    Most of these guys will not tell what product they use. Homeowners can get a good result with a mix of Jo Max and outdoor bleach in a pump sprayer. Directions on the Jo Max jug. Also 30-second cleaner at 50/50 mix. It will take longer because the pros use better equipment to apply the cleaner.

    Great demo with the true softwashing technique using the 12 volt pump system. Are you using 12.5% or 10% SH when you dilute it down to your 1% mix, thanks

    How would you approach a covered patio with this same soffit style material on the whole ceiling (900 sq. ft)? 6 ceiling fans, big TV, painted HardiPlank walls. Could I brush it with a cleaning solution (soft boat/car type brush) then sponge mop with straight water?

    Big time window spotting in my area hard water. Tds 230-250 . what do you tell customer about windows or do you do windows ? Thanks

    • @southeastsoftwash4020
      @southeastsoftwash4020  5 років тому

      Brad Loughlin We do not do window cleaning as far as pure water goes. We do give a standard window cleaning with each house wash. Most of our customers are not that picky on glass unless it’s on the lake.
      There are some are pure water setups you could use if hard water is an issue

    I have a question.......vinyl soffit is not solid it’s usually perforated to allow cooler under soffit air to flow into the attic. Aren’t you blasting water and chemicals thru the soffit into the attic getting the underside of the roof sheathing wet? I’m confused.

    • @southeastsoftwash4020
      @southeastsoftwash4020  3 роки тому +4

      Not really. We use a softwash process which is very low psi. I’m sure a little bit of water gets in there but not enough to do anything negative.
      Literally thousands of guys do what we do every year to tons of houses. It’s pretty much the standard process

    • @TheWilferch
      @TheWilferch 3 роки тому +2

      @@southeastsoftwash4020 ...maybe it's standard practice but unless you built a test stand with the ventilated soffits on stilts ( or somesuch)...to actually see and test how much water comes through...to simply "Say" that's it's only a "little" water does not give one confidence......the fact other guys are doing this doesn't mean in a few years ( all of a sudden) you won't have a lot of unhappy homeowners with mold or damage.

      @@justinlittle8742not that I’m defending the question because it is legit. In case you didn’t notice, rain falls downward due to gravity. When pressure washing, you’re spraying water up. I know that may take a lot of understanding and painful thinking but try, it’ll keep you from comparing two absolutely different scenarios and making yourself look like a donkey.
      Now that I think of it, your comment is far dumber than his question.
