I am coming back to your channel mainly because there is no other UA-camr who test ev's same as you. After few videos I always easily make decision if some car is good or not good. Then I also coming back because of your personality, jokes and you are just different and that I like the most. Keep doing your amazing job 👏

4:00 jokes aside, some trivia: cupra born is named after a district from Barcelona "el born" and it's also a pun, the battery terminals in Spanish are called "bornes".

Woo hoo nice long drive :) thanks for the feedback on the seats 👍. In the UK (which goes on sale tomorrow) we can pay £3350 extra just for the higher spec seats and 20 inch rims. And, thanks to the chip shortage, the seats don't even have the memory feature! So it's an easy upgrade to skip... I'm relieved to hear the seats are still fine albeit manual only!

Apparently here in uk the cupra comes with the insulated windscreen like id3, that’s what it says on the cupra web page
People want to slag off Tesla if they don't like Elon and want him to fail. I watch your videos because of the way you talk and you seem pretty honest about things. It's great that you do night driving and review the lights - pretty much nobody does that and now that I'm older good lights are increasingly important.
Why are the interior LEDs so white. Only BMW gets them right at about 4300K or so.

It is The Netherlands, North Holland and South Holland are provinces. Because our capital is in North Holland many people say Holland in English instead of the Netherlands 😊👍🏻
Yes, and to add to that: 400 years ago these two provinces were together and called just Holland. Also, at that time provinces had more power (like states in the USA). Only later they split into North and South Holland.

Do you enable turning light before entering the traffic circle to show your exit? Last time in was in Italy i saw this behavior. In Germany we just enable when exit the circle.

In the Netherlands I also learned to enable turning lights before roundabouts. However, most Dutch drivers are frugal and try to save energy by using turning lights as little as possible on roundabouts 🤦♂️

43:30 the e-boost version with 230hp have "cupra mode" sportier than sport mode and it let the car slip more.
The heat pump on these is a £900 extra maybe this one is also lacking the heat pump? These should be standard in colder countries?
About Tesla software, I just wish they had some better phone integration. To me the media playback in a Tesla is the same as a 20 year old car, with bluetooth. And to me that matters way more than a bad system, if it has android auto. So I can switch between podcast/book/music or whatever, without having to pull over.

Great video as usual! High winter consumption as MEB cars heat up the battery all the time, even in 5 km journeys. It will be sorted in 2.4 and 3 software upgrades.
The cupra born should already have a better temp control for the battery.
The car doesn't heat up the battery all the time.
It was a bit long, but I ABC (alway be consistent) and stuck till the end.
Disappointed in hearing the still unimpressing cold efficiency. I just sold my ID.3 after 1 year. The cold deficit made me do it. Was a lovely ride otherwise.

Customer service have always sucked, only reason that Lamborghini cars excist is Ferraris owner and his agrument with Lamborghini. The clutches in Ferrari was the same shit as Lamborghinis tractors except it was extemely expensice to repairs, just as today... This one is must cooler than the VW.
How many of these EVs have that horrible indicator sound, or better, how many have an okay indicator sound? This one is horrible, that would be a deal breaker for me.
