Yes! It just shows what relatively hands-off husbandry, with plenty of space and enrichment, can do for even "difficult to breed" animals. A wonderful reward for the thought, care, love, effort, and expense Emily and Ed put into the facility!

It's amazing how they feel so comfortable to lay eggs and you were able to improve their lives like that; even if it took a lot of effort I bet those are the moments you feel proud of yourselves and feel it was worth it.
It'll never cease to amaze me how much you've done and what a good example you bring to everyone who owns a pet out there, no matter what kind, but it definitely can teach much on how people should treat their pets, and that's just with love and care.

Jalepeño spice depends a lot on how they're prepared! If you get them in a jar of their own juice in slices they're going to be really hot, but from what I've always been told by my jalepeño-obsessed father growing up, the spice comes almost entirely from the seeds. Remove the seeds before they sit in their own juice and maybe you've got a bell pepper, but get a standard jar from the store and you're in for a kick!

If you didn't know: You can use rubbing alcohol to take the old sharpy off, that or trace with dry erase marker and rub it off :)

eggs are really porus so best not to wipe with toxic subtances.

@@Kytti-not-kitty I was talking about old sharpy on the plastic box. You shouldn't need to wash sharpy off an egg

I think that's so cool. Looks like the big incubator has a lock on it too. Well now you have room for all the eggs! Congrats guys on the success of your habitats. Wish we lived (or you lived) closer.

This place is pretty cool if I remember right they also had some mini squirrels and a gopher. This was one of the nicer petstores when I visited Vegas though...one store had a dead incredibly emaciated Camano lizard outside sitting in water. Inside you could see issues of neglect. Very happy to say this places reptiles were in good shape. I think I visited 6 pet stores that trip it was fun and in one I gotta play with ferrets.

Fresno chillies are just jalapenos that you let turn red on the plant, same with yellow/orange bell peppers, they're just green bell peppers that you let mature on the plant.
