I always hated how they had such a hard time telling Phoebe that her singing and guitar playing always sucked but when in comes to Ross' profession as a paleontologist it was so easy to heckle and mock him despite him actually being successful at it and have a distinguished degree.
because he IS distinguished, it's his career and he's blatantly good at it, the heckling never refers to his skill level just that they find his occupation boring.
whereas music is an artistic skill, its reception is in the eyes of the beholder, so the reception of Phoebe's friends matters more here.

Phoebe’s new song sounds better than her other songs
People and I mean a lot of people overlook rachel and ross's nicest and sweetest moments and especially Rachel's they only focus on the negative moments when the other characters had negative moments as well.
Whenever I hear Phoebe singing and playing I just wanna do what Terry is describing 😂 I love the finger movements he does when he says "swirl it around" 😂

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think Phoebe is so awful musician. Lisa Kudrow has a great voice and the little she learned playing guitar is enough to make the songs have a good harmony.
The lyrics are bad,of course, but then it’s just for the humor can work (and it works very well).
I would certainly pay to listen to Phoebe.

The reunion isn't a reboot or continuation of the show. It's just the cast getting together to talk about it.

Same as Joey in my opinion. You get glimpses of him being able to act (e.g. when Rachel sees him on set, though it might just be cause she fancies him) but he should have had a final arc at least seasons 8-10 where he finally studies acting and has success or just has success, that he was stagnant forever as an actor was disappointing to me. 10 years in and out of show time and he never got it.
Wouldn't it be so much more awesome if she was a seriously awesome singer and got professional gigs and became rich. Or if she was just an amazing song writer that would've been cool to.
It might be hard to write amazing songs.

I think Rachel's boss was being too kind when he described how Phoebe's playing impacted him.
I also thought Phoebe was really ungrateful when Rachel tried to help her out.
Also, if I was running a venue with a spot for musical entertainment, Phoebe would have to pay me to let her play there.
