I'm glad for you, you had a ski-moment. The air on that snow-scenery must be so pure and healthy for the lungs. That snow-storm makes me think of the heavy snow-storms you had in your red tent, among the pinetrees of the forests. In your van you are more safe, and you can prepare consistant meals (in your tent you were sometimes limited to some dry food or a few light cookies for dinner, without Spanish Serrano-ham ! Hahaha 😂 😆)
Hi, the wind blowing is so relaxing while you're chilling inside, cozy, warm, and well fed under the colorful lights. Hope you're enjoying your American adventure.
Beautiful but treacherous. As a lifelong resident of the semi tropical Southern United States, I could not imagine dealing with such conditions. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
Watching and imagining snow .... and that much snow ..... while watching it from equatorial country .... and watching this all in extreme summer ..... I am not able to explain my feelings 😅😅😅 It looked like a movie when you were skating .... A full white screen and a man in black .. AMAZING JARL!!!! ❤
It’s amazing everyone doesn’t get snowed in. Also, I would be so terrified that the power would stop working and I’d freeze to death. 🥶 You’re very brave. Love your videos!

Hey, Jarl I’m in east central Ks. Been in a blizzard for last 24 hours. Started with sleet and rain. Last evening it turned into a windy windy day. Winds in excess of 40 mph. Thought of you when I went to feed and the wind and a three foot drift held me hostage for a few seconds. Just a few minutes state warned no to be on roads or risk death.
@@NorwegianXplorer My photography group loves Death Valley. I can't past the name. I also have Dyscalculia, I have no sense of direction. That js NOT the place to get lost.
I like the snow videos, they remind me of my childhood, but the snow in Norway is crazy! I think the Convoi's are very good, a good thing! You clearly have the best living room - window! Very cozy 😎! Greetings from Thailand M@nni
You must be my brother from another mother so strange as it may sound i live in a beutiful island in east Aegean of Greece full of sun and blue clear sea but i hate it its so hot here never snow rain is rare too i am so jealous of this weather and i love all the videos i wish i could live there in your country ! Enjoy this life my friend i wish you health and lot of adventures !!!
So (as a Mexican immigrant to Minnesota USA) I can now see why Norway and MN have so many “sister cities”. The weather, accent and buildings are pretty much the same due to the latitude?/or is it longitude? being similar and having so many Sweeds settling here thinking “yep, this feel like home” a while back. Personally, growing up in “perfect” 70 degree weather year round in Mexico, I absolutely love winter in MN. Ice fishing, snowmobiling, skiing and the challenge of simply driving through a blizzard rocks 🤟
@13:21 This is a completely underrated comment. To my American friends that have not eaten real Serrano Spanish ham, let me explain. Serrano ham is typically aged for 18-24 months. Now if you’re lucky enough to get it a bar (where they hang it right above you), that’s aged from 24-48 months 😮. I had some at a bar that served it on hard toast (with the best nukes and crannies). They rubbed a tomato on the crust, drisseled olive oil on top, sprinkled large granulated salt and put the Serrano ham…..it was the best dam bar food I have ever had…ever.

Hi & thanks for sharing , I’m doing this trip myself after Christmas mid - end of Jan for a couple of months, these vids are really helpful ref driving conditions etc and also a great watch .. I’m going to travel up through Norway , is there anywhere I should definitely avoid at that time of year or are the roads mostly ploughed regularly , I know it will be stormy and unpredictable but a heads up would be nice , thanks again for sharing 👍🏻
I have watched a ton of your great videos. I love crawling into a warm bed after watching you in a blizzard. I see you eat a fair amount of food. Do you use your toilet in the van and if so why doesn’t the water freeze in this weather? How do you keep your vehicle and inner workings from freezing or the battery going dead?
