In 1981, six years after joining Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks went solo for the first time with her debut album ‘Bella Donna’. A massive success, it sold more than five million copies in the U.S., topped the album charts and produced four hit singles, including her signature anthem, "Edge Of Seventeen." More platinum albums followed - ‘The Wild Heart’ (1983), ‘Rock A Little’ (1985), and ‘The Other Side Of The Mirror’ (1989).
In 2019, Stevie Nicks made history by becoming the first female artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice - first as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998, and most recently in recognition of an extraordinary solo career that spans nearly 40 years.
While all the younger generations are attempting to get famous with shock and awe, getting naked and shaking everything they have, you go to Stevie, and she has always kept her music and her look classy, meaningful, and beautiful. She is a timeless musical treasure. Much love to you Stevie.

This woman's music alone helped me through one of the most difficult times of my life. Seeing her live was a lifelong "bucket-list" goal and my husband bought me tickets for Yule one year. My best friend and I went together and I will never forget when I got to hear this song -- *THE* song that helped me through everything sung LIVE by this incredible woman -- standing next to a dear friend who knew my story. This song is my anthem written by two of the most amazing musicians -- Thank you Prince and Stevie.

What a Woman & Artist..Growing up I had this music playing around me (& other greats) in the 80's & thank God for that! I just watched "Behind the Music" starring Stevie & what a life she's had. She credits her aging well & nice skin to : Always washing off her make up when everyone else was waking up w/their on after a long night of partying. I tell you, I too, am a fair skinned beauty & I always wash mine off to, use chap stick & lotion hands, elbows, every night. I look a lot younger for my age too. I tell my niece that is 21, you can never start caring for you're skin too young. Stevie is a beautiful person..wish I could know her. Stevie PLEASE come to Seattle, Wa.!! It would make my life to see you in concert!! Love you always!!

This is just one of those songs that, when I hear it, transports me back to a a time and place where life was very, very good, sitting in the dorm room partying, or driving over the causeway to Clearwater Beach in my Ray Bans and freak flag flying to my construction job. My company sent me there from Indiana, I though I was in heaven! Those days it was The Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan, but this song takes me to a castle in Palm Beach, by the coquina-edged pool. Prince played synthesizer on the original, and received half the royalties, because Stevie wrote it after hearing "Little Red Corvette" on her honeymoon! No one has more class and integrity than Stevie Nicks. Rock on!

Again, impeccable performance and the lyrics and the music and the....... The one thing I wish for Stevie is to go down in history as one of the “Greatest American song writers of our time”. At almost every Stevie concert I have been to, one of the songs we wait for is her always fabulous performance of this song “Stand Back”. It’s always exhilarating the way she performs this song.🦆

I wanted to say this, I will never forget when Stevie Nicks was presented an award from Block Buster and Sheryl Crow was the presenter and at that time I did not know that Sheryl Crow was a fan of Stevie Nicks and what I noticed is that Sheryl Crow had tears in her eyes when she gave the award to Stevie Nicks and so did I. No fair weathered fan here . I just kept playing Stevie’s music , my Stevie concert video’s, love ‘Stevie Nicks In Concert’, 1982, Welsh Witch and ‘Stevie Nicks Live In Redrocks Colorado’ concert until she came back to the limelight. Stevie and these musicians are just the best of the best but the unsung hero's in these Chicago performances are the sound engineers. The mix is perhaps the best ever done. It is so solid and everyone sounds their very best because of it.
This is one of my two favorite works by Miss Nicks. Had the good fortune of living on Ravenswood Avenue in Menlo Park California, not far from her High School. Drew strength from it just as Rumours was hitting... I still vividly recall handling the CD which was very hot.
