Absolutely amazing. You are without a doubt, the Leonardo DaVinci of the cosplay making world. The combination of the build and the paint is incredible. The amount of detail, especially around the eyes, really sells this helmet. Thank you for sharing with us, Steve!
As you wrap up this series, Could I request a future project to be some variation of a standard Fantasy/ medieval suit of armor the same way you did the superhero armor? I think with your quality of patterns and AMAZING tutorials, it could take the cosplay community by storm with how many different things it would be applicable for!
Maybe we'll see a white eyed Batman in the DCU with the success of Wolverine's white eyed mask. Great job! You really captured the look. I like it better than the movie
I love that you did the cartoon version and not the one from the move! I love the first X-Men cartoon, I'd wake early every Saturday morning just to watch it!
Watching your videos reminds me of relaxing Sunday afternoons watching How It’s Made (and I mean that in the best way possible). Keep up the great work! 🫶
See? Now the helmet it's done😂 But don't worry my friend...The next project is Tatum's Gambit chest armor😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Damn Marvel movies😥😂 Great job brother, big hug from Spain😎🤘
Oooo can't wait to watch this in full busy busy this weekend but now I know what I'm doing on the train home on Monday 😜 You know I would support you with buying your foam but last time I checked they don't ship to the UK
I preferred the Hulkbuster suit, which looked like a very good representation of the current Krakoan Era Wolverine costume, but I probably wouldn’t have liked it nearly as much with the cowl. While I liked the cowl’s inclusion in the film, I thought the execution of it was somewhat disappointing. There are a few reasons why the costume department went in the direction they did. The comic accurate white eyes are post-production CGI and the smaller fins were used because the hood had to appear out of thin air without disrupting the illusion it was somehow there the entire time.
Any advice for if the main part of the head is too big? If the mask isn't tight on my head the face gets too wide. Should I put padding in the back of the headpiece or make strategic cutouts to reduce it's circumference?
Great videos! Roughly how much foam would you recommend purchasing from you to complete all of your wolverine builds (chest, cowl, and gauntlets). I am new to this and very eager to build this. However, I have no idea roughly how much foam I will need to purchase from you. Thanks
Hey, awesome build! Just curious, but do you think this could also work with cardboard? Also, will there be a Netflix Daredevil's helmet template someday?
you can try to use whatever you'd like, everything is practice. But eventually you want to upgrade to using foam over cardboard because it is more durable and a lot easier to manipulate for compund curves.
@@SKSProps Holy hell. That was quick, thank you so much for your quick reply and advise. One more question: what is head size of the blue print (in inches)? I figured if I know what the measurement of the original is, I can measure my kid's head and reduce the blueprint more accurately.
@@SKSProps He means, you can't always get a thin line. Sometimes you use a marker that's 1 to 1.5 mm thick, and that difference is significant. To answer his question, inside is best. If your marker/pen is flush against the paper, the inner line will be straighter and more accurate

You’re welcome have fun with the build 👍
I love how you have the corners of all those parts coming from the tear duct area. It really sells the sewn leather look of it. Like an inverted seam.
Thanks Phil and yeah I think it helps the whole mask look more believable....God I hate the eyes in the movie version 😅
@@SKSProps yeah, in the movie, they're just a couple black dots shy of googly.
