Who Do You Think Is The Biggest Draft Steal From 2021? 🤔
Khalil Herbert in the 6th is great value
Amon ra st brown
parsons
ARSB, hands down. The guy just flat out can play.
The way the Giants blew it w Parsons & Davonte Smith needs to be studied. Prime example of how a bad GM can screw your team for years to come
Eagles traded up for Devonta and the cowboys picked before us , we wouldn't have gotten them😂
@@lassanadrammeh6209 If gettleman wasn't special and picked where we were we couldve had either one
@@FishGoMoo85 I'm not defending gettleman but even if we didn't trade back we wouldn't have gotten either because they were off the board before we even had the chance
this comment section is full of idiots. eagles got in front of us to take smith, putting parsons on a silver platter for us. we passed on him and traded back, getting KT at 21 from the bears. fields was taken at 11. that tradeback turned into evan neal the next year.
Toney and Neal are impressive in their complete awfulness.
USC had Michael Pittman, Amon-Ra St Brown, and Drake London on the same team and won 8 games. In case you had no idea how bad Clay Helton was.
And pats and giants could have drafted one of them
Means nothing. Mississippi State has dozens of pros in the NFL, including Chris Jones and Montez Sweat. I think Dak Prescott played on the same team. Flip that to Alabama, Ohio St., and UGA....how many busts do they have? A lot.
@@future_teknokrat7585they weren’t talking about busts, they mentioned 3 players who have already proved they are good in the nfl
@@future_teknokrat7585I agree the fact is the NFL is bigger and faster doesn’t matter how you play in college if you don’t have the right leaders or people helping you grow at the next step we see time and time again what can happen….Look at Pat he wasn’t going to be anything according to the experts but he had the right leader in Alex Smith and big red along with the entire chiefs staff who helped him become what he is now
@future_teknokrat7585 terrible example lol that Mississippi State team won 10 games... only collapsing in the season finale kept them from the sec championship & national championship.... they were the 4th ranked team headed into the final game of the year having been ranked number 1 for multiple weeks before that.... don't you hate it when people use opinion as if it's fact? Because it sounded good in their own head? 🤦
Watching Amon ras first td which was a game winner and the first win of the dan campbell era he became my favorite player on the team then and there.
I did a Madden franchise the year these guys were rookies. Somehow, in simulation for the computer teams, after 20+ years Nico Collins had broken Jerry Rice’s receiving records.
Crazy, his record is almost as untouchable as John Stockton’s 15806 assists or Wayne Gretzky’s 2857 points.
NFL GMs looking at this comment before the next draft 👀
St brown is #1
ra ra.... RA RA RA!
real
@@maskedman5657p-perna??!!
The moment I saw Penei Sewell not backing down whatsoever against Aaron Donald, I knew he was going to be special. Sewell really embodies Detroit toughness and the culture set by Dan Campbell.
I said before that draft that Detroit should take him even if it’s not a flashy pick and them going o line was smart (him and wirfs are great and I liked the wirfs pick as well)
Nico, tank and CJ going to be a crazy trio if they stay healthy for years to come
It's unlikely any trio stays together for even five years anymore. They might be franchise guys and hopefully stay relatively healthy, but it's more important than ever to enjoy these dynamic pairs and trios while they last.
Factz. Look at the bengals trio ... or when Steelers had Big Ben, Bell, and AB.
Shoot even Mahomes, Kelce, and Hill
They come... they go. Sometimes the win a SB, sometimes they don't
@@thatonewriter8043
I'm a USC fan and some of the receivers people had above St Brown in the the 2021 class was absolutely laughable.
I recently watched a video about his year 5 star recruiting class. With the numbers he put up in college how did he fall to the 4th round? Was his size his main concern? I remember the NFL hyping him up during the combine a bit.
@@Fitz5yeah being under 6ft and having a bad 40 yard dash time for a WR were the main reasons.
@@Fitz5He was overshadowed by Pittman and London who both had NFL size and traits. St Brown didn't jump off the screen as much. Size and speed weren't ideal but as someone who heard about him since he was a freshman in highschool, his intangibles were off the charts. He had so many clutch plays and 3rd down conversions that you kinda have to watch full games to appreciate.
I'm a huge fan of JOK. Loved him ever since I saw his highlight tape in Notre Dame. I'm actually surprised JOK dropped so low in the draft because I had I knew some big names had him above Micah Parsons in the draft.
Health concerns did him in
Yeah I was shocked when the draft came around and he didn’t go in the 1st round.
Bro is a truly dominant linebacker.
I can't really pinpoint a single elite trait of Nico Collins, he just seems to be very good at everything
Glad to see JOK get the recognition he deserves. He looked like one of the only players on the Browns who really wanted to win that Playoff game vs the Texans
I really hope they're able to get him long term
This is a GREAT idea for a series. I'm a huge fan of underdog stories, and yeah looking at the first rounders is fun and all but I'm much more intrigued by third round and below players who have made a niche for themselves, and in some cases become superstars.
