In 1981, six years after joining Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks went solo for the first time with her debut album ‘Bella Donna’. A massive success, it sold more than five million copies in the U.S., topped the album charts and produced four hit singles, including her signature anthem, "Edge Of Seventeen." More platinum albums followed - ‘The Wild Heart’ (1983), ‘Rock A Little’ (1985), and ‘The Other Side Of The Mirror’ (1989).
In 2019, Stevie Nicks made history by becoming the first female artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice - first as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998, and most recently in recognition of an extraordinary solo career that spans nearly 40 years.

This woman's music alone helped me through one of the most difficult times of my life. Seeing her live was a lifelong "bucket-list" goal and my husband bought me tickets for Yule one year. My best friend and I went together and I will never forget when I got to hear this song -- *THE* song that helped me through everything sung LIVE by this incredible woman -- standing next to a dear friend who knew my story. This song is my anthem written by two of the most amazing musicians -- Thank you Prince and Stevie.

Drummer is so smooth. Reminds me of my stepfather William Carbone from Frankfort NY. He was a famous drummer from upstate NY. Poison actually Asked him to be they're drummer for 2 years when Ricky rocket dude got throat cancer. He turned it down for some reason. His forte was rock, classic rock mainly. But he was actually a master jazz drummer as well. He was simply amazing trust me. He died in a house fire all alone in Frankfort. I wish he would have never broke up with my mom 25 years ago. He called me his little pepper boy. I was a crazy, fast, climb the walls kinda kid lol. I was his favorite because he knew deep down I considered him my dad unlike my older brother and younger sis. He would take me to these jam sessions a lot of times with some really good musicians from all over brevard county florida when I was a young boy. What amazing music I witnessed let me tell you. He handed me my first joint when I turned 18. He was the coolest stepdad in the World! I miss and love u Billy! You were the best. I still after 25 years have yet to hear anyone who's even close to your level around here! Lol.

This is just one of those songs that, when I hear it, transports me back to a a time and place where life was very, very good, sitting in the dorm room partying, or driving over the causeway to Clearwater Beach in my Ray Bans and freak flag flying to my construction job. My company sent me there from Indiana, I though I was in heaven! Those days it was The Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan, but this song takes me to a castle in Palm Beach, by the coquina-edged pool. Prince played synthesizer on the original, and received half the royalties, because Stevie wrote it after hearing "Little Red Corvette" on her honeymoon! No one has more class and integrity than Stevie Nicks. Rock on!

What a Woman & Artist..Growing up I had this music playing around me (& other greats) in the 80's & thank God for that! I just watched "Behind the Music" starring Stevie & what a life she's had. She credits her aging well & nice skin to : Always washing off her make up when everyone else was waking up w/their on after a long night of partying. I tell you, I too, am a fair skinned beauty & I always wash mine off to, use chap stick & lotion hands, elbows, every night. I look a lot younger for my age too. I tell my niece that is 21, you can never start caring for you're skin too young. Stevie is a beautiful person..wish I could know her. Stevie PLEASE come to Seattle, Wa.!! This is one of my two favorite works by Miss Nicks. Had the good fortune of living on Ravenswood Avenue in Menlo Park California, not far from her High School. Drew strength from it just as Rumours was hitting... I still vividly recall handling the CD which was very hot.
