As of 2-6-2023, this glitch works. (This is reproducible) The way a wanderer gets it is to have them join you and defeat a boss that they have not defeated. The wander that joined the host needs to die and once the host has defeated the boss have the joined player alt+f4 after receiving the runes. The wanderer should reopen Elden ring co-op hit continue (friend should die upon entering own world) respawn then rejoin host using the effigy. Once in host's world, friend should respawn (don't hit the grace) then the friend will need to use separation mist and quickly open inventory to use the effigy to rejoin the host's world while the separation mist is doing the animation(This is the most important step). The wander should still show in the host's world but the wanderer will be in their own world and can hit the grace to earn the runes.
i have this bug with a friend and we DONT want it, how can we make it dissapear, we changed the mod version 2 times and this is so annoying, we want a "normal" playthrough
Will you explain a bit more how you made this happen? Did someone rest at the grace while the enemy was still in its felled animation? Can’t abuse the bird for runes in seamless co op so I’m trying to find another alternative 😂
@@blackmoone148 really only the same solo methods like deloading the map or killing the albanaurics I guess Don't think there's any faster ways unless you can find another bugged one
this has happened to me quite a bit over the last few days, usually when i disconnect from teh host and rejoin i keep getting the message that i killed the boss and everytime i rest at the grace i get souls

I think this was patched sadly but it only happened randomly anyway

Randomly found it on accident then abused it to get 10 levels :)
I abused it to get 100 lvls.. we were getting like 100,000 ruins per sitting at the grace lmao. But shits random af and no clue why or how it works.