I was hoping you’d do a vid like this. Great content as always. Hope you continue this series.
Thank you so much!
Another video series idea: looking at undrafted players who managed to find success in the league, and maybe getting into WHY they were undrafted in the first place and what evaluators missed about their talents.
👀
That’s a great idea
Do more of these videos they are sweet! I love draft steals
Great video, would love to see more for other years. One note - I personally would have enjoyed it more if you made sure to say what round these players were drafted in when introducing them.
Thank you! Noted! Will do moving forward!
I love this video idea, please do more for other draft years!
Thank you!
Dude what is the song playing in the back ground at the 2:37 mark. I hear it in your videos all the time and it sounds so familiar
Even though they lost, watching JOK trigger on run plays in the playoff game vs the Texans was incredible. Dude has a truly special gift for triggering on run plays instantly, shooting gaps and getting TFLs.
You should do this for the 2022 class as well 👌🏼
loved it should do others like this. next year you be writing about Khalil Shakir as a 2022 draft steal.
great work as always.
Thank you!
@@FootballAnalysis1
do a video on top 2024 draft prospects from non power 5, be nice to hear about small school guys.
The Trey Lance trade would blow a lot of franchises up. Bronos fans are watching this after cutting Russ...
St Brown is possibly the #1 WR in the NFL within 15 yards of scrimmage. I did no research don't @ me.
Damn good point about the Niners. It’s crazy to think what we could have done if we didn’t draft and trade for Trey
Even if they drafted him without trading up that’s huge
I absolutely love the sun god! Outside of Jefferson, he is my favorite wide receiver. Detroit got a great one with that pick.
good content...but I wish you mentioned the round they were drafted in
Its crazy how as soon as ben johnson took over as oc mid season amon ra blossomed
JOK always had the talent, he just finally got a great defensive mind with Schwartz to coach him up
Thanks king 🙏🏻👑
Goat
Let's not forget the demotion of the OC in Detroit which lead to St Brown's breakout in '21
Next time you do one of these videos, can you please mention the draft position they were picked at. Kinda hard to know how much of a steal they were if you dont mention where in the draft they were taken at.
I will 100% do that in the next draft steals video
My Lions has been hitting on all their draft picks since Pena!!! Jack Campbell isn't an absolute hit, but didn't have a bad rookie year. I was sick Detroit didn't draft Carter, but we wouldn't have made the NFC championship (should've been superbowl 😩😂) without LePorta and Gibbs though.
JOK is near the ball every play 15 yards in it’s awesome.
Suggestion: recent draft steals for each team
Gotta give some love to my boy Quinn Meinerz. For a D2 football player, he's been great over the last couple years
Even smaller school, WW is D3
@@doublecrunch2320yup he’s a D3 product. I was a sophomore there when he was drafted, and he had a personal trainer with him basically any time he stepped foot in the athletic center. Dude squatted and everyone stopped to watch
Do the pats not like drafting wrs like typical teams?
Why pick random guys or not pick wrs at all?
the entire chiefs class pretty much
Chiefs only had 6 picks. Top 2 center, top 10 guard, top 5? linebacker and a very serviceable backup tight end. That is an absolute value draft. Follow that up with the 2022 draft and the Chiefs have had maybe the best two year stretch in the last 10 to 20 years. Haven't seen much from the 23 draft, so here's hoping the 24 draft gets us back into the swing of things.
Christian Barmore deserves a mention he had a great year for the pats
Talanoa Hufanga was trained by Troy Polamalu right?
This just makes me think that drafting a receiver high is waste of pick, Kupp, Nico, Amonra, Puka, Mclaurin, Diontae Johnson, and Diggs were all 3rd round+ picks, and yet people still think the Patriots should draft MHJ over Maye/Daniels… lmao
Jerry Rice was picked 16th overall way back when the pass was less central to offenses. Jamar Chase was picked 5th, Mike Evans was picked 7th, and Julio was picked 6th. Even Justin Jefferson went 22nd, still first round.
You can't bank on getting first pick being any guarantee of success, but the success rate is highest the higher the pick. The same holds true for every position. It's more about having the scouting department to find those gems, the coaching staff to develop them, and the situation to give them stability to focus on their game, all mixed with a dose of luck. Antonio Brown not going in the fifth probably doesn't develop the chip on his shoulder that motivated him, and not going to Pittsburgh, it's pretty likely he would have sabotaged his own career, because he had maturity concerns coming into the league.
More so with rbs
St brown is one of the best picks in the 21 draft and a top 5 WR in the NFL
Please display draft position and player name on screen during each segment
Not mentioning MCII from the Jets makes me a bit disappointed. Now I may be biased but he’s one of the best Nickel corners in the league. Only gets forgotten because Sauce and Reed are such prominent players too.
