Steve, I want to thank you for all your time and work on your creations and the templates you always give us for free; nowadays almost no one makes a creation without selling it to you. ps: written with google translator
Fantastic tutorial! The template is a lifesaver - thank you! I was surprised by the scaling I (apparently) have to do for this. My wrist width (not circumference) came out at 3", and my forearm at 4.92", so based on the forearm measurement, I need to scale this down 40% from the original size. Keep this in mind guys. I want a snug fit. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out! Subscribed!

Thanks for this tutorial! One thing that I don't like about the design is that there isn't a tight fit around the wrist side of these because it has to be able to be slipped over your hands. If I wanted to make similar bracers with Velcro to get a form fit, what is the minimum thickness of foam you'd recommend? If two pieces of Velcro (one from each side) overlap then the foam attached to them needs to be half the thickness of the rest of the bracers in order for them to have the same thickness when attached. Do you recommend using the same piece of foam for this overlapping part and dremel away half of the thickness on each side, or somehow use two separate pieces of foam to achieve this?
This is unrelated to the video, but could maybe make a Borderlands 2 Buzz Axe? I know you made one from Borderlands 3, but they are different models and colors so I wanted to see if you could maybe do that.
I have a question, how do you treat the inside of your props (helmets arms, chest armor) to protect it from stuff like sweat? or is that not really an issue? Just wondering if heat treating is enough or if you spray plastidip or cover it in some other material in there.
@@thegiantratthatmakesallthe5055 foam won’t be effected by water or sweat. And most armor will have cloth underneath you’ll be wearing. For helmets a balaclava etc

Aaaaaayyyyyy let's go just subscribed and a new video popped up😂😂

Sorry if it sounded demanding or if you don't take requests or anything, I just wanted to ask.
are you going to do dead pool
No plans at this point most of his costume is fabric
Excelente gracias por su aporte
are there any good substitutes if you don't have a heat gun handy?
no, hair dryers and the like don't get hot enough. Heat guns are pretty cheap online and if you plan on working with foam i'd pick one up

I don't see into the future but I do read a lot of articles about movie and video game rumors that might happen and base some of my videos on those
You're the best one!
Thank You!
please complete whole suit of the wolverine!
I would like to know how the pants were made, and how to get the right fit, because they are either to loose or to tight.
Please.
I’m not making the pants because I don’t sew
Ok
a modded version could make some excellent batman gauntlets
I hope some people run with it 👍

either sew it in or use contact coment on the fabric to foam
