I forgot Grant Imahara was on an episode of Man At Arms.
Rest In Peace good sir
I like the people that comment on this and think they know more about swords than a blacksmith that's been smithing for 30 years
***** no, ***** comment was acceptable to me, and it's my comment section, so I'm right
***** obviously he is not a certified blacksmith, he is fooling around the powerhammer and anvil like he forges once a month for a couple of hours. And you can see he is more the cut and weld guy on his other videos.
Hans Kruger actually he's master blacksmith
***** Certified by which institution in which country?
Hans Kruger nears as i can tell he apprenticed and after a few hours of research the only certification i have found, that isn't even required here in the U.S. (i limited my search to that since he lives in SoCal) is a Farrier from AFA (American Farriers Association). I could be wrong tho. Thats all i've found, nothing attached to his name but like i said, i haven't found anything saying you need to certified. Clearly he knows what he is doing and not just "fooling around on the power hammer and anvil". he doesn't just forge once a month too. this is his job. he gets commissions all the time.
*THIS IS SPARTAAAAAA*
Sparta your ass🤣
It's awe-some , I love it that you test your creations at the end of each video, it makes the weapon feel even more real to us watching.
You guys are completely missing the point here. He makes PROPS. Do you understand? He's not interested in making it historically accurate, he's making it accurate to the movie.
Scott Blubaugh " so his swords are not real?
@@sgt_malice4521 its real ,hes copying the sword from the movie not from the history
There are many movies on Hindu mythology and many weapons are there which they can forge them so why not copying some from them
@@vaibhavmanjrekar1600 Because they make weapons from movies and video games, not mythology or history.
@@marcfrancoleong9383 The sword from history and movies are real.
I'd still like to see the Scissor blade from Kill La Kill
that Minotaur costume was so so wrong! LOL
Ernesto Rodriguez definitely not expecting that at all
XD when he said "this is man at arms" I was thinking "THIS IS SPARTA!!"
BOTH!!!! DO BOTH!
Yeah! both are pretty awesome but its little unreal to make both in one episode) - it would be cool to do so: next episode about Frostmourne and the next one about Garrosh's Axe)
and the third one about Illidans Blades)))
Daniel Shephaard I'd love to see both Frostmourne and Gorehowl made!
I mean Frostmourne is basically a work of art with all the details put into it, and it's a big sword (which is always fun). Gorehowl is less complex in terms of details, but has a bunch of nasty spikes on it and many different textures, and seeing how to achieve that would be great too.
The Twin Blades of Azinroth though (aka. Illidan's blades) are crazy big things to make. I mean they're basically two shields with two two-handed swords attached to each of them. Crazy stuff, but it would be really interesting to see if they can be crafted as usable weapons - without scaling them down.
I mean just look at the size of those things:

Kiritos Elucidator from Sword Art Online!
yes please!!!
Yes please!
these guys are so extremely talented I love watching this
Achilles sword and Shield, please!
That's a no-brainer, The Lichking's sword, Frostmourne!!
Kirito's Elucidator and Dark Repulser
Huh...where did you guys find that two-thirds scale Grant Imahara?
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Rofl

