Great video! Google maps helps with directions 😬! Tokyo is really stunning! Thanks for sharing!
Google maps helped me many times hahah thanks for watching! 💜
@Celinelikedion Hello Celine🤗. I had so much fun watching this video😁. It made me so happy to see you happy and excited.🤩 Tokyo is indeed so vibrant and colourful. I love how Japan is so cute, even with McDonalds.. The food and drinks , I bet were tasty. I am addicted to Japanese coffee in a can. The ramen meals with edame brought back memories for me. I instantly elt so calm when you visited the beautiful temples. The teamlab visit looked wondrous especially the bauble section. And geek me saw a peek of Godzilla. I am excited to see your time at Disney Tokyo.😊
hi Lara! loved sharing the experience in this vlog, and so happy to hear you enjoyed it ✨ Japan is very cute indeed, there's so much attention to detail in everything. walking around the temples brought such a peaceful calm 😌 the godzilla is so iconic! catch you in the next vlog 🦘🫶

Wondering what camera do you recommend out of Canon EOS 1000D SLR Camera, canon EOS 750 camera, Canon EOS 700 camera If none please recommend others that can be easy to carry with good Vlogging capabilities.
I’m so glad i stumbled on your video. I’m actually planning my 1st solo trip out the USA to Tokyo and i can’t wait to see your part 2 & 3 ❤️. Any recommendations on hotels?
happy you're here!! 🥹 that's so exciting, hope you enjoy Tokyo as much as I did! my hotel was Via Inn Shinjuku, I've heard that generally 'business hotels' are well maintained

Afuri in Portland is my fav ramen in town! I think they only open restaurants by fresh water or something like that. This video felt so immersive. I love the 360 camera clips!

Hontoni sugoi, super vlog in Japan Celine
thank you! 🫶
Love the Tokyo vlogs.
thank you! :)
Celine!! Wow. Standing ovation. You should get a documentary award for this. It was beyond immersive. You captured Japan like I've never seen it before. It was so open and airy. Every building, every store, and all the packaging of the food and souvenirs was art. You were walking in a futuristic city. That observation deck. MY GOD! Boundless and breathtaking. I did not realize Tokyo was that massive of a metropolis. I've never seen that vantage point before. It was everything. I acted like I was there huh? 😂 Finally borderless. Wheeew. I hope you experienced some of that with your camera away. You were in a moving digital painting. It was alive, vibrant and full of wonder. This is going to give those of us that are less traveled something to aspire to. Hope. A dream. This vlog was inspiring Celine. Thank you. I don't even want to ask you any questions. I'll just go for the ride you provide. P.o.p.
WOW this means a lot, thank you so much 🫶 Tokyo absolutely feels futuristic, to put it lightly! the artistic experience in borderless was so unique, I had many moments off camera in awe of how beautiful and immersive the art was. I'm so glad it felt like I was taking ya'll along for the ride 🥹 appreciate the thoughtful comment as always! 💓
Celine another fantastic travel vlog in Japan and yes I am not good at giving other people directions so it wouldn't be a good idea to ask me for directions. Have a lovely week ahead. Love 💞 Celine.
thank you so much, David! 💖 glad I'm not the only one lacking some directions 😅 have a great rest of your week!
ahhhh love your video! glad to see ur enjoying ur solo trip in japan! i was thinking of doing a solo trip to Japan next yr :) hope u have tons of fun!! :D
glad you enjoyed the video! 💗 I personally highly recommend Japan 🙌
Ahhh! You captured Tokyo so perfectly, makes me wish I was back walking around the city. And Shibuya sky during the day looked amazing! I think I would have preferred that! Loved all the X4 shots too. Solo travel looks so fun (and therapeutic for some reason) ❤
PS, cannot wait for the rest of the videos!
thank you Mikee!! 🫶 already miss being there while editing the clips 😭 I agree, it truly felt therapeutic to wander around solo. and would you believe I nearly forgot the X4 at Shibuya Crossing too 🤣
Spectacular Celine Enjoy 💃

it was the quintessential first days in Japan 🥹 so many convenience store runs hahah hopefully we can plan another trip there soon 🤭 catch you in the next one!! 💖
That book at 10:48, the Tokyo Ueno Station was good and so weird, I never fully knew how I felt about it
that's so interesting, I ended up going to Ueno a few days later and didn't even realize 😅
ahh i've been waiting for this! so excited to watch bestie !!

I'm going to Vancouver for 3 weeks and not even bringing any clothes (as i had a storage locker there) and im trying to pack only a small suitcase this time but I'm not even sure it will all fit lol. Most stuff is my cat's stuff who's coming too (portable litter box, litter (for one night at the airport hotel in Montréal), food, bigger backpack carrier for the train, leash, etc... including his toothbrush cuz he gets gingivitis and i have to brush his teeth everyday) 😅
enjoy your trip and safe travels! 🙏
Wow, I just saw your movie. I didn't know you were on UA-cam.
I highly recommend high fashion clothes to visit Japan if you can !! We,Japanese wear nice outfits to do grocery shopping even ! Lol. It doesn't have to be high end or expensive brands ,but very fashionable outfits to blend in. Suits or nice pants or one piece to visit hotels & clasdy restaurants. If you wanna do a budget friendly trip to Japan ,now is the time !! Lol. I recommend to eat at Japanese traditional pubs " Izakaya" everywhere & restaurants/ cafes underground ,usually connected to train stations or inside of department stores. Or any restaurants in department stores. Soba noodle restaurants are usually very affordable in a casual atmosphere. Or, family restaurants. Stay at self catering accommodations or outskirt area of Tokyo. Business hotels are very,very clean/ affordable & come w lots of amenities in Japan including fridges & slippers & toiletries !! Usually under $50/night ! Capsule hotels are very clean ,too ! Everything/ everywhere is million times cleaner tgan U.S./ U.K.&most of European countries. Lol.💜🥁🐉🎤🎶🇯🇵💕💞
love the tips! thanks so much for sharing 🫶 I completely agree, it's super clean and everything well maintained in Japan from my visit
@Celinelikedion You're very welcome !! 👍🙏💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💕💞
I highly recommend to visit Japan in the fall, especially October !! Avoid summer !! Spring is nice as well,especially cherry blossom 🌸 season between late March & Early April. But,we have sand storm like phenomenon in spring sometimes . I am originally from Tokyo. Although,I've been living in Los Angeles most of my life . 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶🇯🇵💕🌸💞
cherry blossom season would be stunning! hope to see it one day 🌸😊
@Celinelikedion Definitely ! I hope you'll be able to ,too !! 👍💕🎶
Great video! I just got back from my trip and we went completely cashless which worked well. But only bc we had apple phones and were able to charge our Suica card via Apple Pay. It does not work on android phones. We also got eSIM and it worked perfect! We went to the Tokyo sky tree and we booked only the day of a few hours before we went up via klook and we got a sunset slot 😊 loved your video!

I can’t wait to see your vlog of your trip. I’m a African-Japanese Born American and haven’t visited Japan.My father is from Osaka. It’s a long story, but I might vlog my solo trip. I can’t seem to get anyone to go with me.😂
