@Celinelikedion Hey Celine, this is such a lovely video to watch🤗. I felt like I was there with you on your solo date. I love doing things on my own, especially discovering new sights and places to try new food, especially on quiet days. The last time I took myself out was to a huge pop culture convention. I had the best time. I am an introvert myself but I used to be such an extrovert. I can see that you have become more comfortable vlogging in public. The ramen dish looked so delish.😛 And what flavour of matcha did you try? I read all of the Harry Potter books. There is actually going to be reboot of Harry Potter but it will be a television series. The creators are now casting for Harry, etc. Cheers, Lara 🦘🐨

This brings back memories! I did this drive in March 2020 with my Mom & sister. We also moved from the GTA to Calgary. Unfortunately with the pandemic starting, we didn't know what to expect so we had to rush the journey. Our version of the fog was a crazy snow storm in the same spot!

I had no idea you are an Introvert too! Jeez, I just started my youtube journey and I gotta say.. IT IS SUPER CHALLENGING, I think I rehearsed at least 100 times trying to make my first review video. It's hard for me to look at the camera so I need to make edits every 3-5 seconds so it won't be awkward. Also, I just got back from canada 2 months ago and it is absolutely breathtaking! We visited Whistler and Victoria. God bless you and your journey here Celine!

It's crazy - i have no issues whatsoever eating out solo when I'm abroad (done it many times in Japan), but when I am here in Canada I feel almost like I'm going to be perceived weirdly if I do it. But I've gone on a few solo food outings and it's been great to get to know the city :D Calgary is much more of a hidden gem of a food city than most people realize! It might not have the glamour of a Vancouver or Toronto, but we have some amazing food places here!

As a fellow introvert, I strongly resonate with this one. I take myself on solo dates all the time. Mostly coffee shops, restaurants or just spending time in nature in a park. One of the most liberating things I did that opened me up to this is when I went to the movies by myself for the first time. I was all in my head about it before, thinking I would be judged, but turns out absolutely no one cared. lol If they did, I couldn't tell. And solo traveling to Colombia has been one of my favorite trips, being able to enjoy what I like to do without needing to worry about anyone else. I enjoy doing these things with people in my circle but doing them solo just hits different.

I enjoyed you solo adventure date and seeing that cool book store; I miss the large bookstores that used to exist where I am. As an introvert with often no one to hang out with, I do solo outings on my own all the time and enjoy it. I noticed there is a tower in the distance in the city, does it have a public observation deck for viewing similar to the tower in Toronto? It would be cool to see in a future video outing for you to visit the top and get a panoramic view of Calgary looking down.

@Celinelikedion Hello Celine, I really enjoy watching your weekly vlogs. I completely understand about lifeing, hence my late comment. I am not one for yoga but I have heard how hot yoga is so beneficial for detoxing. Actually, the best and natural way to detox is via sweat and kidneys also do a great job at detoxing. Well done on overcoming your social anxiety. I am also iron deficient as it is more of a genetic issue, being of Mediterranean descent, so I don’t absorb iron that well. I take non constipating iron supplements on the days that I don’t eat meat.The book Collected regrets of Clover would be a book that I most certainly would be able to relate to, due to grieving. I love how Bean likes his belly be scratched so much and how he looks at you, saying more please. The nights here in Melbourne, Australia have been quite cold for Spring, also around 9C. I have also been struggling with bedtime procrastination lately. I agree with you that sometimes drinks made for you at the café can taste better. But lately I have been finding that my own homemade matcha’s, hot chocolate and coffees taste much better due to having practised a lot. I think with a matcha you have to have a really good product (organic), use the amount of matcha and mix it so well with a frothier to get that café taste. Cheers Lara🐨🦘

Celine! How are you friend? This vlog was calming to my soul. Why do I say that? Because your days were very balanced. You did things tthat were reminiscent of pre social media. Living life. You probably were a toddler but the 90s was the last decade were smart phones and social media didn't exist. I remember in the mid 00s people only went to the library to get on the internet and now it's cool to see the resurgence of going to the library to read and check out books. I thought it was dieing but I see it lives. Retro everything is creeping back in. Hey, I just bought a cassette themed rug and I will be buying a record player. My Mother's generation ,(Boomers) bought record players snd vinyl and my generation it was cassettes then CDs. I'm a history buff sorry 😂. It touched my heart that you have social anxiety. I have empathy for you. Here's the interesting about you and I. We may be Ying and Yang. You have social anxiety but you're active in your community and travel. You be outside outside! Me? Just flip that coin. I am extroverted, i'm very comfortable around people I don't know and like small talk with strangers. I'm also a recluse. I don't travel much. I don't like going to family functions or being around people I know. I'm going to thrive in a new city. I love being around strangers. So, we're mirror opposites. Anyway, It's always great catching your latest vlog and it's a joy connecting with you. I like that scooter you were promoting. Nice! I always like your sponsors.