Your attention to detail keeping the spine down the middle of the blade excellent.
Kirito's elucidator
i love man at arms, but even if im sure that they're deady weapons, it would be better if you tested them on more solid objects like um more fruits, steaks, plastic or whatever, breaking glass isnt so amazing to watch. and I cant understand the power of the weapon since i can also break glass with my hand
The kopis they made here looks like it weighs a good 8 pounds. Even if it wasn't as sharp as Tony showed by shaving off his arm hairs, it has enough weight (especially on the top like kopises were designed to have) to swing through someone's head.
I know right
I think they use glass because it makes it more "spectacular" when they hit it
Mike Algiers that sword is as much of a kopis as a matchlock is semi auto
MrPanos2000 Then what is it? It's not a claymore. It's not a katana. It's more than just a short sword. It's recurved like all other kopises and looks to be as long as a spatha. It loosely fits the definition of a kopis which is good enough for me.
4:54 you made my day LMAO xD
can u send the link?
NO WAY, ITS GRANT IMAHARA!! He's one of my 5 hero's all coming from the same show.
+G Cole HOLY SHIT!!! YOU'RE NOT KIDDING. "Totally did THAT on purpose." That's fuckin' hilarious.
+G Cole a damned shame about Mythbusters
+Knightikhan true, R.I.P Mythbusters
R.I.P Mythbusters, they were the best.
The infinity blade!!! That would be soon cool!
That would be cool
I've been saying this for months! Make the Infinity Blade already!
wow, I just realized I said soon instead of soo
xD
Frostmourne! It has to be the most suggested weapon ever...
I'm sure he'll do it eventually, scribing the sword would be a bitch to do I am sure though. Haha
There is already a collection edition of frostmourne
Grom's hellscream axe on the other hand...
There are many Frostmourne's out there. Gorehowl has yet to be done.
That's a pretty awesome build! I've been wanting to make a kopis for a while; very inspiring.
RIP Grant. You were too good for this world.
The Whitch King's flail from Lord of the Rings
FINALLY!!!
FROSTMORNE!!!!
awesome build and I got to see my favorite myth buster ! RIP!
Sword is sharp enough to shave. Proceed to smash the edge into 5 glass and ceramic targets.
2:30 :3 I see the Frostmourne blade!
Haha dude! It fucking hungers, it needs to be made!
***** Is it just me, or are these candid peeks of future weapons becoming a thing?
ShiDao1211 i hope not ):( SPOILERS!!
Frostmourne wasn't on my Man At Arms Requests Radar but after seeing it in the credits I really would like to see it now.
Thank you for you keen eye
I'd like to see you do the ancient Egyptian Khopesh. The only examples I've ever seen are originals in museums, I'd be really cool to see how they were made.
This would be an awesome one to do.
yes please do something with an actual meaning not this anime bullshit
im sorry jordy, im a mans man , i dont watch my little pony and anime ;)
SuperFunkDoctor Williams watch attack on titan that is a mans anime
SuperFunkDoctor Williams judgment is made by your peers sir
I could be wrong, I'm no expert, but I would think breaking all that glass with the blade would just dull it.
darksskull Considering they make swords, I'm sure sharpening it again would be a walk in the park.
darksskull It's a common way to demonstrate the blade is both steel and hardened and not just a milled out steel (or even aluminum) blank, which is what most cheap commercial replicas are.
A sword with a forged and hardened edge is barely going to dull from breaking glass. In contrast, the edge of an untreated, milled sword will be nicked pretty badly.
They aren't going to be piercing any armor with that so who cares?
+darksskull plus, its idiotic and not at all satisfying way to show off a sword
+darksskull It's hardened high carbon steel... It's not going to dull a sword at all
So much cool stuff like this one
Kirito's Swords for the 9001th time.....
Your OVER 9000
YER KIRITO'S SWORD in sword art online!!!!! THE best!
4:06 Oh, hi, Grant, what're you doing here?

Kirito's Sword - Elucidator! Sword Art Online
Do it do it plss

Oh gawd yuss
Kirito's Elucidator and Dark Repulser, from Sword Art Online since he's a dual wielder.
Yeah they need to make this!!!
They need to do those, they're awesome

