits lol.
Thanks for checking it out!
This is much better than the music is win video about Spanish guitar that it was just disrispectful...
The greatest compliment I've gotten.
did you ever get your leather jacket?
Still on the search!
no sabes nada de la guitarra española. Just joking. Figured someone should start a salty Spanish guitar thread
RickWalton Si, tienes que sentir la Flamenco 💃 😁
Haha, guilty
Sean Daniel now do a tango guitar video
Do they call it “shredding” in spain? Because this guy shreds. Thanks Sean, we’ll get there lol
I'll have to ask him :)
When you're a beginner and harmonic minor more than you pentatonic minor
You're going places!
Lets see, Stairway to Heaven, CAlif Dreaming, Aqualung, I could go on....
Sean and Spanish?? Spanish and Sean?? Well, okay, I guess, maybe, sort of type of thing. What I'd really like to see is Sean strapping on some of those Spanish heels and dance the Flamenco while playing the castanet. He already looks the part, does he not??
I'll have to start practicing!
Okay, but please leave out the single rose on a stem clinched between your teeth. That might be a bit much.
these guys are hilarious
Im his 1000 follower
You better let him know that :)
Blake!!!!!!!! This is important!!! I need to address it in my next video!!!!!
No problem for a fellow flamenco player
Those are the worst Flamenco lessons ever! I love it! 🤣
And they're only getting worse!
This is all good.
But, if you're Willie Nelson. You do whatever you want on that Classical Guit ;)
Willie does what he wants.
Including his own Willie
Andres is not alternating fingers my classical teacher would lose his mind...
I'm gonna give him a hard time about this one :)
@@seandaniel23 to a point he does and then he sticks on the "i" finger or index for way too long...but I love this video and all the other ones.
This didn’t flamenco. What about the finger picking and the 12/4 time signature
Gotta save something for the next vid.
Omg.your bro,is nasty.his right hand is crazy
His show is really amazing too.
Stop having fun already
Pewdiepie in 10 years.
:)
Yes i want to see him cry lol jk
Haha, make him!
IF he's using a pick, it's not flamenco, not the attack, not the dynamics....kinda to make it obvious....
He's definitely not
So much better without Dovydas
With that right hand picking technique Andreas you will have tendon problems in 10 years and won’t be able to play guitar again
I'll let him know :)
nick parkin thank you you are right, i forgot to mention I am not a flamenco player but I wanted to talk about this scale. Thanks for the advise
im just looking out for him I want him and his guitar to live a long fruitful life
Is it just me or did anyone else feel the sexual tension.
Haha, god I hope it's just you.
