In 1981, six years after joining Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks went solo for the first time with her debut album ‘Bella Donna’. A massive success, it sold more than five million copies in the U.S., topped the album charts and produced four hit singles, including her signature anthem, "Edge Of Seventeen." More platinum albums followed - ‘The Wild Heart’ (1983), ‘Rock A Little’ (1985), and ‘The Other Side Of The Mirror’ (1989).
In 2019, Stevie Nicks made history by becoming the first female artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice - first as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998, and most recently in recognition of an extraordinary solo career that spans nearly 40 years.

Really! Whole band has those joyful facial expressions despite personal or personnel issues. Stevie Nicks, and all Fleetwood Mac members represented the era of peace and love very well! I'm a jazz, R&B, Motown fiend, but I appreciate music as creative expression from the soul no matter who presents it!

She pours her heart out into every note she sings and it’s that intensity and vulnerability behind her impassioned vocals that has captivated people all these years. I read that Sara was gonna be around 10 minutes long, but the band said she needed to shorten it cause no one is gonna listen to a ten minute song lol. I wish it was longer, it's such a great song!

I've been a huge Stevie Nicks fan since she first appeared as a member of Fleetwood Mac.
When Stevie started her solo career I immediately went to the music store and picked up a copy of Bella Donna. Her albums, The Wild Heart and Rock a Little remain two of my favorite albums of all time. Stevie is not only one of the best female vocalists in Rock history, her song writing is masterful!
This is one of the best live performances I've ever watched be it on UA-cam or live. I've been to 6 of Stevie's concerts. We all know there are artists that are just not that great out of the studio, but that doesn't apply to Stevie Nicks, this woman Rocks in or out of the studio!

I am 66. And I dream of Stevie every night. I grew up with her. Fleetwood Mac and Heart sculpted my life. These 2 bands and Led Zeppelin were my life. And still are, to this day. I will die happy knowing that I was one of the lucky ones that was fortunate enough to grow up with her.
Taylor Swift cannot hold a candle. My first album was rumors when I was 14 years. I feel sorry for the current generation they did not experience music like this. I am 61 years old

I will always remember the first time I heard this song, I was about 12 or 13 back in 1978. I was cleaning my room late at night while listening to the radio and this song came on, I was dreaming just a natural high, I just hit me at the right time, I loved it. just wanted to share..... :-)

Very well said! I know what the heart of the song is about since I was named after it but her raw emotions about it really helped me when I miscarried my daughter. I listened to it constantly right after it happened and to this day I still tear up while singing along. That was 17 years ago.

I’m a fan of Stevie and am 69, my sons wanted my albums when they were in they were in high school. The 70 and 80s and 90s were fantastic - I have a friend who was Greg all man’s best friend. That music was great and still is, I like Bruce Springsteen and Enrique too.
Stevie's voice is getting BETTER and she is amazing. She is and has always has been what I listen to everyday. She has been through pain and that is what makes her so real. This performance captures Lindsey Buckingham's ethereal studio production of Nick's gorgeous melody and lyrics, along with the haunting harmonies and arrangements by the rest of the band. We can lift Stevie nicks up without putting down on women artists! Stevie is immaculate and untouchable and one of a kind, not sure why you want every artist to be like her? That wouldn’t be very original or unique if every artist tried to do exactly what Stevie does. She’s the first of her kind, please stop comparing women to each other, Stevie respects the hell out of women artists and lifts them up every chance she gets.

Just saw her in concert she was simply incredible . She didn't sing sara but many of her other just fantastic songs. Sara though will always be my favorite it really is something special .
Omg I'm going to see her August 15th in Austin tx. She came when I was 17 but my parents wouldn't let me go. I'm 52 and my best friend sume with front row tickets. I am crying now. Life flys by.

IKR?! I just said exact same thing . She sounds fantastic. I swear though, I saw something on her 15-20 yrs ago, and her voice was completely shot out. I specifically recall how sad I felt about it! Idk? Strange. … maybe I switched dimensions-glitch in the matrix or Im living in a parallel universe?!🤣🤣😅Pretty sure it’s the latter lol.. if that’s the case her voice still sounding stellar is the ONLY thing better!!
