Im gonna talk about something other than the absolutely amazing choreography and acting. How the character of Triarch Wind was told through the story was amazing. In the beginning, he's simply a proper, ruthless Sith Lord snuffing out a small mutiny. But as the video goes on, we see Triarch tell Atlas that betrayal doesn't work out for everyone, insinuating that he himself has betrayed his comrades before. And we see him respect Atlas by placing his fist, which is clenching his badge, against his heart. Amazing work.
@@chriskibodeaux9818 yeah, really. did we watch the same video? what did you think was bad about it? for a bunch of teenagers having fun with lightsabers, i was able to get a lot of joy from it.
The guy who plays Atlas seems to have put everything he could into the role. The main character is also an excellent actor. The dualing all seems to be well choreographed as well. Excellent viewing material on May the 4th :)
I gotta admit, I was surprised by this one. I had originally thought (within the first minute or two) that this would work better as a fan film than as a LCC entry, but as it went on the action really amped up and the choreography really improved.
I *LOVE* the energy here! Lots of evil people going at it over a power struggle, that's good stuff. The characters are established very well in a short amount of time, and you can immediately tell who's got the upper hand. Keep up the good work, team! You don't often see someone straight up rockin' the cape, but your guy totally pulls it off.
You know this was low budget no doubt. But this was really good! The acting was good the saber fighting was well choreographed. Imagine if they had a bigger budget. The effects aren't bad as well. And they explained everyone's position in authority in good amount of time. This was good story telling.
This is a great Star Wars short fanmade film; the actor who pertrayed Triarch is a really good actor & hopefully their will be much more films; I subbed & really enjoyed the film
I was totally hoping the apprentice would turn around and (quite literally) stab Triarch in the back. With some kind of monologue that included "The thing about betrayal is that when done right, the victim always falls" or something to that effect. Would've brought this already impressive display to a new level. Great work regardless
I mean usually betrayals actually work so it was kinda nice seeing that a betrayal ultimately failed and only cost the betrayed some warriors to handle things for him

Honestly, Triarch was toying with Atlas. There were multiple instances Triarch disarmed Atlas, and choose to let him get back up. He was arrogant and sure of his power. A perfect Sith.
@@justincummings8557 Triarch has red lightning (which is the strongest form of force lightning), something even Palpatine didn't. I think Dooku might be better in terms of lightsaber combat but in terms of force powers Triarch can just zap Dooku out of commission
@@mist0804 1: where did you get that there were stronger variations of Force Lightning? I’ve never heard that before. 2: the fact that Dooku held his own against Yoda for a time holds quite a bit of weight, as this is the same frog who has studied every lightsaber form with the exception of Vaapad. In my opinion, though, Dooku’s best feat was his fight against Mace Windu in the comics. The fact that he held out against some of the greatest duelists of the era is very impressive. 3: Dooku could easily deflect lightning, as it has been seen that his vast knowledge of his chosen form, Makashi, allows him to compensate for his weaknesses. 4: I always thought Triarch’s feat there was a more of a form of Teutaminus, a Force power enabling the user to absorb energy. This includes blaster bolts, both real and Force lightning, and even lightsaber blade.

Hum... My Review... Acting: 8/10 - For the most part, I was fine with the acting. My only annoyance (though I got through it) was the dialogue. Some of the characters felt like they were trying too hard or were just not in character fully. A particular bit that just rubbed me off the wrong way was the girls talking. Cartography: 9/10 - No real complaints here. I think the only gripe I have is the girl using the dual saber was not really using it to its potential/style. Of course, I can't expect everyone to put any study into lightsaber combat, but for this particular weapon, I do suggest it in the future. Otherwise, loved the show. Story: 2/10 - This hit me the hardest as being the most depressing aspect of the film. I get there are possibly length limits and so forth but with so little context to what was happening, I really had no idea what was going on beyond "Cool Lightsaber Fight". The foundation is set well for there to be a narrative, but it just did not have enough context to keep me invested in anyone. Overall: 6/10 - Promising, definatly promising. I will check out the channel for additional films to drop reviews on. Hope this is helpful to some extent.

i dig the characters and the main guy just cuz hes a smug little prick...i love it the duels seem realistic with a few slip ups but still really good
