Hi Andrea, thank you very much so glad you liked it. I have had some lovely feedback for these types of abstracts, which is an excellent incentive to get more done; I love making them. I hope you get around to trying the techniques; they are truly wonderful. Many thanks for watching, and I hope we see some of your work in the future. All the best, Louise😀
I want to see all that you are willing to show. We can always fast forward if we don’t need to see something we have seen before. Each finished piece is different depending on how the pieces and techniques are put together. Momigami is a game changer for me. I have been a paper collector for years. This has finally shown me what I want to do with them/
I like to see you go through the whole experiment,! Just as you say, experimenting can yield some awesome learning experiences, or results, at least. I like hearing your thoughts as you navigate. I have a lot myself, but new ways of seeing things are wonderful! Thank you!
Thank you so much! So glad you like it. Your appreciation gives me the confidence to continue to develop the abstracts. Many thanks X All the best Lou 😀
Hi Louise, you asked how much we want to see at the beginning of your last video. Well personally I totally enjoy the way you are presenting your subjects currently, so just continue as you are. You also tell everyone that you have linked the appropriate video with the needed techniques. That works well for me, but I do have a little experience in mixed media techniques. By the way I have watched each of your videos at least 3-4 times and some more than that. You are very inspirational, thanks ever so much for your expertise. You have jump started my creativity!!!
Hi Rebecca. Thank you sooooo much for the lovely comments. So pleased that it is helpful. You all give me confidence to do more, so many, many thanks. Xxx I hope we get to see some of your work sometime x
I love your art pieces. From joomchi to patchworks, I've learned so much from your process. And I mean to make some art myself but end up watching you make more art. Lol. It's really fun. Thanks for sharing.
I want to see as much as possible! I love your art, and I'm so looking forward to your workshop in Buxton in July. Paper is wonderful stuff, and what you do with it is so effective, and beautiful. Thank you for showing your process.
I love the yellow-green light that was at the bottom right while you were working. it reminded me of a kind of northern lights. When you framed it and it came to the top left, it wasn't so ‘catching’ for me anymore
Many thanks for watching the process. I just put a mount round it to show how they are transformed when presented and may well frame it as you suggest. many thanks X
@@LouiseJannetta please don't get me wrong, that wasn't a criticism, but an interesting observation that the same part of the picture, the yellow-green area, seemed so much stronger to me, bottom right, than top left. a sensory perception that can produce different effects. Perhaps this also explains why a picture viewed from different angles can have completely different effects. Fascinating!
Hello again Kat. It is so easy to get these little messages confused. I knew that you didn't mean anything by your comment. I love people’s feedback. I will certainly be more aware of your observation when the piece is framed and your comment will help to inform my decision X I must admit that as an arrtist there is so much one should be doinging all the time, painting is the easy bit that presentation is something that I am not so hot at. Its the making that I really enjoy XXXX
Hi Debbie. No I've not covered that you, but I will do. Thanks for watching and for taking the time to let me know you're enjoying the process. Keep well and all the best Louise xxx
Many thanks, and although I have a frame for it, there just hasn't been time. I will maybe list it on Satchi without a frame and see how it goes. Choice, choices.
Hi again, and no worries about the question. I used Bookbinding glue and methylcellulose mixed together 50/50. this extends the drying time of the PVA bookbinding glue to allow for some manipulation after the piece of paper is applied.😀
I have a question for you. I see how many influencers are using lotion and paper with the momigami technque. Do you think that this would grow fungus, eventually?
Hi. I think there would be problems if it didn't dry properly but otherwise no I don't think so. I have had paper rubbed with nut oil in an unsealed box for about 9 months and all good. Just so long as it is allowed to dry xxxxx
You are the only artist I watch that does this process so I soak up your videos. You are talented and creative.
Such kind comments and encouragement. Many thanks xxxx
Yes i love the painting so very much ❤ and agree with the lady underneath who said we would love any you have time to share💐🎨🖼️😃. Many sincere thanks

Many thanks as always for sharing your lovely work 😊
Stay safe x
Hi Sandie, thanks as always for your continued support. Xxx Much appreciated lovely lady xxxx
Lovely video, have you done one on how you gesso and pant the large piece of cartridge paper?😊
Hi Debbie. No I've not covered that you, but I will do. Thanks for watching and for taking the time to let me know you're enjoying the process. Keep well and all the best

Did you finally mount this Louise? It’s really beautiful!
Many thanks, and although I have a frame for it, there just hasn't been time. I will maybe list it on Satchi without a frame and see how it goes. Choice, choices.
@@LouiseJannetta great idea yes 👍🏼.
Another comment, sorry Louise, what adhesive did you use to place the background momogami piece?
