I put more faith in dead cells return to castlevania than i have in any konami mainline castlevania in 12 years. Worth it to honestly DC's is the natural progression imo. Even though its kind of a hot take considering hollow knight exists.

Speaking of Lords of Shadow, I had the demo for Cv:LoS: Mirror of Fate on my 3DS, like, probably about a decade ago, and I remember having fun with it, but I never got the actual game. Then a year-and-a-half ago, my cousin had to move in for a few months, during which time he put his Xbox profile on my Xbox 360, so I could download and play his games (including the LoS trilogy). So I downloaded LoS1 and it was... okay; it wasn't bad, but it didn't really stand out from other 3D action beat 'em ups from the PS2/PS3 eras, and I got kinda bored of it. I have yet to try MoF HD or LoS2, and I don't think it's happening anytime soon.

Do a speedrun of Castlevania lord of shadow sequal mirror of fate. That game is 2D with the gam,eplay comb of lord of shadow. nd it is the metroidvania feel, kind of. It's dark souls in 2D, metroidvania. LOL

OH sh** let me correct myself Lord of Shadows 2 and Lord of Shadow Mirror of fate are both Metroidvania in some way. LOS2 is the first game but in a open world like a 3d metroidvania. While mirror of fate that is the 3DS game is LOS2 but in a 2D way.
