Thank you so much for this information. I just purchased two and am looking forward to getting them set up. I have access and the space, is there a limit to how much my panels can supply without hurting the inverter? Thank you from San Diego, California
@@viocaia i have the same inverter like you have and I'm using a 24v 180AH system LiFePO4 batteries. It increases my harvest from 1.5KW per day to 4KW. I only have 1.2KW panels at the moment.
Thank you for putting out this really useful video. Do you know if this inverter can work in conjunction with a standard grid tie inverter, i.e. added to an existing grid solar tie system?
@@viocaia Thank you for the quick reply! Just to confirm you already have this inverter working with another, grid tie inverter only (such an en Growatt or solis) on the same circuit? Thanks again:)
@@StartledPancake No, I didn't use it with another grid tied inverter, because this one it's already on grid, but I'm pretty sure it can work with any other inverter, you see, SUN GTIL2 it's just ''reading'' the wave on the line...I mean you can use it even out of the grid as long there is pilot 50/60Hz inverter...
@@viocaia ah brilliant, just ordered the 22-65v 1000w version to go with my small solar shed.. Going to have to extend the sensor cable because my electric meter is 29m away lol.. This is going to save me having cables everywhere from the inverter to the fridge freezer, TV, router, NAS, Alexa's, CCTV system etc.. Now what to do with the existing inverter lol

I have 1350W PV.. and it's working fine.
Yes they are very good and easy to use with solar and battery.
I wish to have batteries for the night..It could double the harvest..someday maybe!

@@akimi0222 I\ll do that as soon as I can afford, it's a need!

It's working , it's a very versatile inverter.

Can i know how do you connect the Sonoff Pow?
Sun GTIL Output --> output [Sonoff] input ->> Wall
confused.
Look here ua-cam.com/video/Iqy0W1FW42M/v-deo.html
Buna!Ati avut vreodata pròbleme cu distribuitorul de energie electrica din cauza acestui invertor?
Nu..fiindca nu ''scapa'' extra pe retea..
can i connect 48v 800w wind turbine via charge controller or rectifier?
I think so..but look around there are special models for wind turbine, 3 phases input.
@@viocaia it's much expensive
while this solar is more less cost
@@allzzizzwellzz5841 Probably if you use a rectifier bridge to DC..or a direct DC turbine..it should work..
Are these stackable on the same phase on the grid side?
Yes, they are.

@@evelbsstudio I'm not sure if you can use the same sensor for both inverters...but for sure you can use two of them on the same phase