Wes H enough people who want to see it*
Do them please
That thing is wicked slashes and stabs amazing
epic work of art
Damn making swords looks fun!
It really is
Can you do Asuna and Kirito's sword from Sword Art Online?
Dantes Scythe from Dantes Inferno
Liked the cameo from Grant Imahara at the end, that was sweet, Grant deserves a new project. On the other hand the Minotaur was too weird.
Not gonna let up - The Elucidator from Sword Art Online.
I said that about 8 weapons ago.
KyriiDestroyer Same here.
Or Dark Repulser
Albert Seoh I somehow feel that The Elucidator is his trademark sword.
Elucidator from Sword Art online...been waiting for it for a while.
Me too it's unbelievable how
He hasn't done this yet, accidentally posted last one too early
Yes do this one
For one, it would look better in plastic - You won't be able to get that dark of an black with any metal (Cheap metal at least, not without hours of work into making it black). Also, How many times has the Elucidator been made?
You can do a google search and see so many cosplay pieces.
he should do it!
2:30 Frostmourne awaits us....
great job .I d love to do this all my life.
Sword Art Online
Kirito's Dark Repulsor & Elucidator!!
Lambent Light as well!
(Asuna's sword)
hahaha.. many have requested that sword and yet, nothing
Yeeees *-*
yes
Dante's Rebellion from Devil May Cry!
RIP Grant!
No words to describe how much I admire dedicated work like this. I've a question if you don't mind: Where could I purchase some minotaurs? I might need a couple to guard valuables, so, just asking, you know. Thanks a lot for the video, may you have a great day!
you should make a second channel that is more in depth for the actual blacksmith. have hour long episodes for each sword you make on this channel showing how to set everything up, what you need to do it and so on.
i am just goeing to comment on this becouse i should.
i really like your idear and i know nothing about anything of being a blacksmith but i would love to learn about it,something about glowing metal i think :)
Yes!
Lee Harvey Oswald i do know stuff about blacksmithing, in fact im blacksmithing things and selling them. i think it would be cool because i am not a pro like he is. if you know so much why do you watch his videos? for more info or for entertainment, i think a channel like i described would be good for either or both of those
awesome .....well done
this is one of my favorite sword dude..I'm really want to have it..
About bloody time Frostmourne appeared on the list! Do it! Like to vote!
Jordan Mahara oh yes, still very unfinished but I can see it! :D
Alexandros Papadopoulos It was probably a test piece =P But my guess is that Frostmourne will definitely get more votes, lol.
The thing is, we know that there are many replicas of Frostmourne out there, but only AWE me will show the process of making it as well as explaining everything behind it. Plus I really want to see the "Fury of Frostmourne" animation when they see how it cuts when the blade is ready.
Here are my three suggestions:
First please please, The ELUCIADATOR and DARK REPULSER from Sword Art Online
Second, from One Piece Kokutou Yoru (Black Sword Yoru) owned by Dracule Mihawk
Dual Spears owned by Lancer in Fate Zero.
YEEEESSSSSSSSS!
Please do Achilles sword and shield from Troy...awesome work, the pieces are amazing and your all such masters...great stuff...
Very very nice work
Dante's Rebellion will be great.
Yeah, that would be awesome
That's so cool...
That would be really awsome
Frostmourne! (Lich king's weapon)
FROSTMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOURNE!)
DEFINETLY)
ooh yeaaaahhh
But Frostmourne have already been made albeit not by Tony but Gorehowl have not yet been made.
gavekorttilikea anyway Frostmourne is A LOT cooler)
very impressive work
Man that’s one badass blade well done ✌️💚🤘
Sword Art Online(SAO) - Kirito's Sword - The Elucidator
100% Agreed ^~^
YES. Kirito's sword would be awesome. This must be done.
I rly want them to make that
I will be able to die happy once that exists in our world. XD
PLEASE SCRISSOR BLADE KILL-LA-KILL
I like the fact that he left some imperfections on the blade
Well done , I quite enjoy your channel .. amazing work ... try and build the Master Sword ( He-man ) that would be amazing
Kirito's Elucidator
***** what about dark repulser
Italy Johnson
Not so... personal... as Eludicator and Asuna's Rapier.
I know that I just think is cool he could make all three but that's a little to much for 1 episode and my other comment says also make crescent rose from rwby you should check it out
Elucidator and Dark Repulser from Sword Art Online!
Italy Johnson
Crescent Rose would be too much. Myrtenaster would be the proper RWBY weapon to make.
Kirito's Dual Blades from Sword Art Online.
Grant is a real Spartan with that sword in his hand haha he was awesome
It's saddening that none of the comments named the sword and you didn't either. I just found it funny
Deadric Sword from Skyrim!! It looks awesome
Frostmourne!
0:57 Now those are shoes of a hardcore weaponsmith! Awesome! :) And "Safety 3rd!" LOL Love these guys.
Awesome!)
why dont we all just go back to those days when people fought with blades and shields, this gun thing is harmful you know
Hey man, swords are cool but if a thug with an AR-15 broke into your house you'd be dead before you got close enough to even swing at him.
Maximillianrex Carpediem have you seen sword art online 2 ep.4? Kirito's a badass
trollin right?
+rayquazacharizard&me you mean anime?! Think about real life not anime
戀文 Think about this being a joke, not serious.
Would still love to see Kirito's sword(s) from Sword Art Online
I don't even know how the Elucidator hasn't been made yet, it's probably the most suggested..
King Steele I know right! The Elucidator has been one of the top 3 swords requested from what I've seen. That and the Frostmourne.
On every video I've been suggesting this for months and its killing me that he hasn't built the elucidator yet, I need to see that sword
I'm starting to think he won't :/
This is a cool build
Frostmourne from Warcraft III would be time consuming, but probably the most spectacular sword ever!
The Rebellion from Devil May Cry
Yessssssss
Yamato might be easier, but Rebellion would look so cool
Fuck that. Make Sparda!
Wow this is one destructive sword!
Truly a sword fit for a king.
Riku's Soul Eater from Kingdom Hearts
Id also like to see that but i think way to the dawn would be better. Both. Can we do both?
Frostmourne hungers
LMFAO AT THE MINOTAUR hahahahaha
might as well use a baseball bat if your breaking glass
+TheMegaelectronic Most of their stuff seem like a sharpened crowbars
Loki's Spear? Ok? No? Like?
Like
Yes
So many likes!!! THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!
Yeah, we've already got Thor's Mjolnir, let's show Loki some love!
Hell yea
Kiritos Elucidator from SAO

How many times must I beg you? PLEASE do the Scissor Blades from Kill La Kill! PLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAASSSSSSSEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

PLEASE MAKE FROSTMOURNE I LOVE THAT SWORD!!!!
Make your own sword from imagination for your 2,000,000th sub special
Literally watching this in 2019 and these videos are completely different except for maybe the cosplay at the end lol but still awesome videos back the vs now big improvement and just completely different
When I see them cutting through the pots and glass containers all I can think is, "well there goes the edge."
Scissors Blade from Kill la Kill
I like how both Gorehowl and The lich sword are both regular links to the channel..
I want to see the "Bloodskal Blade" from skyrim.
