Winter Van Camping In The Wyoming Mountains | My Coldest Night Yet

- Did some winter van camping up in Wyoming and let me tell you what, It was by far my coldest night yet. It got down to a low of 21 degrees but the wind chill had it feeling like it was 5 degrees. Thankfully my diesel heater was pumping out some great heat and kept me super warm throughout the night. Unfortunately the next day while getting off the mountain, I did get stuck in the snow which resulted in a shattered window when my strap broke.

Kudos to u only getting stuck once in Wyoming. Lol. I used to drive truck thru Wyoming and usually avoided it at all cost during the winter months. I80 is hit or miss at any given moment. SLC is pretty cool but the drive itself out of Wyoming is really awesome. I just stumbled across your channel this evening. Look forward to seeing where else you end up. Safe travels !
Wyoming was a tongue biter going through for sure! When I was heading to Salt Lake City, the highways were all iced over
@@TaylorVanBeek yeah I don’t doubt it. It’s beautiful scenery tho. So many cool things to see out west but in the winter I def prefer south west part of the country !

There are a LOT of you complaining about cold weather camping. You have thousand dollar cameras and drones. You have all the amenities us homeless people would love! You go out there and pretend you’re in dire situations when you’re not. You’re lieing to people for self gain. You’ve never camped alone at negative 30F
Sorry I work hard to afford cameras and things that I like… maybe you should try it yourself.

Mastiffs are awesome! And that’s the plan. I just didn’t have time to build curtains before I left!
Wyoming is my home state (Cheyenne being my hometown), every time I come across a video someone filmed in Wyoming I always get a little sad, I miss it.
Wyoming is beautiful! I can't wait to get back out there.
