Greetings. In your state you should not be letting your contaminated water run directly back into the river. I have forgotten how far it is, but there is a certain amount of footage that is required between where you release the water and the river (if you are on USFS lands). Also, you have placed your sluice in gravels, which is where fish spawn. That is a very big no no for fish and game. You are finding good gold--I would make every attempt to stay within your state's guidelines. I know that a few years ago the USFS was allowing high bankers within the scour zone, but fish and game was not. However, if you were using a high banker with a reasonable distance and no water release back into the river, they would probably be fine with what you are doing. In my county (Plumas), a ranger with the USFS made an appointment with me to measure the footage to the river and insure no water was released back. They were cool and easy to work with. Good luck, but you should consult Placer County on such and try doing the same. Stay within the limits of the law, to protect the waters, and also not bring further fines and regulations possibly to you as well as other miners.
any recommendations were to sluice were its not owned by claims and clubs.? just want to stick my sluice in the water and see shiny yellow hard work love to do it.... have fun get back to me if you can or whoever reads this ......
Hey about how much pitch you running on that thing? You ain't bashful about feeding it, those gold hog mats run like a hungry hog that's for sure. Great video
At around $45 / gram...does it make sense to work all day and get a gram or two?.. I mean yes, your prospecting..and you never know what you'll find. I suppose just to be out in nature, working on your own and knowing you might get an oz or a gram makes it all worth it.
Looks like close to 3-1 pitch. Maybe a little over 3 inches of fall at most. And it appears to be close to a 50 inch sluice that hes running. Pitch looks good I think it's the illusion that the fast river is giving.
Harika bir çalışma 👍
