is this eco friendly?? the disposable tray? Crystals? are they good for the environment?
Yes, they pride themselves on being eco friendly.
The crystals are silica, which I believe isn't sustainably produced if I'm not mistaken. They look about the size of the pellets I use tho! So what I'd do is use the silica stuff for the first month or so (just so its not wasted) or even mix it with my current litter until u run out or something. Then I would go back and buy pellets! I found a brand that makes them out of walnut shells??? SO COOL :D Maybe try using small amounts of it to make sure it works with the machine before going full send tho, as Idk if it might break it.

I don't like being forced to use crystal litter, I use wood pellets as it seems less harmful to the environment to me personally.
