What a lovely reaction and tribute to the rock queen Tina Turner...may she rest in peace with the angels...side note she was 60 years old when she performed this concert in the UK...this was the finale of the concert and she gave those young dancer a run for their money...a unique talent who endured so much in her early life...and became a champion for domsetic abuse victims worldwide...there will never be another like her ever...

Tina is and always will be a true diva, a powerhouse of vocal rock n roll and an amazing artist and strong woman! RIP and eternal happiness Tina and thank you for the tears and happiness to your reaction Empress to Tina Turner. She was in her sixties (late fifties) if this was sung in 2000. She passed at age 83 so if my math is on point then hopefully I’m correct. You should have stood up and danced as I did and rocked out with her and us all! She is a force to behold forever and luckily even though she is passed her music and charisma and energy will be alway with us and around for new listeners to appreciate! Empress your happiness exuded throughout this entire performance!

And when this was filmed she was 60 years old!
I saw Tina in 1990 at Woburn Abbey, it was just as good, it was a massive energy filled performance.
You can feel the love for her.
Sometimes a performer just "does the show" Tina performed it from start to finish and gave everything, nothing left, all on the stage, all for us. We didn't want it to stop.
She had a very hard start in life and an awful abusive first marriage, its so brilliant that she had fame and happiness, she is an inspiration.
This is possibly your best reaction, and you look amazing❤❤

She broke onto the scene in the 1960's with the Ike and Tina Turner Revue, and was a powerhouse especially with this song written by John Fogerty of Credence Clearwater Revival. My respect for her really grew when we found out Her Husband Ike had been physically and emotionally abusing her for years. She not only survived but obviously thrived after getting away from him. I believe she was in her sixties when this concert was done and I can't imagine having this much energy much less dancing in heels. One of her backup singers on the upper deck is Beyonce's sister, Solange. Always a pleasure to see your reactions. Thank you for sharing.

Tina Turner did a great cover of this song.
Originally done by song by American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival written by John Fogerty. It was released as a single in January 1969 on the band's second studio album, Bayou Country. The song became a major hit in the United States, peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in March 1969, the first of five singles to peak at No. 2 for the group.
The cover version by Ike and Tina Turner, released two years later in 1971, did nearly as well, reaching No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and winning a Grammy Award.

Fabulous reaction Empress, really enjoyed this. I had the privilege of seeing her in concert, I say concert, but in truth it was more of a show than a concert, at the NEC in Birmingham UK around 1995. I remember it so well even after all these years. She was IMMENSE, she owned the place, her performance had the crowd eating from her hand. She had total control
She was 55 when I saw her, here she is 60!. The lady was born to entertain. Knowing what she went through I have so much respect for her. RIP

You should do her other songs like, "What's Love Got to Do With It," "Simply the Best" and "We Don't Need Another Hero." Tina Turner held (or may still hold) the record for the largest crowd a solo performer ever performed live in front of. I'm not sure, but I believe it was over 200-thousand people at a stadium in Rio.
