How exactly is she "innovative"? She plays the usual sort of "guitar" repertoire in the usual way.
You have not listened to enough of her repertoire. Sergio Assad wrote a composition for Stephanie. Enough said.
Things you don't notice. She plays with zero fret noise. Her dynamics are flawless. She's playing and performing pieces Julian Bream didn't or couldn't play until later in life. She is probably the best classical guitarist in the world right now.
You just have to let your ego go long enough to get into her zone. When you come back, you will
understand.
