Love how open, transparent, and honest you are about your transition. It’s inspiring and helps me be more realistic with myself and hopeful about what I’m trying to do in my life! Thanks❤
I love this💙 I'm 22 now and the older I get, it feels like 24 hrs a day is never enough to achieve my todo list. I can relate to this so much because I'm a natural born night owl but these past few weeks I decided to organise my routine and started waking up early in the morning (4-5 am). It saves me time from a lot of distractions. I'm not perfect yet but it's good for a work life balance. thanks Celine
Celine I loved this so much! Such a realistic and thoughtful portrayal of finding balance with a 9-5, related to so many of the points you mentioned including the benefits of waking up early, finding time for things that fill your cup, accepting the amount of time you have in a day etc. love love love
Work during lunch break is the best if you get an hour lunch break ! Nice little break away from the computer and more energy when you back to work the last few hours
Great video Celine! I am struggling with balancing work and UA-cam lately, so this really spoke to me - a great reminder that there is only 24 hours in a day and finding balance. Can’t wait for the camera review x 💛
Great to hear that the new job is going well Celine and that you are balancing between the new job and other aspects of your life. Another awesome vlog and love 🥰 it and love 💕 Celine.
hello celine another great video! I just wanted to raise awareness on ashwagandha use- long term use of it can actually cause emotional numbness, basically feeling empty about life. with all things, pls be cautious and use with moderation and be aware of side effects!!
Thank u for sharing! Love your confidence speaking in front of the camera ❤ im also always struggling with my work, family and editing videos 😅😅😅 so i hope i can find that balance n discipline like u!
Celine! I hope you're having an amazing day and I hope you're having a great time. love your lifestyle and I love your discipline. Yeah! Your videos are an inspiration to me. Thank you very much for this video, I really appreciate it. 🙂👏👏👏👍
Great vlog, Celine! I took your advice and I made sure to have some snacks before I watched. The problem is, your food always looks better than what I’m eating😂. I hope you’re doing well and enjoying the long weekend! 🍉👍
We keep growing and changing, and changing our paths. Love your new early-morning hold on life. This vlog on finding balance and your podcast on "life creep" hit home.🥝 Balance ("the Middle Way") became an essential concept I oriented around. I learned, luckily, that "balance" is not a static thing, not in life nor in watching a scale nor Foucault's famous pendulum. The concept should be a verb, balancing. That helped me understand better. The balance indicator's always moving, finding balance. How we find it... I choose yoga, dance, good bodywork, mindfulness (inner balance maintains outer). Always hard to predict in advance what balance means, what it should look like; better left *discovered* than planned. 🍇And talk about life creep, I kept seeing new things I wanted that I hadn't seen before from a lower vantage point. For me, inevitably, the higher I climbed any ladder of success the more imbalanced it required me to be, to sacrifice balance for goal, climbing with blinders on. I tried to be so disciplined, and being organized helped, but...🍓 There's that John Lennon song verse, "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans."🍉 There's also that famous line by David Whyte (the poet who wrote the wonderful guide to corporate life The Heart Aroused): "What we can plan is too small for us to live." 🍌And the great Spanish poet Antonio Machado: "Walker, there is no way / the way is made by walking.../ And when you look back.../ There is no path / only foam trails across the sea."
your reflections always add so much depth, glad you enjoyed that pod episode 🫶 balancing is indeed a continuous action, not a final state. couldn't agree more about mindfulness, it's something I'm trying to incorporate more in my daily routine too! love the quotes and the wisdom you shared, I'm keen to look into The Heart Aroused, it sounds super interesting 🍇🍉
@Celinelikedion Hello Celine🤗 I really enjoyed this video and as I see it, you are doing a marvelous job of balancing work and your personal life 👍It is awesome that you work from home and well done on becoming a morning person. 👍When the time comes for me to get back into the workforce, I will be looking for a WFH job, which will be a huge career change for me, treading into the unknown. You mentioned very good points about flexibility with one's to do list. I tend to get hung up on checking off a list and getting stressed if I don't accomplish what I need to do. You mentioned prioritising on what needs to be done and I think this is the key to finding balance. Also, I found that getting up early allows me to get more things done so that helps with my balance in my routine and I feel less stressed. Your therapist is so right as well about what also to put on a list. Your simple homemade meals always look so delicious and healthy🤩 I am lucky when it comes to coffee ☕in that I can drink a lot and not get jittery. I remember eating the coca cola treats when I was young.😁 As for hair routine, it takes me more than an hour or so to wash and straighten my hair as I have such coarse, wavy hair but I only do this twice a week. I really like your necklace and Bean made me laugh with his snoring,🤣 he is priceless.
thanks so much for the kind words, Lara 💞 starting the day earlier has made such a huge difference - I'm glad you're also reaping the benefits of being an early riser! it sounds like a WFH job would suit you well when the time comes for you to re-enter the workforce. career changes and the unknown can be a lot but I'll be sending positive wishes for you, I know it'll work out! omg Bean's snoring is always a mood 😂 glad you're enjoying the videos and finding useful tips along the way!
Great video! QQ, did you disclose to your employer during the interview process that you also do UA-cam? For your line of work it sounds like it adds to the skills and value you bring but on the flip side, idk if it might come off as a potential “distraction” to them. It’ll probably vary between companies a lot but just wondering about your experience with this, thanks!
thank you! 💓 some coworkers know about my UA-cam. it wasn't brought up in the interview since it's not relevant to my role. but totally agree, I can see this varying between different companies!
Hey Celine, I watched your videos since you left your last job up until now. I was wondering what you tell your employer when asked about the gap in your resume and if they ever thought you were fired instead of quitting?
thanks for following along! 💗 my situation was a bit different since I had completed a contract role before my “gap”, but I was open about that overall. I think all you can either proactively explain the gap or just be honest if they ask. every employer may react differently but hope this helps!
Back to back videos that I feel speak directly to me 🥹 (you day) and this back to work and UA-cam. Was feeling anxious about getting back into it but feeling better now ❤️🫶🏼

I wake up everyday at 5h and I try hard to be efficient, and I feel 24h is never enough to do everything I want :/
