Further proof that Gismonti is one of the greatest composers of the late 20th century. So perfectly and movingly interpreted. And - often not acknowledged - a wonderful recording. Ah! I just noticed the recording is by Jakob Schmidt - the George Martin of contemporary guitar production. Muito bom!
since record companies are clueless, i hope some rich patron of the arts would sponsor these two artists to make a duo recording. Or maybe we the fans should pool our resources and get this record made!
This brings back fond memories of Julian Bream and John Williams performing duets together. These two young guitarist have the same ability to perform together. The future of the classical guitar is in safe hands❤
