Great fan film. The two actors Anton Bondar and Anastasia Trefilove both did a fantastic job. The Inquisitor looked across between Mara Jade and Bane. You got a like from me.
In my head canon this is Mara Jade as Bane’s apprentice on a mission for him and I would love love LOOOOOVE to see her saber skills continue to evolve so that she can be a continued star in these productions. If Disney ever adapts a Mara Jade/Bane story- she’s got to be at least as good as this actress and she’s got to be Eastern European or Russian. Please Disney- call these people to help/pay them to consult or be able to adapt some of these tidbits into future feature film projects!
This was pretty good, but the long shots showed just how slow the moves actually were. Also (and this is more of a criticism of lightsaber duels in general, and not just this piece), I think duels would be over much faster if attacks were concentrated at your opponent’s body, rather than their weapon.
Well, the Jedi Sentinels which includes the Temple Guards are trained to be pragmatic, cold, and in the case of the Temple Guards act with a lack individuality. I think this is a good show case of a Jedi Sentinel.
The moment when u are a double blade lightsaber main and see somebody in a video fighting with exact ur fighting stile. Bro this looks cool 😎 , not important who swings the lightsaber. 👍✌😘😉👌Good job. I love it 😍
Howdy! What captured me about this one was how beautifully presented it was, from the outfit designs (particularly the inquisitor had a buttoned clasp, which works given how often Jedi throw their garments off. XD And the Jedi wearing completely black underneath led me to question whether the survivor was legitimately on a good path) to letting the camera linger on the action. There are a lot of good-looking entries that are let down by having a ton of jump cuts. Yet, here I felt that the camera was allowed to view the action correctly, which Jackie Chan had in many of his (non western) movies that made the action compelling, readable and engaging. While it can potentially show flaws, I always appreciate being able to see the action rather then taken 2/3's level of flicker.
Maybe the Jedi was trying to redeem themselves, since a yellow lightsaber means a Jedi who honed his or her skills in a balance of combat and scholarly pursuits. Maybe he was the one who brought the inquisiter to the sith but left the sith himself.
@@K1ng1995 so, at the beginning of the video the inquisitor says something about a temple guards loyalty. guardsmen exclusively used Yellow Saber staffs.

I love the yellow double lightsaber and the choreography! I’d love to see a part 2 because after watching Obiwan grand inquisitors can take a lightsaber through the chest. I guess Jedis can’t lol!
The moves were definitely well choreographed, though Red looked pretty uncomfortable throughout. I don’t know if she was afraid of getting hit by her opponent’s saber or if those boots were just uncomfortable, but she just never got the footwork to look natural. It feels like the two of them just didn’t have enough time to work out the kinks of their choreography together before they were set to film, like they had to rush to meet a deadline. One the technical side, there were two shots that should definitely have been taken from another angle: there was a kick that was captured in a profile shot which made it obvious they were very much apart from each other, though the choreography would suggest the kick connected, then there was a saber jab that was clearly supposed to be a potentially lethal blow but was also caught in a profile shot. Aside from those two shots which should have been reshot or edited out everything else looked great. I loved the look of the costumes, and the designs of their saber hilts, and the locations were gorgeous. Oh, and I loved how they incorporated the landscape into their choreography, which so many people don’t bother doing, or don’t think to do. In conclusion: far from the worst SW fan film I’ve ever seen, but still not one of the best.
Very well done, good use of terrain. Great choreography overall, but I think the Temple Guard spent far too much time with his back to the Inquisitor. Keep turning your back on your opponent and you will (or should) get hit! That said, I do understand the difference between combat fighting and theatrical fighting, and it did look great on film. The late, great Bob Anderson once told Viggo Mortenson, "Of course that would be a more realistic defense, but this is the movies!" 😄
A fine dule' not what we expected I suppose,"...she switched to variation of form seven' from form 3 and 5 in combination with a shader point dark side power, almost had him...
One thing I noticed through the years... many of the Sith have respiratory issues that require various breathing apparatuses. I have seasonal asthma and it makes me a little angry sometimes, too...
I freaking love Star Wars... I'd 100% be a Sith, with either that yellow/gold saber (even if it is for a jedi) or a black light saber. I'd make it somehow.
Well done! The location, costumes, acting, and choreography were all great. The only thing that pulled me out of the film was the wig. Other than that, great job!
A recommendation for anyone looking to make a Star Wars fan film; you could make one about the Qixoni blade. A Sith kyber crystal formed when a planet dies. Jedi can't touch it without burning their hands beyond healing. And the activation of the blade, every swing, every thrust and parry, fills the air with the dying screams of the planet's inhabitants. A blood red lightsaber that can only be wielded by the darkest of Sith masters. Every sound it makes, the horrified screams and wailing of despair. Tell me that wouldn't be a great horror based Star Wars story.
What I really like about this scene was, the Inquisitor, and I am not sure if they meant to do it, she was always pressing the attack. Always moving forward and dictating the fight and her facial expressions did not change because she could be channelling the anger more calmly through her movements. I also like the subtle feints she gave as she walked towards him, like she was closing the distance and intimidating him getting her saber in his vision. Maybe I'm overthinking it but, I dunno, I liked it. Nicely done
The girl is the chick from SNL Vanessa Bayer and to make it even funnier, the guy is Qui Gon in Heaven way not red and way using a Dual Blade Saber so he is better than Darth Maul and proving it.
The music was good as well as the choreography, but the pace of the dueling itself was way too slow to conjure up any sense of excitement. It undermines what would have otherwise been really nice to watch. I did love the costumes.
