𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘂𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲:

0:00 I've heated the headlight already for about 14 minutes in de carton box with heat gun. Pull off the glass
0:09 Mount the Mini Gatling Gun shroud on the projector with the included screws
0:35 Mount the Mini H1 bi-xenon projectors in the reflector housing and don't forget the bi-xenon wires
0:42 Place the H7 centric ring and secure the projector with the nut.
1:10 We put some new (extra) butyl in the eaches to be sure it's water proof
1:24 Don't forget to clean all parts inside, and press the glass back on the housing, before you putting it back in the box for about 14 minutes
1:49 Press the clips back on the glass to hold it on his place
2:19 Here we use cable clamps for the high beam splitter, but now we've got new H1 splitters available
2:53 Drill a (22mm) hole in the cap for the wires
3:18 Place the bulb in the projector, secure it with the spring and connect the black /red wires to the original H7 plug

Retrofitting refers to the addition of new technology or features to older systems. These days there are a lot of people who put a simple plug & play xenon kit in their halogen headlight housing in an attempt to improve night vision and looks of their vehicle. In fact they don’t realize that their headlight beams are often worse than before. Night vision achieves relatively little improvement on night vision because of a poor beam pattern, which increases the blinding of other road users. This is because their headlight housings are designed for halogen and not xenon.
A true Bi-Xenon projector update is now possible for your car. Such an upgrade will significantly improve your light output from 700-2100 lumens to 2800 and 3500 lumens, without blinding other traffic with glare from your headlight. Upgrade your headlight OEM style!
The latest high power Led bulbs will upgrade both the exterior and interior lighting system of your car. Led lighting is becoming more and more popular in the automotive market for obvious reasons. They have longer lifetime, use less energy and improve safety with their fast response time.

Are the high beams in line with the projector light? Because I'd installed one kit on my 2002 toledo, and the high beam in the distance is aiming at the trees :D

Is there any way to continue using H7 in short with the projector and H1 in long? I would be interested in continuing to use both lights as they come from the factory but using the projector with the short lights
Was looking at the link for my Leon 1M (2001) but it doesn't have the exact kit. What are the exact parts needed for bi-xenon? It has H7 for low beam and H1 for high beam

I'd like to know which oem projector is equal to Mini H1 .For example 320 E90 bixenon and mini cooper not worthy .
Notice that these are Depo (or TYC) aftermarket headlights. OEM Valeo headlights are sealed with TOUGH permaseal which couldn't be opened that easy.

Well then for the last resort you could cut it around with a dremel and reseal it...
@@SamFisherKI just noticing some inaccuracies of this "tutorial" dude. It may be misleading for owners with oem Valeo headlights keen on doing this.

You have to remove the bumper first to get access to two bolts that holds the headlight underneath.

Is it possible to fit a second projector on the inside of the headlight unit. And if so do you have to open up the hole?
Perhaps, but I am not sure how much space there is in the high beam reflector. Perhaps Aharon Matchbox projector would fit:

@@Retrofitlab Thank you for the reply, just one more question. When you use the H1 splitter to take power from the old h1 high-beam bulb to power the high beam motor for the h7 bi-xenon, is it still safe to use the original h1 live to keep the original h1 powered as well?

No, but f it's still relevant you can fit it into the Tuning tec angel eye headlight

There is a connection to the projector for the bi-xenon mechanism which connects to the solenoid and one to the bulb.

Yes, they will need to be adjusted to be level. This can be done by a level line on a wall for example.

Usamos la configuración 1ª / más baja, que es de alrededor de 300 grados centígrados. Por favor tenga cuidado y use una temperatura baja, mejor prevenir que lamentar ...

@@Rai_Rafali Sí, la caja de cartón no está muy aislada, por lo que la temperatura en la caja será un poco más baja. Cuando se calienta en un horno, la temperatura puede ser más baja. Y sí, buena idea vigilarlo :-)

You will need an automated luminous range control and a headlight washing system for it to be legal.
There is one set out there that is legal in Germany, but that one costs over 1.000€...

The Aharon ballast is mounted near the headlight.