I remember all through training camp everyone was saying we got a steal and then the first series of his first game as a rookie they took a shot at him on a slot fade and he played it perfectly and right then I knew he would be good.
Look up 2019 USC receiving stats. I don't think people realize how loaded that WR room was.
Question...Do NFL teams ever get audited to prove they actually are paying out the amount they report to the league? I've never heard of a team getting audited and I know there's front offices that would cheat in a heart beat if they could get away with it..
So glad JOK is getting some recognition. He's a beast.
How do u call 2nd round picks steals?
amon just works, and works,,,perfect fit
As a Chiefs fan I'll push back. Unless the player is like OPY or DPY level good you can NOT be a steal in the 2nd round. To me you don't have a "steal" till at least the 3rd day picks, but that is how I feel.
Seeing the st. brown's doing skull crushers with 45 plates.......
Creed Humphrey was a top 10 player in that draft. Not understanding his value is the only reason he wasn’t a first rounder.
A Christian Barmore bit would have been nice to see. Doesn’t get a ton of love and is quite a good player
Pats don’t get love ever.
Barmore should be a pro bowl candidate especially as an alternate!
Pats just never get credit unless it’s Brady gronk or a dpoy opoy candidate player
Losing Hufanga and Greenlaw hurt the Niners in the SB
Darrisaw should be on here. Where the Vikes got him was highway robbery
Who else saw Justin fields get rocked in the browns and bears clip for JOK
Sun God won’t outjump or outrun you. But that doesn’t matter when he just has that special talent where he’s *always fucking open.* I’m so happy we have him
Michael Carter II is that dude. 5th rounder I think
The best/ statistically proven best slot corner in football was taken in the 5th round of this draft…. Michael Carter II.
Gotta love how the Commanders chose Jamin Davis (Linebacker) over JOK and Parsons 🤦
Jamin isn’t bad but especially parsons who was a better prospect!
Creed and trey probably have had the biggest impact after trading brown they o line got way better
As a Texans fan I think we knew how talented Nico was. It’s just his first two years he had some injuries plus shitty QB play and shitty coaching is why he didn’t show his full potential.
Now having CJ and Demeco at the helm I have no dobut Nico going to continue this type of production and he going to get a nice payday very soon
He was a solid wr and now is a pro bowl player
Dog JOK had a heart condition that came up late in the process teams didn’t “overthink” it
Nico should have been a pro bowl alternate over diggs
Honestly still didnt understand how Sun God fell out from the 2nd round into the 4th
Amon Ra....😂😂😂😂😅😅😅 Nick Bosa...MVP for the Chiefs ❤❤❤
i got a shoutout im geekin rn
DyNasty Bginz ⚒️🦁💙
No idea why Asante Samuel jr is not on this list tbh
St Brown is a ppr god in fantasy.
JOK looks weird in number 28 lol
trey smith would be a 1 rounder if not for heart issue
It’s crazy how he never made a pro bowl he should be on a hof trajectory with how well he played!
Commanders picked Jamin over JOK😏
Amon Ra is that guy.
You should make a series reacting to hot takes!!
JOK is so good
All hail sun god!!
A terrible Packers draft. Stokes can't stay healthy, for some reason Brian G. took Josh Myers over Creed Humphrey, which I nearly lost my mind when I was watching it and Humphrey goes the very next pick after that and is an All Pro now. Trade up to get Amari Rodgers in the third. He couldn't even field a punt. I think he had 7-8 fumbles before they finally switched to Kelsean Nixon after a year and a half of Rodgers, and he plays half a year and gets elected to the Pro Bowl playing 9 games. He was that good and we had him on the bench and had a guy out there that everyone could see was scared shitless when the ball was punted to him. Royce Newman in the 4th was the only pick that gave us some quality football. TJ Slayton is a depth piece that does get a few snaps but overall, we got eliminated from this video quickly🤣
Would have been a good idea to remind us where each player was picked. 🙄
Seahawk fans are still upset we didn't draft Creed.
Texans wasted Nicos first 2 years.
surprised thanasis antetokounmpo isn't here
I can bench 225 21 times at 196
I'll never forget this draft as an Eagles fan. I wanted us to draft Micah Parsons so badly. We got a very good player in Devonta Smith who I'm a big fan of but Micah is just different and unfortunately he's going to terrorize us at least twice a year for many years to come.
Yessir
Your disrespect towards Davids Mills need to be check David Mills is a oky quarterback
Low key best qb in the draft.
Trevor hasn’t dont much more than him!
@@spidamitchell8311 the disrespect he threw his way is really mind blowing it's not like the coach staff he had really help him Lovie Smith is a good coach maybe even a great coach but when owners already tell you they move on from you why put your best into something
For the algorithm.
Missed you Reklaw 🚀

Your videos are so good but always ruined by this creepy video game music.
Background music is insanely difficult to choose. I spend a lot more time than I should picking out background music so hearing this is pretty disappointing. I’ll see what I can do in the future
